Laila turned and found Mikey running up to her.
"Stay away from my sister, gator." Mikey tried to hit leatherhead with his nunchucks but Laila stopped him.
"Mikey, don't." Leatherhead growled and attacked Mikey but Laila got between them making him calm down.
"You two, get along. Trust me Mikey, if it wasn't for him, I would've been gator meat. And leatherhead, leave him alone, he's my brother." The boys both calmed down and Laila sighed in relief.
"Leatherhead, can you leave me with my brother for a minute?" He nodded and left leaving the two.
"Alright mikey, what'd Raph put you up to that made you come after me?" Mikey was scared that Laila would kill him, but to his relief, she had calmed down.
"What made you think that?" Laila narrowed her eyes.
"Mikey."
"Laila, you remember what I said that one day?"
"What? That I meant more to you than a shield? Yeah, I remember that."
"Well, it's true..we should get going."
"Give me a second." Laila walked to find Leatherhead and let him know she was heading back to the lair. After a few minutes, she returned with a smile, putting her phone back in her belt. "Mikey, let's go...home." He nodded and the two headed home.
