Hey guys.
Sorry about the wait. This chapter may be bad and I am sorry if it is, it was so hard to write. I really wanted to get it written but it was just so hard to do.
The next one will hopefully be better.
Who's seen the age of Ultron trailer. its soo amazing, what do you guys think? all I know is that since I've seen the trailers I when ever I read the Ultron dialog all I hear is Jmaes Spader. :3
I own nothing.
Large platforms began to rise around the eight children and Tony, the first plat form revealed a robotic giant-man. Shaylee took a step back out of both confusion and fear, slowly the robotic avengers rise into the eight children's view.
"You see Stark the superhuman capability needs to be eradicated whether it be in the form of adolescence or not" Ultron said his robotic monotone voice sending chills down Katy's spine, Katy slinked backwards bumping into Azari who instinctively grabbed onto her hand in an attempt to reassure her.
"Hey, that's not fair, James doesn't even have powers" Pym called. Ultron's gleaming red eyes scanned James before replying.
"James Rodgers, son of Steve Rodgers; the most dangerous Avenger, he led them, he gave them hope. So like Steve he will be the first to be destroyed" Ultron mused stepping closer to the nine of them, James looked around trying to find something that would help them to escape. His eyes fell on the survivors who were hidden in cracks and corners shrouded in darkness.
"Not today Robot" James said trying to keep his composure. One of the survivors was holding a bow and an arrow with a trick shot crated by Francis that contained an E.M.P pulse. The arrow was fired witting the wall behind Ultron, which ultimantly shut of Robotic Black Widow and Black Panther
"Torunn get Tony out of here" James called, Torunn nodded lifting Tony up and away from Ultron's line of sight. The survivors began to bombard Ultron and the robotic avengers with weapons and sheer man power giving everyone except for Torunn and Tony an opportunity to escape.
"Scatter" Francis shouted grabbing Shaylee's arm and running - with her - off the side of the building, they both landed with their knees bent to brace for the impact, James and Azari followed swiftly after. Francis grabbed Shaylee's arm leading her across platform to platform followed shortly by James and Azari.
"Crap" Francis muttered as the walls began to close in around them. As the space closed in around them the only clear option to Shaylee was to jump into the slowly shrinking opening, she Francis, Azari and James leaped through the small opening and began to fall. Francis pulled Shaylee close to him while she gripped onto James' hand while he grabbed Azrai's. Torunn quickly flew down to the four of them and grabbed Francis' bow lowing them down gently.
"We need to hurry" James called as they ran towards the nearest exit and into an old dry sewer system. Francis and Shaylee were leading them through the labyrinth of tunnels; Torunn held a firm grip on James' hand as they walked following Katy and Noah as they weren't far from the front of the que.
"It's just up ahead" Shaylee called to the people behind her. James looked ahead, in the distance was a ladder leading to a manhole that opens up in the middle of a street. Each of them scurries up and out of the man hole and into the street. Shaylee led them into the old theatre that was on the street that they came out of, while Francis stayed behind and made sure that they all made it out of the manhole safely.
Katy helped to get everyone settled; finding each of them a bed and blankets, while Shaylee helped to get food of each of them. Shaylee sat next to Francis as the rest of the children circled around Tony, each of them holding a plate of food that was also distributed throughout the group of survivors. Francis gave Shaylee a smile and pointed his head towards Katy. The sixteen year old had a firm grip on Azari's hand and her face was flushed a bright red.
"Shaylee, I heard your wings are broken" Tony said drawing Shaylee's attention from the two sixteen year olds. Shaylee's eyes clouded and she gave a small frown before nodding and walking over to tony.
"Uh… yeah a building fell on me" Shaylee said in no louder than a whisper.
"And the dust?" Tony asked examining the wing.
"My dust only heals other people, it doesn't work on me" Shaylee said with defeat in her voice.
"What if it wasn't your dust?" Tony asked with a smile.
"What do you mean?" Shaylee asked, her face knitting in confusion.
"That belt was your mothers" Tony said pointing to the gold belt clasped around her waist "she liked to keep a stash of her dust in this compartment" informed her pointing to the X-Man symbol, Shaylee opened it and tipped the dust into her hand.
"This is Mom's?" Shaylee asked with tears forming in her eyes. Tony nodded with a large smile; Francis walked up to the seventeen year old and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Can you put it on my wing?" Shaylee asked Francis in a small voice. Francis nodded with a smile and the dust was deposited into his hand and in turn he poured it onto Shaylee's wing, the dust glowed a bright gold and swirled around the wing and illuminated the room before once again becoming dull and falling to the ground. Shaylee's wing was now straight and no longer had a large fracture though it.
"No way" Shaylee breathed before fluttering her wings attentively.
