No one knew who that voice belonged to, but it managed to calm Laila down as she dropped the sai and got off of him.
"geez, Laila what was tha' 'bout?" Laila was still trying to regain her sanity, or whatever of it she had left before she snapped and actually killed one of them.
"I...I just lost it."
"Laila, please, tell us what's going on with you. You've been having a temper worse than Raph's, and now you're almost killing us.."
"I…..I….I can't.." Then she suddenly collapsed right into Raph's arms.
"Laila!"
"Bring her to the lab. It's time we find out what happened to our sister." Raph nodded and carried Laila to the lair, setting her down on the bed. Donnie grabbed a needle and a small container, where her blood would go. He knew the only way to figure it out was to do a blood test. Laila hated them, for unknown reasons, so he knew he had to do it before she woke up. Rubbing the area with cotton, he saw Laila twitch a little bit and he knew she was gonna feel it. Setting the cotton aside, he grabbed the needle, attaching the small container to it and held it near Laila's vein.
"You ready Laila?"
"Just do it before it'll be your head that a needle's poking through." He nodded and pinched above where he was gonna do the shot to give her a heads-up. Then he put the needle in, and took it out as soon as the container filled with her blood, which wasn't very long between that. After stopping the bleeding, Donnie grabbed the container full of blood and poured some of it, carefully, onto a napkin, which he set on the sensor beside his computer.
"So what's going on with her Donnie?" After a few quiet moments of typing, he figured it out.
"She's got schizophrenia."
"Isn't the disorder that you get when you're going insane?"
"Or pretty close, yeah. Something happened to Laila to make her lose her sanity."
"I still have some left you know." Laila mumbled, sitting up, taking a few deep breaths to calm herself down from whatever happened earlier.
"So Laila, what happened to make you go crazy?"
"I killed someone….and after that, I just started becoming bloodthirsty..idk how, or why, it just happened."
