(A/N- so I've decided to do longer chapters to make this story consistent, just a notice so that people don't freak out)
Laila was shocked to say the least. Almost too shocked for words.
"Okay, last time I checked, phones don't, oh idk, fuckin' EXPLODE!" The phone rang and Laila picked it up from the ground, shocked that it was still working.
'What the fuck is goin' on?' She hit the answer button, and waited for an answer.
"Hello?"
"*banging sound* It's-It's been a bad night here for me. Um, I-I'm kinda glad that I recorded my messages for you *clears throat* uh, when I did.
Uh, hey, do me a favor. *bang bang* Maybe sometime, uh, you could check inside those suits in the back room? *bang bang* I'm gonna to try to hold out until someone checks. Maybe it won't be so bad. *bang bang* Uh, I-I-I-I always wondered what was in all those empty heads back there. *chime plays*.
You know...*moan* oh, no - *noises followed by an robotic screech and static*" Laila blinked in surprise, eyes widened in shock. She quickly dropped the phone hearing it crack as it hit the roof.
Turning around, she saw eyes staring at her, and her only instinct was to take off before anything happened. Speeding on the rooftops, she finally stopped when she knew she lost them. Heading back into the sewers, she made her way into the lair, lightheaded and panting a storm from all the sprinting.
She arrived at the lair and noticed that the guys were on patrol. Laying down on the couch, she turned the TV on but fell asleep not even five minutes later. She was out cold so she didn't notice her brothers come back. Mikey went to put his skateboard away and noticed the TV on and a sleeping Laila.
"Guys, I think Laila waited up for us." Leo walked over and peeked over the edge of the couch to notice laila asleep, without a blanket to boot.
"She shouldn't have waited for us.." Mikey and donnie went to bed, leaving leo raph and a sleeping laila. Leo started to head to his room but he turned to notice Raph getting ready to carry her to bed. Leo smiled at the scene. They all knew, even raph secretly and Laila was the only one who didn't know that he had a soft spot for her. He went to bed before raph saw that he witnessed that and thought about laila as he was laying on the bed and why she hasn't been acting the same as of late.
