Laila allowed Amanda to pull her up, and she recovered from her lightheaded. She brought her hand to her face & touched her mask. Laila never went a second without wearing it. If she did her walls would break. If they did, everyone would see the real laila, which is someone she didn't want them to was all because she thought they would look down on her. She jumped when she saw another hallucination jump at her. Laila took a deep breath and took off the one thing that hid 13 years of pain. That mask was the one object that hid who she really was from everybody. Finally, she held the mask over her eyes as she cut the mask tails off with a shuriken. That mask kept her secrets.
Meanwhile, a certain someone was hiding behind the wall, witnessing the whole thing. Amanda was surprised when she took it off, revealing all sorts of scars by her eyes, a few even past her eye as if someone was trying to gouge out her eyes. Amanda had her hands behind her back, hiding a kunai. The same kunaii she would use to kill Laila. She heard something & put her mask back on before turning. She only turned back to face Amanda when she heard Amanda's footsteps behind her.
