Soon the earthquakes stopped for good and laila helped donnie out from underneath the table. He quickly pulled her into a hug, but pulled away just as quick. Laila then remembered Leatherhead and took her mask off, handing it to donnie.
"give this to the guys and tell them I'm still alive.. I have somewhere to be."
"Laila!" She ran off before donnie could try and grab her. He tightened his grip on the mask and went to find the others.

She ran back to where leatherhead had, in a way, protected her. All she saw was piles of rubble. Laila quickly ran through one and started moving pieces of sewer tunnel, praying to find him.
"Laila." She turned and came face to face with the same gator she was looking for.
"Leatherhead!"
