A/N: sorry, I haven't been updating. Finals are coming up for me soon, and my school loves bombarding me with 300 point projects so...yeah. Thanks to everyone who's read this so far for being patient with me.
Laila was outnumbered badly, but she knew she wasn't gonna go without a fight. Laila took down a few foot ninja before dodging one about to stab her in the shoulder. Another one managed to nick her though, but not before he got thrown back.
Laila growled and attacked them, tackling two and punching them until she had to dodge a tranq. dart. Hearing one behind her, she ducked just as they were about to tackle her, sending them flying across her back, as she blocked an attack of another one.
She was getting ready to charge at her when a sudden shock gave her shivers down her back..
Attacking the foot ninja who shocked her, he was revealed to be a clone, and the real one almost stabbed Laila if she hadn't dodged, giving her a severe cut just above her leg. Finally, all but one that Laila could sense was taken down.
The last presence she sensed was O'neil, katana in hand, ready to finish Laila off. Her eyes widened and she knew she wouldn't be able to dodge another katana stab.
Laila was panting and trying to stop the bleeding in the cut, narrowing her eyes at April, the girl they trusted. She raised her katana and laila growled, before the katana was suddenly broken and April stumbled back before retreating.
She was expecting it to be Casey or Leatherhead who saved her life, but her eyes widened when they caught the sight of a familiar weapon, and it was certainly a surprise.
