A/N: Sorry, it's been so long since i last updated this story..I hope you forgive me. Btw, I'm taking a break from Laila's POV for a little while just so this story doesn't get too...you know...Laila, help me out here
(Repetitive?)
Yes, that. Thanks..anyways enjoy
(I know I won't)
Waking up's never fun. Why? Cause no one likes waking up, especially by force, like Laila was. Blinking rapidly to adjust after blacking out, she tried to move her hands, but they were restrained, along with her ankles. Growling to herself, she was just focused on figuring out where the hell she was.
"You're awake, good." Laila's eyes widened only slightly and she let out an audible growl at her visitor, who merely smirked as he revealed himself. A mutant rhino that Laila knew all too well.
"Rocksteady!"
"So you remember me." Laila's eyes narrowed at him as she tried to keep herself calm. Him and Bebop her own personal bodyguards when she was younger, but they were fired after Shredder found out about...that. The thought of him in the room made Laila shiver and not in a good way. "Don't worry sweetcheeks, this won't be like last time."
"DON'T call me sweetcheeks!" She tried to bite his hand and smirked when she actually did, giving herself an inner victory as she saw blood drip from the wound. While he was busy recovering from the sudden attack, she managed to trigger her emergency tracker that she had implanted into her skin. Hearing a quiet beep that signaled there was a signal, she inwardly smirked. That beep let her know she wouldn't be in here long.
"That hurt you know, you should really learn how to treat your elders.."
"You shut the fuck u-!" Laila was cut off by a immense slap to the face. She didn't even flinch, being used to punishment like this whenever she would skip training or oversleep as a child. Laila could tell Rocksteady was trying to contain his anger, the rare anger that he got. Unlike her, he wasn't hot-tempered and it was hard to get him angry. Right before he could slap her again, the alarm went off.
'geez, that quick?' But when Rocksteady collapsed with a bullet wound in the back of the head, she realized it wasn't her brothers, but someone else.
"Thanks...I guess. He's a pain to deal with."
"Yeah. Now let's get you out of here." The mutant who just saved Laila a headache undid her chains, catching her as she fell forward. He let go as she adjusted to having feet on the ground and stood up straight.
"Name's Laila. You are...?"
"Tigerclaw."
"Laila, that you? Come on, we gotta go."
"Casey was the one who came and got me? Wow...anyways, we should get out of here. Come on."
