Chapter 309

The court room was filled with with a stunned silence. Akashiya Moka stood calmly with all eyes upon her, dressed in a skirt suit that was the uniform of her chosen battlefield, with a confident smile of victory on her lips. On the witness stand was a sad looking man that had tried to protect his boss in a law suit for fraud and sexual harassment in the managing of a private college prep school. Moka knew she had just won her first case.

Since opening her own office Moka had been handing contract negotiations and disputes. For the first time, she had gotten a case that actually took her into the courtroom in charge of the case, and not as someone else's assistant or just to testify. The case had come to her because the victims in the prep school scam had been looking for somebody they could afford that would take their case, when they had almost nothing to back up their claims. When a pair of distraught young women had come to her office Moka had been able to sense the honesty of their emotions.

"I will contact an investigator I know," Moka had told the young pair. "If he finds any evidence to support your case, I will make sure that we will win."

Tsukune had delivered the evidence she needed. When she filed the law suit she had felt a chill run down her back. She had argued out details and settlements before, winning satisfaction for her clients, but she had been excited for her first full courtroom case. When it had been time to appear in the courtroom, it had been Moka with silver hair and red eyes.

The pair that had first gone to Moka had been surprised at the change in appearance. The woman they knew was serious and confident, with pink hair, green eyes, and a warmth that had let the pair feel at ease and willing to trust her. The courtroom Moka was hard, and instead of warmth she radiated a chill that was almost frightening.

The trial lasted all of five hours. Moka's first witness had been one of the girls taken in by the scam. The defense attorney had tried to make the girl seem at fault for not being serious about her life. Two more girls were called to testify, to establish a pattern. The defense never realized that Moka was just stringing them along.

The fourth witness was Aono Tsukune; Private Investigator. Moka had him recite his credentials and experience, and then detail the investigation of the prep school. Next was they tiny and cute Usa, who had come to work for her original Student Police Captain's company at the soonest opportunity, and had gone under cover in the investigation. Usa gave her report to the court. The last witness was a teacher from the prep school, who was forced to validate the authenticity of the evidence Usa and Tsukune had collected.

Any reluctance the man had at betraying his boss was forgotten as he was confronted by the scariest two women he had ever seen. The beautiful attorney made the man fear for his life with her steady, confident gaze. The small woman in her security uniform made the teacher fear for his soul, because he knew he would never forget what she had shown him when he had tried to maneuver her into a corner during a 'personal study planning meeting.' Yes, betraying the man that had set him up in a dream job working with naive young women he could take advantage of was a much safer choice than being at the mercies of those two women. The evidence included enough information that it was clear that he would never be able to hide from them.

Moka was still feeling the glow from winning the case hours later. She was leaning back in her office chair, with her feet up on the desk, and smiling at the ceiling. She was feeling excited and happy because everything had gone as it should; just as she had always wanted it to go.

The clients had sought her out. They had brought her a case that was interesting, and would let her be a champion for people in need. She had called Tsukune's office, not him personally as a friend, but as one professional to another, and asked for his services. He had come at her summons, and gone out to work at her order. The fruits of his labors were delivered to her, and Moka had taken the fight to the enemy. The structure of the courtroom made the contest almost a formal duel between Moka and the opposing attorney. As well dressed and polite as everybody was expected to be due to their profession, it had not taken away from the fact that it was a battlefield. Moka could not help but feel happy, because at the end of the day, the field was hers!

On hand to witness her victory had been some important people. That is to say, they were people that were important to Moka. Tsukune had been there, of course. But also present, as a member of the press, was her own sister, Kokoa. Yes, Moka had made her public debut, and there was no doubt in her mind that she would continue making things go as she wanted.

Then Moka smiled wider and dropped her feet to the floor, because she felt a presence outside of her small office. It was Tsukune, who was just the one she wanted to see. With the successful winning of the case, it was time to settle some accounts. The plaintiffs in the case had been awarded compensation and damages by the court, of which Moka would receive a share. As the one that had hired Tsukune's services, it fell to her to pay him accordingly.

"Pardon my intrusion," Tsukune called out as he entered.

"Come on in, Tsukune," Moka called back as she stood and smoothed her skirt.

When Tsukune entered, Moka was surprised to see that he was not alone. Following in his wake, carrying a box, was a young human man in his company's uniform. Moka only raised an eyebrow to the surprise.

"Miss Akashiya," Tsukune said as he extended a document folder to her. "Congratulations on today's win. Here is the final accounting of expenses for the case you requested."

"Thank you, Mr. Aono," Moka replied with a small grin, amused at Tsukune's play at formality. "You efforts are what made today's victory possible."

"I simply brought the information to you," Tsukune countered politely. "It was you who had the wisdom and the courage to know when and how to make use of it." He offered her a bow. "I look forward to providing my services to you for a very long time to come."

"I look forward to having you at my service," Moka said as she finally accepted the folder. She set it on her desk without opening it. "And with this, the business of the day is concluded."

"Alright," Tsukune shot her a cocky grin. He turned to his follower and reached for the box. "Thank you, Jun. You can go. Just make sure to have the patrol car back to the office before eight hundred hours."

"Yes sir," The young man gave his boss a small bow and a large grin. He was out of the office as quickly after that as manners would allow. He had a company car for the night and no reason to linger.

Tsukune didn't pay the young man's eagerness any mind. He set the box down in one of the chairs facing Moka's desk and opened it. From it he pulled a bottle of wine and a pair of glasses.

"Now that the business of the day is finished," Tsukune smiled, his eyes filled with a mischievous light. "How about you and I get started on the business of the night?"

"Go close the blinds," Moka ordered with a laugh. "And lock the door too. I do not want our business to be interrupted.

"As you command, Dame Moka," Tsukune bowed, making Moka laugh harder as silver and pink rippled through her hair.

Moka and Tsukune started their 'business meeting' with wine and supper in the office. The food had been unimportant. The wine, while good, was only an accessory. Between bites of food and drinks of wine, Moka and Tsukune shared kisses and caresses.

It was a combination of things that urged Moka on. She and Tsukune had been so busy for so long that it had kept them apart most of the time over the last eight years. Tsukune had reached his goals, and exceeded them, and Moka's wildest dreams. Moka had achieved her ambitions, and was still feeling the glow of victory. And the wine was good. She kissed Tsukune after he had taken a drink, and she could taste it still in his mouth.

The kiss lasted a little longer than the ones before it. Moka closed her eyes so she could concentrate on the kiss, and the flavors she could detect. Tsukun'e mouth had been momentarily cooled by the wine, but it heated up quickly as Moka kissed him. His blood brought the heat of the rest of his body to the thin, pink surfaces, where Moka could just barely taste it. She let herself nibble at his lip.

Moka's sharp fang penetrated the edge of Tsukune's lip. A single drop of his blood beaded up, only to be collected by Moka's tongue, before he healed. That single drop was just a taste, a tease that sharpened Moka's hunger and desire.

Moka downed her glass of wine after that. She drank it down in a single pull. She then took Tsukune's glass, poured the remaining wine into her mouth, and kissed it too him. After that, she gave up any pretense at restraint. She grabbed Tsukune's head between her hands and pulled him into a kiss so deep it was as if she was trying to draw out all the air in his lungs.

Tsukune returned her passion in kind. When the cleaning service came in over the weekend they would be finding loose buttons from Tsukune's shirt and Moka's blouse. The eagerness with which he pulled down his trousers left long, angry scratches down Tsukune's hips and thighs. He reached under her skirt and literally tore off Moka's panties. The blanket put down on the floor for their little picnic was spotted with blood when they were done with their coupling.

Moka rested on top of Tsukune as she savored the feelings their passion had sent through her body. Her green eyes were dreamy and her silver hair was a wild mess. The sheen of sweat on her face gave her a seductive glow, Tsukune thought as he admired her.

"Hmmmmm... Tsukune..." Moka half purred. "I think I'm ready now."

"Oh?" Tsukune teased with a roll of his hips.

"That'sss not what I mean," Moka struggled not to groan with pleasure. Their bodies were still joined, and the motion sent sparks of pleasure through her tender flesh. "I mean that I am ready to get married."

"I guess it's a good thing we are already engaged," Tsukune smiled up at her.

Moka gave him a hurt pout and jabbed him in the chest with a sharp finger nail. Conversation was delayed as she licked at the inflicted wound, savoring the taste of his blood. Her body responded with a ripple of excitement, threatening to distract her further.

"Tsukune, I mean that I am ready to stop being engaged to you and become your wife," Moka explained once she got her body to calm down a little. "I want to set a date for our wedding and send out the invitations."

"Moka," Tsukune said with a gentle voice and serious eyes. "I will marry you any time you say the word. I have been only waiting for you to be ready."

"I'm happy to hear you say that," Moka smiled. She didn't want to admit it, but a part of her had been afraid he might try to drag things out. He had a wonderful life now, and didn't need her like used to. "When do you think we should..."

"Tomorrow," Tsukune cut her off. "We can go down to the city office and file our marriage first thing in the morning."

"Tsukune..." Moka complained. "I am being serious."

"So am I," Tsukune shot back. "We can get married tomorrow. The ceremony and everything else can come later." He pulled her into a heated kiss. "Moka, I love you."

"Damn it..." Moka groaned when her lips were freed. "Tsukune, the day we get married is supposed to be special."

"Moka, every day with you in my life is special," Tsukune caressed her spine.

"Tsuukuuneee..." She growled.

"Hey, you were asking me when I want to get married," Tsukune pointed out. "I would marry you right now if I could, but I am willing to wait."

"You're being a brat," Moka pouted with pink hair and green eyes. Her look changed to silver hair and red eyes, and her personality shifted with them. "Here is what we are going to do. Since you are willing to wait until I tell you when we will marry, I will make the decision and tell you when that day will be."

"As you desire, Dame Moka," Tsukune grinned.

"Also," Moka went on. "I will be making all the decisions, all the arrangements for our wedding. When I ask for it, you will provide me a list of those guests you wish to have in attendance, and I will decide whom shall be invited."

"It will be as you say," Tsukune nodded. "After all, I get to marry you, so I am not going to complain about that."

"Good," Moka gave him a firm nod, then a sly smile grew across her face. "But we will take care of that later. You and I have yet to finish tonight's business."

Moka leaned into a kiss and rolled her hips. She felt Tsukune respond to her body. Yes, she thought to herself, Tsukune was the only one she could possible build a life with.
