It's been a few days since Daisuke and Kaito were taken, you've been depressed, you are very close with your brothers. They're your best friends, you're so use to being around them all the time. You feel so lost without them.

Your stomach is healing quickly, it wasn't as bad as it seemed, the gash wasn't deep at all but it was rather large. Prince Zuko is still staying with you and your parents, he can walk perfectly fine now and he's almost completely healed.

You walked through the woods with Prince Zuko following. You walked until you got to a cliff that over looked the ocean, hoping to see the ship that your brothers were taken prisoner on but your hope was crushed when all you saw was the beautiful horizon. This cliff was Daisuke's favorite place.

"Prince Zuko" you said, suddenly, you didn't bother to turn towards him.

"Yeah" he replied, he sounded a bit annoyed.

"Are you planning on leaving soon?" you asked.

"Yes in a day or two, I need to continue my search for the avatar" Prince Zuko replied.

"Can I come with you?"

(Zuko)

"Prince Zuko" Kana said suddenly. You absolutely hated how she started calling you that ever since she found out. You liked that she called you Zuko, normally you got annoyed when anyone called you just Zuko, but it was just fine when Kana said it. You missed when you were just normal Zuko to her.

"Yeah" you said suddenly annoyed, your tone even surprised you, but she didn't seem to notice. Maybe she was getting used to your mood swings.

"Are you planning on leaving soon?" Kana asked, she sounded so sad, wait, not sad, almost hopeless.

"Yes in a day or two, I need to continue my search for the avatar" you replied. She couldn't tell but you've been putting off leaving for too long.

"Can I come with you?" Kana asked.

All you could think to do was think 'yes! She wants to come with me!' you were too shocked to answer, hell you were too happy to answer.

Kana must have taken your silence the wrong way because she started explaining herself. "I'm sorry for being so blunt, but i need to find my brothers. I wont be any trouble, I'll help around the ship, stay out-of-the-way, you wouldn't have to make any special stops, I'll just look for my brothers everywhere you stop." Kana babbled on.

"Kana its fine, you can come I'll have the crew prepare a room for you," you said "we just need to go to the ship"

Kana smiled brightly, it was the first time in the last few days that she actually smiled, let alone brightly. You couldn't explain why but it made you insanely happy that you caused Kana's beautiful smile.

"Thank you Prince Zuko" Kana said thankfully.

"It's no problem at all Kana" you said. 'Gah! Why does she keep calling me that!' you thought in annoyance but didn't let it show.

You and Kana began to walk in through the woods.

(kana)

As you walked, you passed the lake, it was Kaito's favorite place, he spent so much of his time there, whether it was to practice his bending or to just relax.

Seeing both daisuke and Kaito's favorite places made you want to cry, but you didn't want to in front of Prince Zuko.

Which reminds you, you absolutely hate calling him prince zuko, you miss when he was just regular Zuko to you, but you felt it was disrespectful if you didn't call him Prince Zuko.

The two of you continued walking. You came to the clearing with the cherry blossom tree, this was your favorite spot. You meditate, practice your bending, sing, relax, and think, anything. This place is where you felt the most relaxed and happy when you were here, but not this time. this time you're angry, not even angry you're furious, your favorite place in the world is completely destroyed. All the beautiful cherry blossoms that were once on the tree are now reduced to ash, the tree itself is still standing but its branches are bare and burned. It was the only tree in the clearing that was burned. Jagged rocks stick up all over the clearing and fire nation armor litter the ground; the once green grass is stained crimson with blood. You saw all this in one little glance.

Prince Zuko didn't seem to notice the anger that masked your sadness. Though he seemed to sense your sadness and timidly reached out for your hand, lightly squeezing it before letting go.

The two of you continued walking in silence. Once you got into the town Zuko seemed shocked by all the destruction, to you this was sort of normal.

"Prince Zuko what's wrong?" you asked.

"The town" he replied in shock, then turned to you "it's completely destroyed" Zuko said referring to the half standing buildings, holes and jagged rocks in the streets and buildings that were burned down.

Theirs been so many raids, this no longer fazed you. The town looks like this or something similar every few months. The only thing that made a difference was that this time the firebenders were taking all the benders, or at least they tried to.

'Its not completely destroyed" you said. This confused Prince Zuko greatly, he gave you the weirdest look, so you explained. "All the people are helping rebuild, the earthbenders are fixing the streets and clearing the ruble, all the guys are rebuilding the homes and shops. Women and teens are comforting each other. The kids are still playing together. The town isn't destroyed, its damaged and it will be fixed. On this island, the town is raided a lot, the people here have learned to move on and rebuild" you finished. Zuko seemed to understand it, thought it didn't fully make sense to him. Eh at least he's trying.

"Why is the town raided so much?" Zuko asked. This is a very stupid question, regardless you answered.

"Because people from all the nations live in peace and harmony" you said then added "well for the most part" remembering what happened to Prince Zuko.

He nodded in understanding.

The two of you continued to walk, you pasted Yahigo and Ike's homes, both of the families were obviously saddened and terrified for their son's fate. You also passed Domon's house or at least what's left of it. On a hill in the back of the house, domon stood in front of the graves of his parents.

You and zuko finally made it to the ship; Prince Zuko ordered a bunch of the crew to do various things. Most of the men looked at you curiously, even lustfully, you tried to ignore it but you couldn't help but feel uncomfortable.

Soon after you and Prince Zuko began walking back to your home, now all theirs left to do is pack and tell your parents that you're leaving. You also plan to talk to Domon to see how he's doing.

You passed the clearing with the cherry blossom tree again. The status of the tree reminded you of how you were feeling, like your whole world burned up and turned to ash, but like the tree, it is still living and will bloom once again.
