Forty-Nine
Let it Grow
Serperior found herself in a barren wasteland, nothing but dirt, dust, and tumbleweeds all around.
"…EWWWWW! THIS PLACE IS SO DINGY!" she shrieked, lifting the tip of her tail out of the dirt.
"…really, author? A 'Let it Go' parody?" she moaned after reading the title.
"Yup. Start singing," the author said, crossing her arms.
"Fine," Serperior muttered, "but I'm not going to like it!"
Clearing her throat, she started forward while singing:
The sand glows tan in the moon tonight,
not a tail trail to be seen.
A kingdom of isolation,
and it looks like I'm the queen,
"Because I'm a Serperior!"
"Shaddup and keep going!"
The wind is howling like this hurling feeling,
can't keep it in, Author knows I've tried.
Don't let them in, don't let them see
be the good girl you've always had to be!
Conceal, don't reel, don't let them know…
Well now they know!
Serperior flicked the dust away with her tail, letting ivy fronds sprout.
Let it grow,
let it grow,
can't hold it back anymore,
let it grow,
let it grow,
turn away and slam the door!
She swatted a tumbleweed out of the way and lilies sprouted.
I don't care what they're going to say,
let the storm rage on,
the plants never bothered me anyway!
Continuing along the dessert trail, she kept singing.
It's funny how emptiness
makes everything seem small
and the shears that once controlled me,
can't get to me at all!
She kept making plants, bushes, and trees sprout, even making a mushroom-step staircase of moss.
It's time to see what I can do
to test the limits an break through,
no right, no wrong, no rules for me,
I'm free!
Serperior continued making more plants grow as she fully sang,
Let it grow,
let it grow,
I am one with the ground and sky,
let it grow,
let it grow,
you'll never see me cry,
Here I stand-
She stabbed her tail into the ground, causing a huge web of vines to grow beneath her,
And here I'll stay
let the storm rage on…
Finally, she made a huge castle out of trees, canopies weaving together to form floors and willow giving it an elegant touch.
My power flurries through the air into the ground,
my soul is spiraling in flower fractals all around,
my one thought crystalizes like an planty blast,
I hope I'm going back,
the past is far, far past!
Let it grow!
Let it grow,
I will rise like the break of dawn,
let it grow,
let it grow,
that perfect girl is gone!
Here I stand-
She ended up on the balcony of her plant-made castle, looking over the rising dawn,
And here I'll stay!
Let the storm rage on,
the plants never bothered me anyway.
"Can I go home now?" she asked.
The author laughed. "You're in a dream, ya overgrown ivy tendril!"
"SERPERIOR!"
"WHAT?!" the snake gasped as she shot up in bed.
Zoroark was standing above her, hands on her hips. "You've been singing in your sleep!"
"…OH THANK ARCEUS IT WAS JUST A DREAM," she sighed, falling back down.
Aaaaaand I wreck another Frozen song.
Percy: if you keep this up Elsa might turn down the heating in here!
This is the last one, I promise.
To LovingTogepi: Sora is not coming in here, he's involved in a crossover I have!
Zelda: then who-
logic has been beaten mercilessly and will get back to you later.
Agumon: isn't Sora a girl name?
I don't know. Japanese names are weird like that. I might, however, invite Kairi to stay with us… ANYWAY, please review, follow, or favorite (it be awesome if you did all three!), and love your Eevee! See you next chapter!
