"'Quit'?! What do you mean by you 'quit'?! You can't fucking quit being a Sailor Starlight, Seiya! No one's ever done that before!" shrieked Yaten at the other woman, even more angrier than before as well as feeling betrayed and disgusted.

Seiya nudged the apartment door open and sneered, "Well guess what, I'm going to be the first one to ever quit, so goodbye and have a nice life!" She made to close the door, but Taiki caught up to her and slammed the door shut.

Amethyst eyes glared down into midnight blue ones, causing the tension in the room to build up even more. "You're not walking away from us; we won't allow it …" deadpanned the usually calm Starlight, not breaking eye contact with her friend.

"And why not? We're all bound to retire from being Starlights eventually, so I'm starting now!" snapped Seiya, attempting to open the door once more.

Taiki slammed the door closed once again and declared, "You are not quitting on us, not after everything we've been through together. That girl is clouding your judgment just like before."

"No, she is not! She's the only one who's been actually trying to help me throughout the time you two been drugging me!" she gestured over to the moon princess wildly. "She's an angel compared to you guys! She's been the light of my life for the past few months! She's helped me more within the few months that I've known her compared to at least a year with you two!"

The silver-haired Light shouted back, "She's manipulating you, Seiya. Why don't you see it? As soon as Chiba-san comes back, she'll leave you high and dry."

"No, she would not. I have faith in Odango. She'd never turn her back on people that need her and you guys should know this by now. But hey, you two are the same ones questioning my authority and mental state, so why should I be surprised?" hissed Seiya one last time before disappearing through the door.

Usagi looked at both of the remaining Lights, eyes shimmering with disappointment as she shook her head at them. "Seiya, wait!" she called after her love, running after her.

"I hope that you two are happy with yourselves, especially you, Yaten-kun. I thought that it was you guys' job to protect dreams, but I guess not, " quipped the Senshi of Love, giving Yaten a disgusted look as she took her own leave out of apartment with a slam of the door behind her.

At an unknown location surrounded by pillars, three figures sat in front of three gems that were the colors of the Sailor Starlights' uniforms.

A shrill voice cackled when one of the gems, aquamarine, suddenly started to become red. "Yes! It seems like Fighter is starting to give into her anger and resentment finally!" it cheered with glee.

"I always knew that it'd be her who'd crack under duty that's why I should've been the leader," sniffed a snotty voice from beside the first one.

A much darker voice piped in, "Yes, but look at the other two as well you idiots."

A closer look at the other two gems, a lime green turquoise and an amethyst, were also starting to have a tinge red.

"It looks like they'll all break much sooner than we thought. We could even claim our rightful position as the guardians of Kinmoku," squealed the first voice in excitement.

A snort, "I doubt that, especially from how Fighter will most likely not break as long as that girl's in her life right now," breathed the second voice with a slight scoff.

"Well that just means we'll have to work harder to figure out who the girl is, her importance to Fighter, and how to get rid of her," declared the last voice. "It'll crush Fighter if she ever left her."

"We know and we'll make sure to do just that, leader; break them up once we find out who the girl is! It'll be most delightful!" shrieked the second voice, laughing maniacally afterwards followed by her companions' laughter.
