Another week has pasted. Prince Zuko always makes sure that he doesn't hurt your feelings, which just makes you like him even more. The crew still harasses you whenever Prince Zuko isn't around, you and the crew don't get along at all.

Currently the ship is near the South Pole, you're freezing, even with your firebending, warmer clothes would have helped...a lot.

You're standing with Prince Zuko, whose currently looking around with his looking-glass, in search of the avatar. You're just trying to keep warm.

Suddenly a bright pillar of light reaching into the sky appeared.

"My search has finally come to an end" Prince Zuko stated dramatically as he put his looking-glass away. "Helmsmen set course for the light!" he ordered.

"Prince Zuko don't get your hopes up if it turns out like all the other times" Iroh said wisely

You rubbed your arms as you shivered.

"Uncle my search for the avatar has finally come to an end, my country, my honor it will all be mine soon" Prince Zuko said.

Iroh obviously thought differently but said nothing.

You became very sad, if Prince Zuko finds the avatar, he'll go back to the fire nation, you'll have to find Kaito and Daisuke by yourself. You ignored your sadness and said nothing.

Soon the ship hit land, which was more like ice. It appeared to be the southern water tribe's home.

You, Prince Zuko, Iroh and two soldiers walked off the ship. The entire village stood in front of you. It was mostly middle-aged women, a lot of kids and a few elderly ladies.

A boy a little younger than you charged at Prince Zuko wielding a boomerang, yelling 'for the water tribe!' Prince Zuko easily kicked the boy, who landed headfirst in the snow, almost hitting himself with the boomerang.

"Where is the avatar, I know he's hiding here" Prince Zuko yelled.

Everyone stared blankly at the angsty teen

Prince Zuko grabbed the oldest looking women then said "about this old, master of all the elements". He's so rude sometimes. Well most of the time

Still everyone stared blankly.

Prince Zuko violently pushed the women back to her tribe and shot a stream of fire at what looked like a pathetic excuse for a watch tower.

You spotted a little girl was near the watch tower, you ran full speed towards the girl. A few people gasped, they must have thought you were going to hurt her, but that was not your intentions at all. The snow collapsed, and the little girl would have been stuck under all that snow. You picked up the small girl and shielded her as you melted the falling snow with your bending. The little girl buried her face in your shoulder she was crying and holding on to you.

After that incident, you still held the little girl and looked around for her mother. Everyone was looking at Prince Zuko except for one woman, who was looking at you. You slowly walked towards that woman.

Prince Zuko continued to talk to the water tribe.

You approached the women. "Is this your daughter?" you asked softly. The women nodded in fear, you frowned. "I wont hurt you," you said softly. You attempted to hand the little girl over to her mother but when you tried she only held onto you. This shocked you and her mother.

"Honey let go of her, she dangerous" the mother said in fear.

"No mommy, I like her, she saved me" the little girl spoke for the first time as she hugged you.

"What's your name?" the women asked suddenly very defensive.

"Kana" you replied softly.

"Why did you save my daughter?" the mother asked, her tone was strange.

"It doesn't matter what nation anyone is from, she was in trouble, I couldn't sit back and watch her be buried in the snow," you said defiantly.

The mother looked at you in disgust. "You and your kind, no good can come from firebenders" she spat.

You frowned and looked down, the little girl still clinging to you "not all of us are like that" you replied sadly.

"Mommy don't be mean to Kana" the little girl yelled as she finally let go of you. The mother looked at her daughter in shock.

All of this happened while Prince Zuko was trying to find out where the avatar is. A boy wearing air nomad clothing landed between Prince Zuko and the southern water tribe.

"You're the avatar!" Prince Zuko yelled. "I've spent years preparing for this encounter, training and meditating" he paused for a moment. "And your just a child!" he yelled.

"Well your just a teenager" the avatar replied quickly. You giggled you had to admit it was funny

Prince Zuko turned to you "Kana!" he yelled

You covered your mouth "What the kid is funny" you tried to stop giggling.

"If I go with you, will you leave this village alone?" the avatar asked.

"Yes" Prince Zuko replied honestly, he always kept his word.

"Then I'll go with you" the avatar stated.

Prince Zuko smirked, which you had to admit, he has a sexy smirk.

The soldiers took away the avatar's glider and tied his hands together.

"Aang! No! The world needs you, we need you!" a water tribe girl yelled.

"I know what I'm doing Katara" Aang said sadly. to be honest you felt bad for the kid.

Zuko walked back onto the ship, followed by Iroh and the two soldiers with the avatar. You stayed back.

"I apologize for Prince Zuko's actions" you said, however you were greeted with glares and angry words. You continued anyway "I'm looking for my brothers, Kaito and Daisuke, one is an earthbender and the other is a waterbender"

"She probably wants to take them prisoner"

You frowned "even if you don't believe me, if you see them please tell them their sister Kana misses them" you said sadly.

"Don't believe a word she says, the fire nation rat!"

"I believe her," the mother of the girl you saved stated loudly.

"Kana get on the damn ship!" Prince Zuko yelled from the deck. You ignored him and smiled at the mother and her daughter.

"She saved my daughter, I trust her" the women announced. "If your brothers come here, I will tell them" she continued.

You smiled "thank you," you responded gratefully.

"Kana get on the ship now! Or we're leaving without you!" Prince Zuko yelled. You knew he would never leave without you.

You rolled your eyes. "He is the moodiest guy I've ever met, he's so needy" you mumbled as you started to walk back onto the ship.

Suddenly you felt someone hug your legs, it was the little girl you saved.

"Kana please don't leave, I'll miss you," the girl said as she let go of your legs, you kneeled down so you were at her level.

"I have to sweetie, Prince Zuko was nice enough to let me come with him, so I can search for my brothers," you explained.

"He doesn't seem that nice" the little girl yelled she was on the verge of tears.

"Trust me he's a sweetheart he just doesn't like to show it. here" you said as you took out the ribbon you use to tie up your hair. "I want you to have it, to remember me by", she hugged you with tears in her eyes and then ran back to her mother. You stood up with a smile on your face. You took one last look at the southern water tribe.

"Kana!" Prince Zuko yelled.

"Calm down, Prince Zuko I'm coming" you yelled then mumbled "more like prince pain in the butt."

You watched Kana the whole time she spoke to the southern water tribe. She was really good with the little kid.

'Kana will never like me, she's so caring, I cant even control my anger' you thought sadly.
