The ship set sail as soon as you walked onto the deck. You wanted to talk to Prince Zuko. When you finally found him the ship was already pretty far from the village.

"Lock the avatar up, below deck, set sail for the Fire Nation" Prince Zuko ordered. The crew followed his orders as you frowned.

You walked over to him as he examined the avatar's glider. "Take this to my room" he ordered Iroh, "it will make a great gift for my father" he continued.

Iroh turned around and asked a soldier to bring the glider to Zuko's room while Zuko wasn't looking.

You giggled accidently catching Prince Zuko's attention, he gave you a curious look but didn't ask. "So I guess you can drop me off at the next port" you stated with a sad smile. Prince Zuko gave a you a very confused look. "Prince Zuko, I cant go to the fire nation, I need to find my brothers" you explained because the events of the day had made him forget that.

"Oh yeah" he said sadly, Prince Zuko was about to say something when you heard shouts from the crew.

"The avatar has escaped!"

"Zuko's going to kill us"

"This kid is fast!"

"Oh crap!"

After about 10 minutes the avatar got away with the help of two water tribe kids and a flying bison. The ship was partially destroyed and a bunch of the crew was frozen to the deck. To be honest you liked them better that way. Prince Zuko shouted some orders and Iroh spoke to him. He was so busy you decided not to talk to him till later, you didn't want to stress him out.

After Zuko had some time to chill out you found him leaning on the railing looking out into the ocean. You stood next to him gently nudging his shoulder to get his attention.

"I'm sorry that the avatar got away" you said. Prince Zuko looked at you "but I am kind of happy because now I can stay on the ship with you," you finished with a warm smile. Prince Zuko actually smiled back.

"That's the only good thing" he stated sadly trying to sound happy.

"I know you'll catch him," you told him confidently.

Prince Zuko nodded, "Thanks Kana" he said.

You smiled, Zuko looked at you. You're absolutely freezing; your bending wasn't enough to keep you warm. Usually you're pretty good at regulating your body temperature but it was just too cold here. For the first time today Prince Zuko noticed that your wearing a short skirt and a black top that should only be worn in very hot weather.

"Kana! Don't you have anything warmer, you must be freezing" Prince Zuko scolded but you knew that he was just worried. He grabbed your hand and dragged you below deck and towards his room.

"No" you said awkwardly.

"I'll warm you up" one of the crewmembers laughed.

Zuko glared at him then turned back to you as he still pulled you towards his room. "Why don't you have any warmer clothes." Prince Zuko asked.

"I've lived on a tropical island all my life, I've never needed them" you said in embarrassment. You couldn't help but notice that Prince Zuko's hand is really warm.

Once you got to Prince Zuko's room, he made you sit on the bed, then he went through his closet, he took something out then he went to a dresser and took something else.

"Here" Prince Zuko said as he handed you clothes. "It's not much but it's the smallest clothes I have and its warmer than your clothes"

You took the clothes and said thank you as you shivered slightly. You changed in the bathroom. Prince Zuko had given you a black short-sleeved training shirt and black training pants. First the baggy bed shirt now this, at this rate you might claim all of his clothes.

Kana walked out of the bathroom wearing your clothes, the pants fit loosely on her hips, they were oversized and really baggy on her long thin legs and the shirt was only sort of baggy. You couldn't help but think about how you liked seeing her in your clothes.

"This is weird" Kana stated as she looked at herself in the mirror, she turned and looked at herself from different angles. You thought it was a bit strange but you weren't going to complain about the view.

"Why?" you asked curiously.

"Its odd not seeing my legs or stomach" she replied. "I've always worn skirts" Kana added as she sat down on the bed. You sat next to her. "I guess its not all bad, I can finally sit like a man," she giggled as she did her best impression of how guys sits. You laughed.

"Do you feel any warmer?" you asked.

"Not really" she replied as she unconsciously crossed her arms, shivering slightly.

You looked at Kana she was still shivering but color was coming back to her face. Her lips still held a light blue tint. You really wanted to kiss her.

Apparently you were staring at kana for a long time

"Prince Zuko...Prince Zuko!" Kana repeated until she got your attention.

You blinked a few times "What?" you asked slightly confused.

"You were staring at me" Kana said quietly, she looked away as if there was something very interesting on the floor. A light pink blush crept onto her cheeks.

"Oh" you said stupidly "I'm sorry"

"Its fine" Kana said awkwardly, she was still shivering; you just wanted to hold her.

Prince Zuko rested his hand on the side of your face, causing you to blush even more. His hand was really warm; you wished that Prince Zuko would hold you but that probably wasn't going to happen.

'Why would a prince be interested in me' you found yourself thinking. "Prince Zuko, what are you doing?" you asked softly as you looked away.

His eyes widened for a second as if he didn't know what he was doing, then he pulled his hand away and stood up.

"Um let's go find Uncle, he'll make some hot tea for you" Prince Zuko said quickly. He grabbed your wrist and pulled you out of the room, this time in search for Iroh.

As Prince Zuko dragged you around, the crew began whispering about you. One guy even said something about you being a whore. If Prince Zuko wasn't walking so fast and dragging you along, you would have punched that guy.

"Prince Zuko slow down, you don't have to drag me" you stated in an attempt to get him to stop.

"Sorry" he said awkwardly

"Its fine" you replied with a smile.

You and Prince Zuko continued to search for Iroh, you almost tripped over the pants so many times and the shirt was really starting to annoy you. 'I miss my clothes, at least these are a little warmer' you thought.

Eventually you found Iroh in the galley talking to the chef. Iroh laughed when he saw you and Prince Zuko.

"Kana now why are you wearing Prince Zuko's clothes?" Iroh asked with a laugh.

"He made me" you said rather childishly as you stuck your tongue out at Zuko

"She was freezing, she didn't have any warm clothes" Prince Zuko explained before his Uncle could make fun of him.

"We'll buy you new clothes at the next port" Iroh said excitedly.

"That's creepy" you mumbled. Prince Zuko actually laughed a little.

Iroh made you ginseng tea, which really helped you warm up. You spent the rest of the day with Prince Zuko. You were going to take a nap but he kept dragging you everywhere...literally. You knew that he meant well because he was just worried about you being cold. You thought it was very sweet.

That night you couldn't sleep at all, sharing a bed with Prince Zuko is not working. It would have been much easier if you didn't wish you were in his arms. But you aren't so you're as close to the end of the bed as possible. You woke Zuko's shirt to bed again and his scent lingering on the shirt kept you awake. It was going to be a long night.
