Its been a few days and the ship is now docked at a Fire Nation port. Thankfully it's warm and you're happy to be wearing your clothes again. Today you wore a strapless black top that ended a little bit above the bottom of your rib cage and a short black skirt with a red dragon design. You met Prince Zuko and Iroh on deck.

"Sorry I took so long" you apologized. Iroh nodded and prince zuko just stared at you. " Prince Zuko is something wrong?" you asked softly.

"Your clothes..." he trailed off

"What's wrong with them?" you asked in confusion.

"Nothing, they look good on you..." Prince Zuko trailed off again.

"He means a beautiful young girl like you is sure to draw a lot of attention at a port" Iroh explained.

"Oh" you mumbled, the idea of being noticed made you a little uneasy but you decided to not worry about it.

You, Prince Zuko and Iroh walked off the ship and walked around the port, while the ship was being repaired. As you walked you realized that Zuko was right, almost every man you walked past looked at you. You absently walked a bit closer to Zuko.

"I want the repairs finished today or we'll lose his trail" Prince Zuko stated seriously.

"Whose trail...oh you mean the avatar's?" Iroh said.

"shhhh! Don't say his name on this port! Every firebender in the fire nation will be looking for him" Zuko snapped. You giggled softly which earned you a look from Zuko/

A middle-aged man with stupid looking sideburns approached. He quickly looked you up and down then turned his attention to Iroh and Zuko.

"Ah general Iroh, Prince Zuko, it's an honor to have you visit my port, the firelord's brother and son are always welcome" the ugly man said.

"Retired general, it good to see you again Zhao" Iroh said politely.

Prince Zuko just stood there and 'hmped' as he turned away.

"And who is this beautiful women" Zhao asked looking at you with hungry eyes. You didn't like the way he looked at you.

Prince Zuko quickly turned back "this is kana" he paused for a moment then said "she's my girlfriend" you looked at Prince Zuko and blushed slightly.

Zhao took one last look at you then turned his attention back to Zuko., much to your relief changed the subject "that's a lot of damage to your ship" he commented.

"Yes its in for repairs" Prince Zuko replied in a fake sounding voice

"It must have been pretty exciting" Zhao stated in an equally fake tone.

"Yes, Uncle tell Zhao what happened" Prince Zuko said as he elbowed Iroh.

"Oh yeah" Iroh said, then he whispered very loudly to Prince Zuko "what did we crash or something?"

"Yes, Uncle! Right into an Earth Kingdom ship" Prince Zuko said. Wow he is a horrible liar.

"You must full me in with all the thrilling details, over some tea" Zhao said.

"We don't have time for tea" Prince Zuko mumbled darkly.

"Prince Zuko show some respect, of course we'll have tea with you" Iroh replied. "There is always time for tea"

Zuko groaned loudly.

'Great,' you thought sarcastically.

Prince Zuko grabbed your hand as you followed Zhao and Iroh.

"Why did you say I was your girlfriend?" you whispered.

"I didn't want Zhao hitting on you" Prince Zuko replied.

"Thanks" you whispered gratefully "he really creeps me out."

"No problem" he replied.

You were led into a fire nation tent. You sat with your legs under you, next to Zuko. You didn't really pay attention to the conversation nor did you drink the tea.

"You know your girlfriend doesn't act like a girlfriend should" Zhao commented.

You gave Zuko a worried look, What the hell did Zhao expect? Thankfully Zuko spoke for you. "She's usually much more affectionate but she's exhausted today." Zhao didn't seem to buy that but he didn't question it, once he turned away Zuko gave you an apologetic look, you smiled sweetly at him.

You just wanted to leave.

"...by years end the earth kingdom and water tribes will have fallen" Zhao finished.

"My father is a fool if he thinks the world will follow him willingly." prince zuko mumbled. You had to agree, your one of the people who would never follow the firelord.

"Really Prince Zuko, the only one who could stop your father is the avatar and no one has seen him in over 100 years...unless you've found something" Zhao hinted.

At that moment Iroh knocked over a sword display, you rolled your eyes. "My fault completely" Iroh said.

"I haven't found anything, like you said, no one has seen the avatar in over 100 years" Prince Zuko replied in a low voice. He stood up suddenly. He grabbed your arm, it hurt slightly but you didn't say anything, sometimes Zuko doesn't think and he's a bit too rough. "Come on Kana, Uncle we're leaving" he said.

But as the three of you tried to leave, two of Zhao's men blocked the way.

"Commander Zhao we interrogated the crew, like you ordered, they said that Prince Zuko had captured the avatar but let him escape" the first soldier said.

"They also confirmed that Prince Zuko and the girl are not dating" the second soldier added.

That piece of information was so uncalled for Zhao is really freaking creepy

"Keep Kana out of this" Zuko practically growled.

"Tell me again how your ship was damaged" Zhao said darkly.

Zuko and Zhao argued about the avatar. When Zhao prepared to leave, he announced that you, Prince Zuko and Iroh would be held captive until Zhao leaves the port. Zuko being an arrogant teen angst just had to comment. But that one of the things you like about Prince Zuko he always speaks his mind. Zhao however was not pleased.

"You can't compete with me, I have hundreds of warships at my disposal, and you, you're a banished prince, no home no allies. Your own father doesn't even want you" Zhao stated coldly.

"You're wrong once I deliver the avatar to my father, he will welcome me home with my honor and restore my rightful place on the throne." Prince Zuko said. Too bad he's so naïve about what a horrible man his father is.

"If your father wanted you to come home, he would have let you return by now, avatar or no avatar. But in his eyes you're just a weak failure. A disgrace to the fire nation." Zhao argued.

"That's not true!" Prince Zuko yelled angrily.

"You have the scar to prove it!"

" Maybe you'd like one to match" Prince Zuko yelled angrily. His temper was getting out of control.

Its final Prince Zuko and Zhao will fight an agni kai at sunset.

As you walked away you, you stood close to Zuko, you felt a bit safer with him.

Once you were out of Zhao's sight you turned to Zuko and said, "You know you didn't have to stand up for me, I can take care of myself"

"I know but you looked so nervous, he shouldn't have treated you like that" Zuko replied quietly.

"I really appreciate it," you said with a smile.

Zuko smiled back, "I may have lost my honor, but I'll fight to protect yours"

"Zuko you're the most honorable person I know"
