You and zuko are sneaking around the fire temple, so far theirs no sign of the avatar or his friends, or even the fire sages. You were surprised you thought that there would be someone around. Zuko took your hand protectively as the two of you walked side by side you looked around. You had to admit that the fire temple is very pretty.
Zuko led you up a flight of stairs when you heard voices and footsteps from behind you. You and Zuko hid in shadows. After a few moments two fire sages walked by as if you weren't there.
'That was close' you thought.
The two of you almost silently ran around the temple until you found the door that only five separate fire blasts could open. In front of the door was the avatar, the two water tribe kids, a flying lemur and a young fire sage. They were trying to open the door.
Zuko took out his dual swords. You smirked a little knowing that you've taught him how to wield them.
Zuko silently captured the Aang by crossing the blades over his throat. Zuko slowly back away with him and it worked until the water tribe girl turned around.
"Aang!" she yelled
There was a short fight that ended with you and Zuko being tied to a pillar.
"Well this sucks" you mumbled.
"Sorry Kana"
"Why? None of this is your fault," you explained.
Zuko looked down. "If they didn't catch us we wouldn't be like this"
"Don't worry we'll get out" you said brightly.
Zuko, following your lead nodded and smiled a bit. Right after you said that things got a lot worse. Zhao showed up, just as the avatar got into Roku's room. Honestly you were hoping Zhao wouldn't see you but you knew that was impossible.
Once admiral monkey face was done ordering the fire sages around and tied up the rogue fire sage, Katara and Sokka. He turned and acknowledged you and Zuko.
"Well, well, well if it isn't the fire prince, you're suppose to be banished" Zhao said threateningly.
"my father will understand why I've returned" Zuko growled.
Zhao rolled his eyes "I have no time for children" he muttered.
Zuko growled and struggled to free you and he as Zhao truned his attention to you.
"Hmm it's about time someone tied you up" Zhao said. The hell was that suppose to mean?
"Leave her alone!" Zuko growled in a low voice as he struggled even more to free himself.
Zhao brushed it off as you tried to free yourself.
"Zuko relax, he's not worth your time" you reasoned softly.
Zuko quit struggling after you said that. "He insulted you" he replied childishly.
Zhao tried to open the avatar's chamber but instead of seeing Aang, avatar Roku stood in his place.
Fire filled the room, though it did not hurt. The flames freed you and Zuko from your bindings.
Quietly and swiftly while the two of you slipped out of the room. Zhao, the fire sages and the avatar's group were mesmerized by avatar Roku's presence. You and Zuko escaped to the small boat.
Once you were in the cabin and boat had started on its course, you laid down across three seats, Zuko checked a few things and then sat down next to you.
"Well that was close" you commented.
"You're hurt" Zuko said rather childishly.
You looked confused because you didn't see anything but then you noticed the minor rope burns on your stomach. "Don't worry about it, Zuko, I'm fine" you said but it was too late, Zuko had already gotten up and was searching for medical supplies.
Without a word Zuko put a washcloth over your wounds and quickly cleaned it the wrapped it. You had to admit he much better at than the first time he wrapped your wounds.
"Thanks" You said gratefully. You thought it was cute that he cares so much.
"No problem, I just want you to be ok" zuko said. You smiled brightly and lightly kissed him.
