You and zuko revealed yourselves. Katara and Yue were shocked and a bit fearful. Kaito however flashed a glorious grin.

"Kana!" he yelled as he gathered you up in his bear-like arms.

"Kaito! I'm so happy you're ok," you said with a bright smile.

"Aw little sister, you know I'd be ok, I'm a bear remember, I was so worried about you when Daisuke told me he saw that you get knocked out" Kaito admitted.

"Zuko saved me" you informed him.

"So did Prince-Pain-In-The-Ass ask you out yet?" Kaito asked rather bluntly. Once he heard this, Zuko stopped looking threatening and blushed as you turned several shades of red and nodded.

"Zuko has a girlfriend?" Katara questioned. "That's just gross." you glared at the waterbender.

Zuko continued with what he came here for. He tried to kidnap Aang but Katara got in his way. "Here for a rematch?" Zuko asked

"Trust me Zuko it's not going to be much of a match" Katara replied smugly.

Katara and Zuko's fight ended fairly quickly which ended in Zuko winning and taking Aang into the cold. You and Kaito tried to keep up with Zuko but the snow went passed up to your knees making it extremely hard for you to even walk. You and Kaito continued anyway.

"Your boyfriend is an idiot" Kaito commented

You sighed, "I know but he's my idiot" you told him, Kaito nodded in understanding.

(Zuko)

You found a cave in the middle of the snowy tundra. You put the avatar down and made a fire to keep warm. You weren't even thinking about taking the avatar back to your father, all you wanted to do was be with kana and now that she found kaito, you knew she would want to go home again, you looked at Aang.

"I finally have you, but I can't even go home because of this blizzard. I don't even know if I want to go home," you mumbled. "There's no way Kana would come to the fire nation with me, when she could go home and get back to her normal life" you sighed. "Theirs always something. Not that you would understand. You're like my sister. Everything comes easy to her. She's a firebending prodigy and everyone adores her. My father says she was born lucky, he says I was lucky to be born. I don't need luck, I don't want it, I've had to struggle and that's what made me strong. Its made me who I am" you sighed again " I'm so pathetic, I don't even know why Kana would love someone like me" you whispered the last part.

You shivered wishing you could just hold Kana, without her in your arms, you just felt lost and cold.

Aang's friends Katara, Sokka, and Yue picked you and Kaito up on Appa, you had to admit it was pretty cool to fly, you liked it much better than being on a ship.

Finally a small fire drew your attention, you knew it had to be Zuko. Before you reached Zuko he was knocked out by Aang. You ran to him, falling into the snow next to his motionless form, you tried but failed to wake him.

"Zuko please wake up" you whispered as tears formed in your eyes.

"Come on Aang we need to get back" Sokka said

Aang looked between you and zuko and his friends. "Wait we can't just leave them here" the young air bender finally said.

"Sure we can, let's go!" Sokka said brightly.

"That's my sister dumbass" Kaito said angrily, in his bear-like voice.

"No" Aang said. "If we leave them they'll die"

Kaito walked over and picked up the unresponsive prince. You wiped the tears from your eyes as you climbed onto Appa after kaito.

As Appa took off Sokka mumbled, "sure, yeah this makes sense lets bring that guy who's constantly trying to kill us, and lets bring his girlfriend too"

You sat down with your knees under you; kaito put zuko down so his head was in your lap. Looking at zuko you realized how much you disliked his ponytail but you ignored that and hoped that he would wake up soon.

Once you got back to the city, everyone left you and Zuko in the spirit oasis because Zhao's invasion had begun. A few minutes later Zuko woke up, he clutched his head in pain as he sat up.

"Hey sleepy" you said

"What happened?"

"You got knocked out and Aang brought us back here"

Zuko nodded and stood up, you stood up with him. Suddenly Zuko pulled you into his arms and kissed your lips passionately. As he pulled away he said "I love you kana," you weren't expecting that but you weren't complaining.

"I love you too," you said as a soft blush crept across your cheeks.

You and Zuko ran through the city, Zuko looking for Aang and you looking for Kaito. Instead you found Zhao.

"Well if it isn't Prince Zuko and kana, I knew your uncle was lying when he said you were dead." Zhao said.

"I don't want to hear it Zhao, lets just fight" Zuko said as he got into a fighting stance.

The two fought seemingly unaware that Aang was now a giant water monster thing. The waterbenders bowed to Aang. The fire nation soldiers were pulled into the water where most drowned. The monster skipped you and Zuko and began to take Zhao. Against his better judgment and out of the goodness of his heart, Zuko reached for Zhao to save his life. Zhao pulled his hand away and drowned.

You walked over to zuko. "To be honest I'm glad he's gone" you said bluntly.

Zuko laughed, "I love you" he said with a smile

"I love you too," you said as he wrapped his arms around you.

"Aw so cute" Kaito said.

You and Zuko blushed. "So what now?" you asked

"Actually, both of you need to get out of here quick, the water tribe, is capturing the remaining firebenders without discrimination" Kaito said sadly. "I found your uncle" he said to zuko. "He's on a raft, I can take you to him"

The three of you ran to where Iroh was waiting. Zuko got onto the raft. You hugged your brother tightly.

"Don't worry little sis, I'm going to the earth kingdom as soon as this place is cleaned up, we'll be together again in Ba-Sing-Se, we'll find Daisuke and go home" Kaito said as tears formed in his eyes.

"Be safe big brother" you said sadly.

"Aw god, I told myself I wasn't gonna cry" Kaito said as he started crying.

Zuko gave you an is-he-serious- look, you smiled and said, "Kaito may be big enough to pass for a bear but he's really just a big softie"

You said goodbye to your brother and got onto the raft. Kaito waved until you could no longer see him.

Zuko wrapped his arms around you and rested his chin on your shoulder. he sensed your worry and said "don't worry kana, I'll protect you, everything will be alright"

"Thank you" you sighed as you hugged him

The two of you sat down, you leaned on your hand and sat with your legs off to the side.

"I'm tired" Zuko said suddenly he looked exhausted.

"You should rest Prince Zuko" Iroh said.

Zuko lay down with his head on your lap, you smiled at him as you lightly traced his scar, zuko closed his eyes and smiled, he finally looked relaxed.
