The boat stopped at a train station where in about an hour, the train would bring you to the inner walls of Ba-Sing-Se. You, Zuko, and Iroh sat in a shady spot near a wall as you waited for the train. You rested your head on Zuko's shoulder; he pulled you a bit closer by wrapping an arm around you and resting his head on yours.

You noticed Smellerbee, so you waved to her; she waved back with a big smile then ran off, probably to find Longshot and Jet.

"Made a friend?" Zuko questioned lightly.

"Yeah she's a sweet kid, I told her we'd hangout in Ba-Sing-Se" you said as you cuddled a bit closer. Zuko nodded, he was glad that you made a friend.

After a few moments you spoke up "I'm actually really excited to go to Ba-Sing-Se, it will be nice to not have to constantly leave for a while."

"As long as we don't attract too much attention" Zuko said, you know that he's really nervous; paranoid that someone will figure out who are you are and the three of you will have to run off again.

"Relax Zuko you worry too much" you said teasingly.

"I worry too much? You're the one who cut her hair so she wouldn't be recognized." Zuko said playfully.

"You really miss my long hair?" you questioned.

Zuko nodded "it suits you, you're gorgeous regardless of how your hair looks, it just seemed like the long hair suits you" Zuko said as he gently ran his fingers up and down your side.

You smiled "I'll let my hair grow out"

Zuko smiled back and leaned in to capture your lips in a kiss.

Meanwhile Iroh was ordering tea. He took a sip, "uk! This is the worst tea I've ever tasted and its cold!" Iroh said completely outraged.

"Uncle don't make a scene" Zuko said then went back to focusing on you.

Iroh warmed his tea with his firebending. You noticed. "Iroh" you scolded. It's definitely not safe to firebender here.

"Uncle, what if someone noticed" Zuko hissed as he knocked the tea out of Iroh's hands, and it spilled all over.

"I just wanted to enjoy my tea" Iroh said defiantly, his mood quickly changed, "I know you're not suppose to cry over spilled tea" he sniffed, "It's just so sad"

Zuko slapped his forehead and you giggled at the whole situation.

(Jet's Pov)

"I knew it they're firebenders!" you told Smellerbee and Longshot.

"Why? Because Iroh is drinking tea" Smellerbee questioned in disbelief.

"He heated it himself!"

"Jet you need to stop! You said we would live normal lives!"

"Have you forgotten what the fire nation has done to us!? I'll prove that they're fire nation!"

(Kana's POV)

The train arrived and you found yourself sitting next to a couple with a newborn. You smiled "Hey there little one" you said to the baby as she reached for your finger. "what's her name?" you asked the proud parents.

"We named her Hope" the mother said with a bright smile. You smiled back.

"Such a beautiful name" Iroh chimed in.

"You can hold her if you like?" the mother offered.

"Oh, I've never held a baby before" you said nervously.

"Its alright" the mother said as she explained how to hold a baby. Eventually she handed you little Hope, you cradled Hope's tiny figure in your arms "see you're doing just fine" the mother said encouragingly.

You smiled brightly and turned to Zuko, "look Lee" you said in excitement.

(Zuko's Pov)

You turned and looked at Kana, she was holding a baby; you couldn't help but smile and wonder if you and Kana would ever have a child. You mused about the idea for a moment then pushed the thought away, after all you and Kana are only sixteen. You have plenty of time before you'll want to start a family. Though you couldn't help but smile as you thought of what it would be like to have a family with Kana.

After a while Kana handed the baby back to its mother. Kana seemed to be a natural with kids.

"You seem distracted" Kana said as she playfully pushed you. "what's on your mind?" she asked curiously.

"Its nothing, all you need to know is that I love you" you said as you relaxed and put your arm around Kana, resting your hand on her waist.

Kana smiled "I suppose you'll tell me eventually" she sighed with a smile "and I love you too"

(Kana's pov)

By nightfall the three of you walked into your new home a slightly run down apartment with one decent sized living room/kitchen, one small bathroom and a small bedroom.

"Isn't this place charming?" Iroh said.

You looked around it seemed very uninviting.

"It's a wreck," Zuko said rather bluntly.

You hugged him and rested your head on his shoulder. "We'll just have to make the most of it" you said.

Zuko sighed. You could tell that he was unhappy about the living conditions. Iroh let you and zuko have the bedroom. You decided to go to bed early. All the traveling made you very tired. You quickly put your dual swords against the wall, and put your three spare changes of clothes in the dresser. You brushed your hair and soon laid down on the sleeping mat. It was not comfortable at all.

Zuko came in a short while later and noticed that you're still awake. "Did I wake you?" he asked as he prepared for bed.

"No I wasn't asleep yet" you replied with a yawn.

After a few minutes, Zuko laid down next to you and pulled you into his arms, you shifted so you're facing him with your head resting on his shoulder. He softly trailed his fingers up and down your sides causing you to shiver slightly.

Zuko still seemed upset "Zuko stop worrying about the living conditions, it's better than sleeping outside" you said softly.

He sighed, "I know, I just wanted to give you a better place to live, I mean you must miss your home"

You giggled softly and kiss his cheek "silly, as long as I'm with you I'm perfectly fine here" you said between innocent kisses.

"Kana I love you" Zuko said as he leaned in to kiss your lips.

As you pulled away you replied " I love too, silly" you returned to laying next him except now your back is towards him so you can be as close as possible. Zuko wrapped his arms around you and rested his head behind yours.

"So what are our plans for tomorrow?" you asked

"Look for the avatar and your brothers" Zuko replied simply. Though he still seemed upset.

"Is something wrong?" you asked.

"I wasn't finished kissing you" Zuko said with a mischievous smirk. You giggled as he attacked your neck with soft kisses. He kissed up you neck to your lips, slowly turning your bodies so he was leaning over you slightly. Zuko kissed you passionately, which you gladly returned with just as much passion. He licked your bottom lip asking for entrance, which you almost instantly granted. His tongue explored your mouth as the kiss deepened. Zuko's hands began to wander. You couldn't help but wonder what's gotten into him but you were enjoying his kisses way too much. The two of you spent most of the kissing and exploring each other's bodies, both of you slightly nervous and scared of the other's reaction, but with every moment it only proved that you two are meant to be.
