Author's Note:
I am in a really busy period at the moment so I hope this really long chapter will carry you over the next two weeks when it is unlikely I'll be able to update.
Bear with me, I will be updating when I can and often when I have the least time, I sneak in some writing to reset my mind, so it might be earlier. Please enjoy.
Ana's POV
I am so thankful that I am not alone in trying to prepare for the Coping Together gala because as the professionals work on me and the layers of artifice are laid on, I begin to realise I may be able to hide behind it all and therefore hopefully be able to cope. In my natural state, I don't know if I could face it at all and I think I would have made some excuse to beg off from attending if I'd been left to my own devices.
I know that Christian knows who I am and his beautiful family have accepted me as I am, the new haircut, the makeup and the mask will hopefully hide everything else, the insecurities and the fear of the crowds, of being exposed to the whole world as I imagine there will be considerable interest in the fact that Christian has someone on his arm. I know that a photograph was taken at my graduation but I was graduating and it could be brushed off as simply him presenting my certificate because I was in the wheelchair and nothing much has come of it that I know but tonight he will be stepping out with me as his partner and the thought chills me to the bones.
The last layers of waterproof makeup are applied, it was a specific request as I asked Christian what the Coping Together charity actually does and then was in tears when he struggled to explain without closing down how it would possibly have saved his mother's life and the torment he went through, each word whispered as he shook with the emotion of it all. I know if they discuss the charity's works tonight, I will be blubbering and so my makeup has to be able to handle it.
I'm glad that I have enough movement with my crutches to be able to collect all my bits and pieces, the beautiful lingerie, the silk stockings, I shake my head sadly at the fact that the left leg stocking is going to look silly over the cast but it will help the dress drape a little better and I am sure that Christian will like the feel of them at some point in the night. At least I hope he does and the thought of his hands on me adds a rosy highlight to my cheeks as I quickly dress, feeling extra sexy at the feeling of the almost there thong and matching lacy bra that manages with its tiny scraps of material to enhance my assets. The dress drapes down beautifully, the pleats hiding all my flaws and lengthening my body, it would have been lovely to wear with sky high heels but my Snoopy sneakers will have to do and at least I should be able to walk for a bit tonight without the crutches.
Just as Gail finishes lacing up the back for me, accentuating my waist and smoothing it out so that all the criss-crosses lie just so, smooth to the touch and tied tightly so there won't be a wardrobe mis-function during the night, there is a knock on the door and Gail calls out, "Just a minute please," and then gives me a squeeze and looks at me, "Believe me Ana, you are beautiful, have fun tonight," and all I can do is nod to her as the tears threaten to fall. She stops for a second and looks at me, shaking her head with a sad smile and then gives me a proper hug, "Mr Grey will look after you don't worry, I don't think he'll want to be anywhere but right by your side all night."
With that, Gail opens the door and Christian is standing there and while acknowledging Gail with a nod, he whispers "Oh my! Baby, you are a vision" he says gulping and looking stunned and somehow super proud, it is with reverence that when he reaches me that he touches me as if he doesn't believe what he is seeing in front of him and in truth, I can't believe the magic that has been wrought.
"Do you like it?" I ask nervously as he is simply staring at me.
"Ana! Seriously? Like it? I love it. You are gorgeous and this has made you more you than you" he says taking both my hands in his and willing me to see it with his eyes. "Baby, when will you believe you are gorgeous? What do I have to do?"
I disentangle my hands and throw them around his neck, he looks gorgeous himself in his tuxedo and I just need to feel him and he lowers his mouth to mine barely touching so as to not ruin the makeup, he breathes against my lips "You are gorgeous baby, and you are mine," and then pulls me in tight. Out of the corner of my eye I see Gail disappear with a smile on her face.
"Ana, I have something for you." He says finally when he pulls reluctantly away and he takes a Cartier pouch from his pocket and with two hands he places it in mine to open and with trembling fingers I open it and gasp, almost dropping it in shock. I look up at him, unable to form words and he says gently, "Can I put it on you?" and while I am scared to even touch it, I nod and he picks it up places it round my neck, clasping it shut and dropping a kiss on my nape for good measure.
I am still speechless as I move in front of the mirror and tentatively touch the gift; it is beyond beautiful and is probably worth more than Ray's house. A necklace with a row of twenty-two oval-cut sapphires, each spaced by a cluster of four pear-cut diamonds, with a principal sapphire over a row of five pear-cut diamonds all mounted in platinum now lies around my neck, glistening as I move.
Finally I find my voice, "Christian, I can't wear this" I say desperately looking at him, as his face falls I say, "It is beyond beautiful but it's too much," and his expression changes and he laughs.
"No baby, it's not enough, you are worth the world to me, this is just a trifling," and he waves his hand dismissively and I set my jaw, I can't believe what I am hearing after having struggled for all those years.
I say quietly, "Well, you've never existed on minute noodles and had to struggle to find the money for rent then," even I am disappointed that I am bringing the mood down but I feel I have to say something about his extravagance.
Having been intently watching my face, he sits down on the edge of the dresser, drawing me in between his legs as he does, "Baby, I've known poverty and hunger and I never want to go back there, you know that," and I feel awful and my hand flies up to my mouth, how could I forget. Before I can say anything though, he smiles shyly and says "Now when I treasure someone I want to show them, don't make this so hard for me please. I have something else for you."
I drop my hand and just stare at him and with a chuckle he withdraws a smaller Cartier box opening it so I can see what's inside. "These go with the necklace" he says smirking, "I couldn't leave them behind" and my mouth drops open at the beautiful, matching drop earrings.
Proffering my ears, he slides them in and then removes himself from in front of the mirror and I can't believe how beautiful they are and how they bring out the blue of the dress and compliment my eyes, it is quite simply the most stunning finishing touch for the outfit. His smile in the mirror behind me is tentative, like he is still unsure of my reaction and fair enough given my outburst so I turn around and slip my hands up onto his shoulders and whisper huskily into his ear, "Thank you, I love them but not as much as I love you. You know you don't need to give me anything, all I want is you."
With that his face splits into a grin and he puts his hands on my waist and I can tell is about to swing me around when he remembers my injuries and simply crushes me to him again, his obvious delight radiates from him, "Let's go, there are some people downstairs that want to see you and wish you well otherwise we won't leave this room and you'll miss out on being the belle of the ball." I look at him with a smile, oh that is so tempting but he shakes his head grinning back at me and helps me out the door.
With Christian supporting my left side because I don't want him to carry me and so that I don't need to use the crutch, we make our way slowly to the stairs and while I am concentrating on not falling down the stairs, I fail to notice that there is anyone standing there until I hear a gasp and look up to see Ray, Welch and Taylor standing at the bottom of the stairs. Seeing the two normally stoic security men with smiles and Ray looking so overwhelmed nearly has me tripping down the last few stairs.
"Oh baby girl, you are beautiful," Ray breathes as he reaches me and helps me down the last step, "You look so much better, you're almost walking by yourself" and I love that he has picked that as the thing he's happiest about, not that I look like a million dollars and Christian has spent an inordinate amount on me but the fact that I am almost better is what is important to Ray and I love him all the more.
He places a light kiss on my cheek and looks both sad and proud as he clears his throat and says, "You're all grown up now Annie, enjoy the night, be careful," then he fixes Christian with a stern look, "Look after her Christian," and at Christian's nod he adds, "Because you know she's going to overdo it and say she's fine" and gives me a small lopsided smile as I lightly cuff his shoulder, he knows me well.
As Ray steps back to allow us to walk past, Welch smiles at me and then moves to Ray's side and claps his arm around his shoulder and I hope that he'll keep him company for a while. "Daddy are you staying?" and he smiles and says, "No I just came past to see how you were doing and I'll head home after a drink with Welch, call me Monday after your first day and let me know how you go, ok?" and I kiss him and say goodnight and we head out. Taylor carrying my crutches leaves before us to ready the car and Christian and I enter the elevator alone with my heart now thumping a rhythm that I am sure is audible to Christian as the enormity of the ball looms before me.
As we enter the elevator, Christian hands me another pouch saying quickly at my look of horror, "It's just the mask that Mia picked out for you, she's been dying to see you for days," and I smile as Mia in the last few days would have been overwhelming but she has done a beautiful job with the mask, it is a beautiful venetian style mask with silver and royal blue base decorated with sliver glitter and silver braid around the edge of the mask, it has top feathers and has beautiful silk ribbon tie backs. It is simply divine and I surreptitiously pinch myself to see if I am really awake but Christian sees me and laughs, saying seriously, albeit with a twinkle in his eye, "Believe it baby, this is all real and you will be the most beautiful person at the ball."
Taylor is the perfect shadow all night, holding my crutches as we walk past the official photographers so that the best looking photo could be taken, I looked up at Christian just as he looked down to me, the photographer captured the most loving expression, it doesn't matter that we are both wearing masks, the emotion is more than evident on Christian's face mirroring what I am feeling for him, I really want a copy of the photo and Christian is quick to request the digital copies of the photos.
My fear increases though as we approach the main marquee but Grace is there to welcome us and throws her arms around me, a huge smile on her face as she looks between us and she doesn't let me go when she shows us to the table. "Ana, dear, I know this might be overwhelming but we will all look out for you, oh, it's so lovely to see you here, you are by far the most beautiful girl here."
At this point there is a giggle from behind her and it is the quietest I have ever seen Mia approach and her mother smiles as she throws her other arm around her and says, "Well, you are the two most beautiful girls here."
Mia then shrugs away from her mother and throws her arms around me squeezing until Christian clears his throat annoyed and Mia jumps back and apologises, "Oh I'm sorry Ana, you always hide how sore you actually are, I completely forget, are you ok?" At my positive response she stares at me and says, can you walk now by yourself?" and then without waiting for the response says "Excellent, will you do the first dance auction with me?"
I turn to Christian to ask if that is a good idea and he is just looking indulgently at his sister and nods so I shrug and say "Ok".
I am actually enjoying the night, Grace's parents are a hoot and Christian's grandmother has me holding my side from laughing and Christian keeps the walking to a minimum by doing a quick run around mingling with the guests after spotting John Flynn and waving him over to sit with me. He made sure I was never left by myself and he spared me the pain of walking around just so that he could fulfil his "hob-nobbing" duties as he affectionately started calling it, my inability to remember the correct term of "networking" when we had discussed it during the week had had him in stitches.
I am at a loss during some of the money making activities and when I look uncomfortable he says simply and with distaste, "Everyone here can afford to solve all the problems at once if they just dipped into their pockets but we have to go through the charade of allowing them to make it a visible and well photographed event so that they open up their wallets. Don't worry; our contribution has already been made."
The night is moving smoothly and we are relaxing, Christian's arm across my shoulder, his fingers absentmindedly toying with my arm when the live auction of items is called and I look down the list of items marvelling at how magnificent each item looks, and I point with distaste to the item from Esclava. Christian looks at me for a moment and then says calmly with a small smile , "The new owners donated that."
The next item down draws my attention, "Do you own property in Aspen?" I say it casually wondering at exactly how much Christian must be worth and he looks questioningly at my expression, I guess, I am not hiding what I am thinking.
"Yes and there is an apartment in New York" he whispers quietly, "And we can go anytime you want, the jet is always ready at our disposal."
He doesn't understand as I shake my head and say "I'll never get used to that" but tightens his grip on me and pulls me in closer and I readily accept the warmth of his body as I lean into him and rest my head on his shoulder and the smile on his face warms me from the inside as well. I can't help but notice his grandmother's happy face as she leans over to say something to Grace who then looks at us and has the happiest smile on her face at our interaction.
I listen with interest when Christian's donation of the weekend in Aspen suddenly is subject to a bit of a bidding war and it is ultimately won by a guest in a full face mask for $30,000 and Christian straightens in his seat and asks his mother, "Who is that?" and his mother shrugs and says she doesn't know who it is.
As soon as all the bidding is concluded, Christian leaves the table to determine who the mystery bidder was and before I know what is happening, both Taylor and Sawyer are stationed either side of me and at my startled glance, Taylor leans down to hand me my crutches and says quietly, "Mr Grey has asked that I inform you that he will be returning for you in a minute and to be ready to leave at a moment's notice." I simply nod as I can't trust my voice, my heart is beating a rapid tattoo in my chest and Taylor offers his hand and I gratefully accept it, standing just as Christian appears.
Christian has a terse word with his father who nods and abruptly pushes himself back from the table, leaning to kiss Grace and whisper something in her ear and then Christian is at my side and looks at the crutches and says to Sawyer, "You take them, we are going to Dad's office," and with that Sawyer walks off with Carrick and Taylor melds into the crowd and Christian walks me out calmly although I can feel the tenseness of the muscles in his arm as he bears my weight.
I know enough of Christian to know that something that threatens our safety has just happened and I clasp his hand a little tighter and he looks down and squeezes it to provide some consolation and then with a small grin he says, "We'd move quicker if you let me carry you," and for a second the smile is back in his eyes and I simply nod and squeeze his hand.
"But that would create a scene and you wouldn't want that." I say simply and smile sweetly at him and to be honest, I am so scared at the moment that if he really wanted to, I'd be happy for him to do it.
"We're almost there, you'd doing beautifully baby, no-one but you would look graceful with all your injuries, I keep forgetting but you know you should still be laid up in bed, you're doing just fine." With that, we are in Carrick's office and Taylor is standing there at the ready with a chair for me to sink into while Christian closes and locks the door.
"Ok, the person who just bid on the weekend in Aspen was an unknown guest, the name on the bidding sheet and the check had the name Carla Adams," and I gasp.
"My mother?" I manage to squeeze out in horror, "But that wasn't my mother bidding." I state in confusion and Christian is behind me, his hands gentle on my shoulders and then he sinks down next to me.
His voice gentle, "I know Baby, it was most definitely a man and I assume," he says looking sharply at Taylor, "that someone is looking at the security vision to try and determine who he is, he must have come in under an invitation and we have to figure out that link. We do know that as soon as the auction was finished, he reached the table, put down the check and left. He was seen leaving so he is no longer here but we don't know who he was, baby, can you remember anything that Carla said last week about tonight?"
I shake my head sadly, wishing I had been paying more attention to Carla and talked to her longer, "All she said was "Enjoy the gala on Saturday. She really didn't say anything else and because I was so upset with her I didn't ask why she knew about the gala, I just didn't want to talk to her anymore. I'm sorry."
"It's ok. We have been trying to track down her volunteer that you said she called Jackie as well and we haven't had any success in doing that either," and the look of frustration that passes across his face has Taylor shifting on his feet.
"We'll be tracking the check and hopefully we'll determine something from that and ultimately, I'd assume that whoever it is will want to actually go to Aspen and the staff can be security personnel so we'll find out who they are. I just want to make sure you're safe."
As Christian finishes talking, Taylor says "The perpetrator was seen driving away, we have the detail of the vehicle to ensure it does not return tonight however the plates are faked and so there is something definitely suspicious, not simply another Carla Adams that has happened to be a guest tonight."
Carrick then pipes up with "Look boys, you can figure the mystery out but we all need to go back out there, I don't see any risk to either of you and the next two events need you out there Christian."
This earns an exasperated snort from Christian, "Fuck Dad, I don't care about that, Ana needs to be safe and the fact that they did this in Carla's name is very strange, it's like someone is trying to tell us something and the only ones that could be are Carla or Elena who was Carla's friend."
Just then Christian's phone rings, "Yes Mia, I know, …. Yes, we're in Dad's office…..I know. Ok Ok, we'll be out in five minutes…. Ok well it will take that long for Ana to walk there. Fine, I'll carry her and she can get mad at you." As he slams the phone's off switch, he turns to me and simply lifts me up and I gather the meeting is over and he carries me out of the room, his father has a smirk on his face and Taylor stays with a neutral expression but follows us out with the crutches so that as we approach the door for the staging area, he waits until Christian has gently deposited me on my feet before proffering them and Christian helps me to make it over to an overly eager Mia.
Only then am I made aware of what the First Dance Auction is and I turn to Christian to implore him to take me out and he says simply, "Baby, it'll be fine. This is just your moment to shine," and he disappears out to the front with all the other younger men.
The auctioneer is funny and I am laughing at his descriptions of the beautiful girls before me, his clever use of words and ridiculous overstatement and definition of abilities so that I am quite relaxed when he finally makes it to me. He notes the crutches and warns the young gentlemen on the potential uses of the crutches and describes abilities I only wish I had, supposedly several languages, ability to swim like a mermaid and musical prowess that would put Christian to shame. The audience is laughing as he concludes and the bids come fast in the lower range and then someone from the back in the shadows sings out with $20,000 and I watch Christian tense and respond with $50,000.
I watch as one of the security staff quietly makes their way over towards the bidder who quickly lifts the bid to $ 60,000 and I am so embarrassed and worried, I don't want Christian spending this money simply to dance with me, I would dance with him every day for free. Even though I know the money is going to charity, it makes me very uneasy but more so is the fact that the mystery bidder is freaking me out but Christian's jaw is set and $150,000 rings out to a collective gasp, mine perhaps the loudest. Everyone turns to look at the under bidder but thankfully he shakes his head and indicates that he is out so the auctioneer with great excitement announces Christian as the winner and I watch the security walk the under bidder out and Christian bounds up to the stage and simply picks me up in a carrying hold and swings me around.
I laugh at the cute smile on his face and the fact that he's swept me up and shown my Snoopy sneakers to the world, this fact seems to put more smiles on faces but I can see that his has a strained edge and he shakes his head and holds me tighter when I ask, "Do we know who was bidding against you?".
The MC then announces that there is a change in proceedings compared to how the gala is normally run and that the first dance will occur straight away and Christian's shoulders relax and he puts me down, questioning how I am feeling.
"I feel about $150,000" I say, "I was going to say I feel like a million dollars" and Christian lets out his first actual laugh all day, and sweeps me into his arms, making sure that all my injuries were adequately supported and kisses me there for everyone to see and he doesn't care. It is so obvious he doesn't care that anyone is watching and it is that gay abandon that takes the night to a new level and I can't wipe the grin from my face as we dance the first dance. He is such a magnificent dancer that he manages to make me, the two left feet dancer who has no useful feet and can't twist and can't really bend at the moment, still look graceful and there is no doubting his love tonight, it just oozes from him.
When the second dance is called, Carrick asks if he may so that Christian can dance with Grace and with a worried look, Christian hands me over with a list of instructions of what he should and shouldn't do. Carrick just smiles indulgently at him and carefully dances with me, the slowest of movements and again, like his son, manages to both protect me and make me look graceful.
One more dance with Christian and I have reached my limit but don't want to say anything, he however simply dances us towards the door, looking down at me the whole way, increasing the level of support, bending down to whisper, "You were supposed to tell me if it was getting too much." I simply smile and shrug, why would I want to be out of his arms, the most comfortable place on earth for me?
By the time he makes it to the door, the auctioneer excitedly announces the amount raised for the night with Christian's massive bid has reached two million dollars and the crowd erupts again and no-one notices us leaving.
Christian again picks me up saying simply, "I've got a special place to show you" and takes off up the stairs, straight through the second floor and up to the third floor to a nondescript white door, opening the door I peer in to see a bedroom, an obvious boy's bedroom and he says shyly, "I'd never taken a girl into my bedroom at Escala and definitely never managed to get a girl into here." My heart tears a little at the obvious past messes of his life and so I loop my hands around his neck again and pull his head down to mine. I feel his smile against my lips as he carries me in, closing and locking the door while not stopping for a second and then sits on the edge of the bed with me across his lap, resting my cast on the bed.
When we finally come up for air, he says, "I thought we could watch the fireworks from here. I used to be too scared to go down and watch the fireworks so mom changed the location so that I'd be able to see them from up here and she has always kept the location the same so we get the full effect and more actually as she'd always make sure the bursts happened at this window height." I adore how his love and reverence for his mother emanates from every word he says about her, how she considered his needs even when he couldn't articulate them and I can imagine the scared little boy who desperately wanted to see the fireworks. As tears rise, Christian notices, "Baby, what's the matter, are you sore?"
I hiccup laugh and shake my head, "I was just imagining.."
Realisation dawns and he states, "Mom is an angel and I could never thank her enough but enough about that," and with that he pulls up the pillows into a pile and lies back helping me up next to him and he curls around me, breathing softly into my ear, "I love you babe, thank you."
I don't know what for and so I shuffle myself so I am lying, my head on his arm, my body immobile flushed right against his and he leisurely runs his hand down my side and then down my leg, massaging as he goes until he suddenly stops and in a hushed voice asks "Are they stockings I feel?" and as I nod, he shakes his head and says "Oh this I have to see, with Snoopy sneakers?" It's the closest thing to a giggle from him that I have ever heard as he lifts the bottom of the dress up and caresses up from above the high-top to the suspender belt.
"Girl, you are gorgeous and the most intriguing person I have ever met," he says as he looks at me, his hand toying with the suspender belt and then moving gently upwards gently kneading as he goes. I'm drowning in his eyes and then he leans forward to kiss my mouth, he caresses my tongue with his and runs it along my jawline until he reaches and takes my earlobe in his mouth. Absorbing the sensation that floods through me, his kisses as they make their way down my neck, alternate between being scorching and reverential breaths of air and I find myself nestled in the pillows, they are holding me in place so nothing is hurting and I can simply enjoy his ministrations.
I hear the chuckle as Christian reaches my breasts, "Who chose this dress? There is no way for me to get to you, was that the plan?" I laugh, shaking my head and he continues, "Baby are you happy to stay here tonight? We can watch the fireworks, stay the night and then have breakfast and lunch with Mom, Dad and Mia and then go home?" The idea sounds fantastic, I am so exhausted that if it wasn't for Christian keeping me occupied, I'd be struggling to stay awake, so I smile and agree and while his hand is still stroking my hair, he pulls out his phone and informs Taylor of our change of plans.
"Well, that's organised, let's get you out of this dress," and I smile at his eagerness as he helps me sit up so that he can access the shoelace design on the back, his hands make quick work of it and he gently lifts the dress over my head, my body is hidden as he does so and when he turns back he gasps and his eyes light up.
"Oh baby, I wish you'd believe me, you are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen," he lies me back down on the pillows, his legs on either side of mine as he makes sure I am completely supported, his hands reverentially, move up from the top of the stockings, the cheeky grin as he takes in the scraps of material that are covering my modesty lights up his face and then he is back to where he was a few minutes before.
After a feather like kiss on my lips which I try and deepen, he starts back at my jawline, his mouth moves down tracing a line of fire where it touches until he reaches the top of my scaffold bra where my breasts are straining for release. He chuckles, as he opens his mouth and clamps down over the scrap of lace onto one of my now very needy nipples, sending a surge of hormones through me while one hand moves across to gently caress the other side and his other hand moves down to squeeze my behind.
He continues at a lazy pace leaving hot wet kisses which have me wanting to writhe but my body doesn't move and I realise he is somehow maintaining his position on the pillows so that I cannot move but without putting any pressure on my body, allowing me to enjoy it all. I lie still willing my body to control itself because I don't want to show him any pain, I can see him looking up at me, not only seeing if I am enjoying it but I am sure checking to see that I am ok.
As his mouth reaches the tiny scraps holding my now very moist modesty, he stops and I raise my eyebrows, "Baby, why are you still wearing your shoes?" and we both start laughing, I had totally forgotten about the shoes and I desperately wish I wasn't still wearing the cast. Thankfully it hadn't slowed us down too much tonight at the gala but I know what the doctor told him, even though he thinks I didn't hear.
Christian removes my shoe and peels off the stockings, taking great delight in rubbing his hands up and down and tickling me behind the knee, he then starts from my toes, kissing and nibbling the instep until I giggle and beg him to stop, not only does it tickle but I won't be able to stop moving if he does that and I want him back where he'd reached. His irrepressible smile makes the kisses up my thigh less sexy, more fun especially when he decides to poke out his tongue and lick me but when he reaches the apex he stops again and I groan "Oh …. You're not fair."
I speak too soon as he does what he did earlier, a full heated mouth clamp that actually makes me jerk and he pulls away, concern written all over his face, "Ana you have to keep still or I can't do this to you, I'll hurt you." I am shattered and without a hesitation he is back near my face cradling me, "Baby, don't cry, we'll get there" and I can feel his erection pressing me even though he is entirely unaware that it is doing so as he tries to calm me down.
As he strokes my hair, a clock in the room strikes midnight and almost immediately there is a loud boom outside the window and a huge firework goes off, lighting the room and I am shocked out of my pity party as I watch in wonder as the rockets go off in time with a perfectly timed soundtrack of music that sounds very much like Christian's favorites. Huge fountains of lights shooting up into the air from the pontoon out on the water are joined by more exploding rockets and I am mesmerised.
I can hear the crowds oohs and ahhs and I am soon joining them, Christian holding me safe and secure as I enjoy the show, beautiful kaleidoscopes of colour, columns and swirls, it is all simply beautiful and when I turn to look at him, his eyes are glowing, his mouth turned up in a smile. "I love seeing you smiling baby, I asked mom for a special finale, it will be here soon, enjoy it, this last sequence is all for you."
I turn back towards the window still amazed that he would do that for me and I don't realise he has moved until Christian is once again attending to me, his mouth warm but this time a quick movement has repositioned the scraps and his mouth is directly on me and I gasp but his arms hold me so there is no movement. I am torn by the desire to see what he is doing, especially as his face is now changing in the shadows to the colours of the fireworks, making him look like a half man, half demon and watching the fireworks chosen for me.
He growls, "Watch the fireworks and enjoy, Ana" and I decide that watching the window will help me control my body whilst feeling the fireworks building up inside me. His tongue laps me, and is soon followed by his thumb setting up an enticing pattern of pressure and presence, that pushes me ever close to the edge. As the fireworks fire up to a crescendo of white lights tumbling across the sky and exploding outside the window, Christian plunges two fingers inside me, joining his tongue and the pressing thumb to set up an internal inferno.
Between them all as the final explosion happens lighting up the sky with the words, "From Coping Together, Thank You, With Special Thanks to Ana" I am in shock and my body explodes. I am totally lost and overwhelmed, I close my eyes as my head bucks back and Christian buries his head, holding my torso with his spare arm and legs with his body and absorbing any movement and letting the waves of pleasure wash over me, prolonging them with a soft suckle as I come down. Kissing my body he reaches my face to find tears, sheer overwhelmed, overcome, full of love tears and at his concern, I shake my head and attempt a smile through the ugly cry and he whispers "Happy Tears?" and all I can do is nod as I bury my face in his shoulder.
"Oh Ana, you are magnificent" he says huskily in my hair, his body pressed against mine as we lie on the bed, my hand caught between us, awkwardly cupping his massive erection, "The doctor said we have to wait until your cast is off and that's probably a month away but baby, your body is so responsive, I can't wait to show you how good you are. Baby…? Why are you hiding?"
I don't know, the impact of the fireworks, the magnificent orgasm, now the talk of another month and not to mention the whole gala and what happened out there today with the mystery bidders, all I want to do is sleep but I want to please him and I feel like crying again until he lifts my face up from his shoulder and says "Baby you look exhausted, time for sleep babe," and gently moves my hand to my side, smirking as he does so.
"What about you?" I manage to say, looking at him even as my eyelids droop.
Taking my face in his hands he gently nibbles on my lip and then covers my mouth with his, removing any doubt that he was happy, "Babe I can wait, that was more than enough reward for me, you are gorgeous, you need to trust me and if you don't, I'll just repeat it every night as you fall asleep so it is the last thing you hear and maybe one day you'll believe it. Goodnight Gorgeous."
