Sorry I didn't update yesterday I had a family thing and then i got really into writing and revising the Jack Frost story i've been writing. Just wanted to say thank you again for all of the reviews i've decided to start answering them before the the story just because sometime the reviewers have questions. If you don't want to read it just skip to the unbolded text.

pokemonjkl- Thanks for being an awesome reader! you''ve reviewed the most, it really appreciate it.

spatterson- I'm not really sure what you're asking me you're going to have to explain it a bit more, if i can help i'd be happy to.

yoohooha- Then i hope i'm doing the invasion justice. I always have a bit of trouble writing parts that are from episodes. Kana and Zuko will see each other in a few chapters, you'll just have to wait and see.

As you were running back to Aang's army you fought a few fire nation soldiers on your way to find Katara but it was nothing you couldn't handle.

"Where the hell have you been?!" Katara yelled at you as you approached.

You simply ignored her question and asked, "What do you want me to do?"

"Take out those soldiers" she said pointing to a group of soldiers heading your way. You nodded and easily took them out. As you were returning to Katara and Hakoda, Aang landed near you.

"Please tell me you're here because the firelord was a big wimp and you didn't need the eclipse to take him down," Sokka said sarcastically.

"He wasn't home, no one was, the entire palace city was deserted" Aang said, you frowned.

"They knew" Sokka said hopelessly.

"It's over. The Fire Lord is probably long-gone; far away on some remote island where he'll be safe during the eclipse." Aang said.

"No." Sokka said. "My instincts tell me he wouldn't go too far. He would have a secret bunker; somewhere he could go and be safe during the siege but still be close enough to lead his nation."

"If its an underground secret bunker we're looking for, I'm just the girl to find it" Toph said pointing to herself"

"The mechanist gave me this timing device. It looks like we've got about ten minutes until the full eclipse. Ten minutes to find the Fire Lord." Sokka said.

"We can still do this, we can still win today" Aang said suddenly hopeful.

You've been quiet throughout the conversation, mostly because Katara has been glaring at you, you didn't expect her to trust you but you wished she would at least be civil.

"Wait! If they knew we were coming it could all be a trap." She looked at you and glared. "Maybe we should use the time we have left to make sure we all get out of here safely."

"Everyone who's here today came prepared to risk everything for this mission. They know what's at stake. If there's still a chance and there's still hope, I think they would want Aang to go for it." Hakoda said.

"I agree" you spoke up, "I know its not my place to speak but the firelord does not like people messing up his plans, if you wait it will be harder to get to him next time."

"What do you think?" Sokka asked Aang. "You're the one that has to face the Fire Lord. Whatever you decide, I'm with you."

"I've gotta try" Aang said. Then he turned to Katara, "You stay here and lead the forces, Sokka, Toph and Kana you'll come with me"

(Daisuke's POV)

The fire nation soldiers are beginning to fall back, and the eclipse is only a few minutes away. You looked up and saw Kana with Aang, Toph and Sokka flying on Appa. You were confused as to why Aang was back but didn't have the time to think about it because a few soldiers were charging at you.

"Daisuke look out!" Kaito yelled as he bent water like a whip, unfortunately the soldiers turned it into steam; you used your bending to create a hole under the soldier's feet.

"Have you guys seen Kana she's been gone for so long?" Jet asked as he approached you and Kaito.

"She's with Aang, it looks like they're heading towards the volcano" Kaito said.

"Something isn't right," you said to yourself.

Jet shielded you from a fire blast with his hook swords. "Pay attention!"

The three of you fought your way to the front lines. Forcing the soldiers back.

(Kana's POV)

"Do you feel anything down there?" Aang asked Toph.

She put her hands on the ground, "Yep, there are natural tunnels crisscrossing through the entire volcano."

"Anything else. Is there structure somewhere?" Sokka asked.

"Theirs something big dense and made of metal in the heart of the volcano"

"Sounds like a secret bunker to me!" Sokka said.

Toph was about to earth bend a hole when you stopped her, "Careful, it's too hot over here, I think theirs a natural gas pocket"

"What's so bad about that?" Sokka asked.

"Well it will ignite when it hits the air so whoever is standing near it will get burned." You said. Then directed Toph a few feet over, "here should be fine"

Toph made a tunnel and the four of you jumped in, and began running along the paths in search of the fire lord.

" This way! That way is a dead-end" Toph said.

"What would we do without you" Sokka said.

"Probably perish in burning hot magma"

"Yeah, pretty much"

You felt a subtle change in temperature; you swiftly pushed Aang and Sokka out of the way of a lava geyser that appeared in the middle of the path. Toph was stuck behind it.

"Toph! Stay still!" Sokka said.

"No, I'm going to walk into the lava" Toph said sarcastically.

You couldn't completely control the lava but you were able to hold it back long enough for Toph to jump over it.

"Its times like this that I'm glad that you're not your average firebender" Sokka said.

"Is that suppose to be a compliment?" you questioned.

"Sorry still trying to get use to the not all firebenders are evil thing" Sokka admitted.

You sighed, "I guess I'll take what I can get," you said as the four of you continued running.

(Zuko's POV)

You exhaled, "I'm ready to face you," you said as the eclipse began and you walked into your father's chamber.

(Kana's POV)

"I'm ready to face the fire lord, " Aang said as he used air bending to blast open the door.

So, you are alive after all. "Azula said. She was sitting on a throne looking bored. "I had a hunch that you survived. But it doesn't matter. I've known about the invasion for months." She said with a laugh. "And if it isn't Zuzu's little whore, did you really think he would run away with a peasant like you?"

You clenched your fists; you would not stoop to her level.

(Zuko's POV)

"Prince Zuko? What are you doing here?" Ozai asked in confusion, he was clearly angered by your presence.

"I'm here to tell the truth," you said gaining confidence with each word.

"Telling the truth during an eclipse" Ozai mumbled, "this should be interesting" he said as he put down his teacup. Then he sent all of the guards except General Sung out of the room.

You took a deep breath, "First of all, in Ba-Sing-Se, it was Azula who took down the avatar, not me"

"Now why would she lie about that?"

"Because the Avatar isn't dead, he survived"

"What?" his anger was rising. So this is where you got your bad temper from. You refuse to be like him.

"In fact he's probably leading this invasion, he could be on his way here right now," you added.

Ozai stood, "Get out right now! Get out of my sight if you know what's good for you!" he threatened.

"That's another thing, I'm not taking orders from you anymore" you stately confidently, you were finally standing up to your father, if only Kana and Uncle were here to see you.

"You will obey me! Or this defiant breath will be your last!"

You pulled out your swords "Think again, I'm going to speak my mind and you are going to listen" Ozai sat down looking defeated.

(Kana's POV)

"Where's the fire lord?" Aang asked.

"You mean I'm not good enough for you" Azula said in a mocking tone, "You're hurting my feelings"

"You don't feel anything other than rage and jealousy" you commented, Azula glared at you.

"Stop wasting our time, and tell us where he is" he held his sword out in a defensive stance, "you're powerless now, you're in no position to refuse."

"And stick to the truth, I'll be able to tell if you're lying" Toph added.

"Are you sure? I'm a pretty good liar. I am a four-hundred foot tall purple platypus bear with pink horns and silver wings."

"Okay you're good, I admit it but you should still consider telling the truth" Toph said.

Suddenly a hole in the floor opened up, and the Dai Li appeared.

"I brought some souvenirs from Ba-Sing-Se"

(Zuko's POV)

"For so long, all I wanted was for you to love me, to accept me. I thought it was my honor I wanted, but really, I was just trying to please you. You, my father, who banished me just for talking out of turn." You pointed your sword at him, "My father, who challenged me, a thirteen-year-old boy, to an Agni Kai. How could you possibly justify a duel with a child?"

"It was to teach you respect"

"It was cruel! And it was wrong!"

"Then you have learned nothing!"

"No, I've learned everything! And I've had to learn it on my own! Growing up, we were taught that the Fire Nation was the greatest civilization in history. And somehow, the War was our way of sharing our greatness with the rest of the world." You said sarcastically. "What an amazing lie that was. The people of the world are terrified by the Fire Nation. They don't see our greatness. They hate us! And we deserve it! We've created an era of fear in the world. And if we don't want the world to destroy itself, we need to replace it with an era of peace and kindness."

"Your Uncle has gotten to you hasn't he"

You smiled, "He has, but he's not my only teacher, Kana showed me how wrong you are, and that people from every nation can live in peace and harmony, I just wish I saw it sooner"

(Kana's POV)

The four of you were chasing Azula, she was fast, but not as fast you but you couldn't pin her down, she was physically stronger than you. No one could pin her down.

"Wait! Don't you see what she's doing? She's just playing with us. She's not even trying to win this fight" Sokka said, you knew he was right. You knew that the first time she escaped your grasp, but you really wanted to punch her so you were ok with slightly stooping to her level.

"Not true, I'm giving it my all" Azula said.

"You're trying to keep us here and waste our time!" Toph commented.

"Um, right, I think your friend just said that, genius. And since you can't see, I should tell you I'm rolling my eyes." Azula said, out of all the things she's said, this bothered you the most.

"I'll roll your whole head!" Toph yelled angrily as you held your sword up to her throat.

"Don't tempt me, say what you want about me, but you will not mock Toph," you said coldly. Toph gasped in shock, surprised by your actions. For the first time you saw a hint of fear in Azula's eyes.

"Okay so what do we do, do we just ignore her" Aang asked.

"We have no choice. We just have to get out of here and find the fire lord on our own somehow," Sokka said.

You released Azula and the four of you turned to leave. You hung back for a second, glaring at Azula before you followed everyone else.

"Don't say I didn't warn you, it's a trap"

"Ignore!" Sokka yelled as he continued, followed by everyone else.

"So, Sokka's your name, right?" Azula said. "My favorite prisoner used to mention you all the time. She was convinced you were going to come rescue her. Of course you never came, and she gave up on you."

Sokka shed a few tear before charging at Azula with his sword against her throat, "Where's Suki" he demanded.

(Zuko's POV)

"After I leave here today, I'm gonna free Uncle Iroh from his prison and I'm gonna beg for his forgiveness. He's the one who's been a real father to me."

"Oh, that's just beautiful. And maybe he can pass down to you the ways of tea and failure." Ozai said with a laugh.

You ignored him and said "And I'm going to find Kana, she probably hates me but I'm going to do everything I can to get her forgiveness."

"You're peasant girlfriend is dead" Ozai said, he was bluffing but it took all of your willpower to not attack him. General Sung clenched his fists.

"She's not dead, and you know it, she's probably fighting alongside the Avatar. Besides I've come to an even more important decision." You paused and closed your eyes, "I'm going to join the Avatar and I'm going to help him defeat you."

"Really? Since you're a full-blown traitor now and you want me gone, why wait? I'm powerless. You've got your swords. Why don't you just do it now?" Ozai said smugly.

"Because I know my destiny, defeating you is the avatar's destiny" you put your swords away and turned to leave. "Goodbye."

Ozai was desperate and angry he stood up and yelled "Coward! You think you're brave enough to face me, but you'll only do it during the eclipse. If you have any real courage, you'll stick around until the sun comes out. Don't you want to know what happened to your mother?" he taunted.

You stopped shocked that he would say that. "What happened that night?"

He smiled a twisted smile. "My father, Fire Lord Azulon, had commanded me to do the unthinkable to you, my own son, and I was going to do it. Your mother found out and swore she would protect you at any cost. She knew I wanted the throne and she proposed a plan, a plan in which I would become Fire Lord and your life would be spared. Your mother did vicious, treasonous things that night. She knew the consequences and accepted them. For her treason, she was banished."

You felt tears in your eyes; "So she's alive" you could hardly believe it.

"Perhaps. Now I realize that banishment is far too merciful a penalty for treason. Your penalty will be far steeper."

The eclipse was over.

Ozai glared and shot lighting directly at you, you managed to redirect it near him. You noticed that General Sung was about to attack your father, thankfully he didn't notice. The impact blast of the lighting caused your father to fly into the wall. The fire nation flag fell onto him. You took that as your cue to leave. General Sung swiftly left as well.

(Kana's POV)

"Sounds, like the firebending is back on" Azula said as she broke out of Toph's earth cuff and attacked. "Dad's all the way at the end of the hall then down a secret stairway on the left. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to see you now." and with that she ran away, but not before she shot lighting at you, which you redirected at her. You missed by a few inches. "Next time I won't miss" Azula yelled.

"I fell for it, I used all of our time" Sokka looked down feeling ashamed.

"Its not your fault Sokka, Azula was ready for us, she had every move planned out" Toph explained.

"And now it's too late"

"Maybe its not too late, the eclipse is over but I can still face the fire lord" Aang said.

"No, that's a bad idea, Ozai is a master firebender, and he's expecting you, it would be too dangerous" you said.

"She's right" Sokka agreed.

"The Fire Lord knew we were coming this time. We thought we had surprise on our side but we didn't. It just wasn't our day. What we need to do now is go and help our friends." Toph said.

"I guess you guys are right"

"You'll have another chance, I know you will" Sokka said putting his hand on Aang's shoulder.

"Come on, being upset won't solve anything," you said with a comforting smile, " lets go"
