Heres another update! Thanks for all of the reviews. This chapter is a bit shorter, originally it was suppose to be part of the next one but i split them so that one wouldn't be too long, its mostly character development.

Spatterson- i'd have to say my favorite part was when Zuko battles and defeats Maleficent, but i also really liked your choice of dialog for Katara and Ty Lee, its very fitting for their characters. After i update this story i'll be posting the first chapter your story, so please let know if theirs anything you want changed, because again its your story and i want to make sure everything you want, happens.

Maypl Bougher- Glad you think so! ^_^

Clairabeth-I'm actually not a zutara fan, mostly because Zuko is my favorite character and Katara is my least favorite, no offense to anyone I'm just not a fan. I prefer to make up my own characters, its more fun for me. So far Kana is my favorite original character (I've written other fan fiction but they're pretty bad so lets not talk about them) And yeah i have a really good memory when it comes to dialog and i watch the show whenever its on. Thank you for your kind words! I really appreciate the review

Zuko was pretty upset when you told him that he has to sleep in his own room, if hes going to earn your trust back this was one way to do it. Plus it's a good way to punish him. You had to admit you've gotten used to sleeping without Zuko but you would much rather sleep beside him.

You woke up as the sun rose. You dressed in a maroon uneven skirt, gold sandals and a black top that Daisuke bought you on his last trip to town. You were thankful that he thought of you because you only have two other outfits and you really hate doing laundry but you also enjoy being clean.

Once you were ready for the day you silently traversed the halls until you got to Zuko's room. You knocked. You heard a muffled 'come in' so you opened the door to reveal Zuko who was also dressed and ready, well almost ready, he's only been in the room for a day and some how he managed to lose his shoes already.

"Try under your bed" you, suggested, Zuko looked at you shocked; guess he didn't realize it was you. He than looked under his bed and found his missing shoe. You couldn't help but giggle.

"What would I do without you?" he murmured as he closed the distance between the two of you.

"I don't know what did you do without me" you replied, still bitter about him leaving you.

"You're still mad aren't you?"

"Not mad, more like upset and disappointed"

"That's worse," he mumbled closing his eyes.

You felt bad about punishing Zuko. You leaned in and sweetly kissed him on the cheek. Zuko opened his eyes and smiled. "I don't think I'll be able to keep this up," you whispered.

Zuko looked away, "But I deserve it"

You sighed, "Zuko, please don't beat yourself up"

"Kana I left you in Ba-Sing-Se, you've given me so many chances, you deserve better."

"Do you remembered the night under the cherry blossom tree?" you asked, Zuko gave you a look but nodded, "Then you remember that I said that I deserve you because I love you, and you deserve me because I hope you love me"

Zuko wrapped his arms around you, "I love you so much" he murmured, his lips against your neck. You missed being this close to Zuko but you knew it had to stop; you have a job to do.

"Zuko we can't" you said.

"Why not?" he replied as he reached out to close the door.

"We need to teach Aang"

"That's today?" Zuko whined. You nodded, Zuko pouted like a kid who was refused a toy.

"Oh stop it," you giggled, "I'll go wake Aang up," you said as you opened the door, you tried to leave when you were pulled backwards. You fell into Zuko's arms as he kissed you passionately. Instinctively you wrapped your arms around his neck and kissed back. It only lasted a few seconds before Zuko pulled away and helped you regain your balance.

He smirked "You should probably go wake up Aang"

You tried to glare at him but you couldn't help but smile, "that was so unfair" you said as you walked out of the room.

"You liked it" Zuko said before closing his door to finish getting ready.

You walked to the young avatar's room, trying to suppress the blush that appeared on your face as soon as you walked out of Zuko's room. It wasn't working. You knocked on Aang's door. You were surprised that he answered the door almost instantly.

"Morning Kana, is it time for training?" he asked.

You nodded, "meet on the upper balcony in five minutes." Aang nodded, so you waved and headed up the balcony.

You decided to meditate while you wait for Aang and Zuko. You sat down and closed your eyes, you wished that you had vanilla candles but knew that you didn't need them. You closed your eyes and inhaled deeply, calming your mind and body as you focused on your emotions.

(Zuko's POV)

After you put your shoes on you made sure that you looked all right, even though you already saw Kana this morning, you wanted to make sure you looked all right. You opened the door without paying attention; you took a step and walked right into Jet.

"What do you want." you practically growled. And it wasn't a question it was a demand.

"I don't know what your motive is but I'm not going to let you hurt Kana again" Jet hissed.

You features softened, you remembered what Kana said about Jet's heart being in the right place. "I'm not going to hurt Kana again," you stated. You still wanted to punch him.

"If you slip up once, Kana will be mine" Jet threatened, it pissed you off that Jet also loves Kana and that he's making it blatantly obvious. But it made you furious that Jet talked about Kana as if she was a prize to be won.

"Stop talking about Kana like she's an object, she's a women, not a toy, man up and treat her like one" you were surprised by your own words, maybe you did grow up a little. You pushed past Jet who stood in the doorway in shock.
