Maypl Bougher- I know the story has been seriously lacking romance, i'm actually a couple chapters ahead of whats posted, like I'm writing chapter 80 right now so i can't just put big romance part in without messing up the story. The next few chapters after this one has a few romantic moments, but in the near future i'm planning a date chapter.

Spatterson- sorry i couldn't upload those chapters, i just started my job and internship and i finally have time now, i just put up 3 and 4. Unless something important comes up, 5 will be posted some time tomorrow.
Later that night you tried to find Zuko but it was as if he disappeared. When you noticed that Aang and Appa were also missing you realized what happened.
"I can't believe that jerk just freaking left when I told him that I needed to talk to him" you mumbled in anger as you walked to where Zuko's war balloon was stored.
"Kana what are you doing?" Daisuke asked. When he saw you struggling to prepare the war balloon for flight.
"Zuko is a jerk," you mumbled.
Daisuke sighed, "theirs no way to stop you is there?" he questioned, as Jet and Kaito approached.
"Nope, I guarantee that they're going to do something stupid, so I'm going after them" you said defiantly.
"What if Kaito forbids you again?" Jet said with a chuckle. Kaito slapped Jet in the back of head and pretended that he did nothing.
After a few minutes and the help of Kaito, Daisuke and Jet the war balloon was ready for flight.
"Do you even know how to fly this thing?" Daisuke asked.
"I can figure it out," you said as you climbed in and used your bending to ignite the flame.
"Be careful" Kaito called as the balloon floated off the ground.
"This can't be too hard" you mumbled to yourself. You didn't want to admit it but you had no idea what you were doing.
(Zuko's POV)
You couldn't help but feel like you were forgetting something. It was bothering you almost as much as the fact that you're firebending isn't working. Everything was starting to frustrate you.
"We've been flying for hours, I don't know why but I thought this thing would be a lot faster" you complained as you looked at Appa who growled in response.
"Appa's right Zuko, on our team we usually start our missions with a more upbeat attitude" Aang said.
You sighed, "I can't believe this"
"Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it!"
By morning you arrived at the sun warrior's civilization, you were amazed.
(Kana's POV)
Flying the war balloon was a bit more difficult that you thought, but you eventually got the hang out it. Appa was a lot faster. Even though you had a full day to think about everything, you were still furious with Zuko. This was not the right way to get your trust back.
You arrived at the sun warrior's civilization by the next night. Landing the war balloon was not an easy task you almost crashed. You vaguely remembered where all of the booby traps were so you easily avoided them. As you approached the building where you first met the sun warriors you heard yelling that sounded like Aang and Zuko.
You sighed, and rubbed the bride of your nose "I knew they would do something stupid." You entered the building but found a weird green goop all over the place. You heard Aang and Zuko yelling again, but it sound liked it was above you.
As you climbed the outside of the building you definitely heard Aang and Zuko arguing.
"Help!" Aang yelled.
"Who are you yelling to? Nobody has lived here for centuries," Zuko said bitterly.
"Well, what do you think we should do?"
"Think about our place in the universe"
They were so busy arguing that they didn't even notice you approaching. You tried to suppress a laugh when you saw that they were stuck to a grate with the goopy green stuff you saw earlier.
"You just had to touch the pretty rock didn't you" you said as you walked over with your arms crossed.
"Kana!" Aang said happily. Zuko just went wide-eyed.
"Aw not happy to see me Zuko? Didn't you forget something?" you were trying really hard to stay mad at him but the look on his face and the fact that he was stuck to the ceiling was making it very difficult.
"I'm sorry Kana, I completely forgot, I messed up again, I'm so sorry…" he rambled.
After a few moments, you finally stopped him, "Relax, getting stuck to the ceiling is punishment enough, but seriously Zuko, would it kill you to listen to me once in a while"
"You should really listen to her" Aang parroted
"I do listen, I'm just really forgetful"
You sighed, "Well we need to figure out a way to get you two out of there"
"Who is up there" you heard the familiar voice of the sun warrior chief
You did the fire nation symbol of peace in greeting, then kneeled, Aang and Zuko looked completely confused.
"Ah Kana, back so soon young warrior?" the chief questioned.
"Yeah, my idiot boyfriend and the avatar seem to be stuck, can you get them out?"
"You know him?" Zuko asked in confusion.
You nodded, "That's what I wanted to talk to you about," Zuko frowned feeling bad that he left before talking to you.
"They were trying to steal our sun stone" the chief replied after seeing what trap they are in. He was about to speak again when Zuko cut him off
"We didn't come here to steal your sun stone. We came here to learn the origin of firebending"
The Chief looked at Zuko than at you, "Wise one, you could do better, this one isn't that bright"
You giggled, "He has a thick skull, but he's smarter than he looks, plus he's a sweetheart" you replied.
"Can we skip the making fun of me part, I realize I messed up" Zuko mumbled in annoyance. You gave him an apologetic smile before turning to the chief, "Can you please get them out?" you asked.
"Anything for you" The chief replied with a fatherly smile.
Sun warriors cut Zuko and Aang out of the goop and gave them some food and water; apparently they've been stuck there since the morning.
Once they were all settled Aang and Zuko kneeled before the sun warriors chief. You were standing behind the chief with your arms crossed, Zuko gulped nervously.
"Please teach us," Aang said.
"How do we know you're worthy?" The chief asked.
"I don't usually play this card but I'm the avatar" Aang said as he stood up, the warriors just gave him a confused look, "Just hear us out!"
Zuko was still kneeling, "My name is Zuko, Crown Prince of the Fire Nation. Or at least, I used to be. I know my people have distorted the ways of firebending, to be fueled by anger and rage. But now I want to learn the true way, the original way. When we came here, I never imagined the Sun Warrior civilization was secretly alive. I am truly humbled to be in your presence. Please, teach us." You smiled at how humble Zuko was, you couldn't help but think of how he'll be a great firelord one day.
The chief suddenly turned to you, "Kana" he said, "You've met the masters, do you think they will find Avatar Aang and Prince Zuko worthy"
Without a thought you replied, "They're worthy in my eyes." Zuko looked at you in shock for a moment but it changed to a soft smile. You smiled back at him.
The chief turned back to them, "If you wish to learn the ways of the sun, you must learn from the masters Ran and Shao"
"Theirs two masters?" Aang asked.
"When you present yourselves to them, they will examine you. They'll read your hearts, your souls, and your ancestry." He waked towards Zuko and towered over him, "If they deem you worthy, they'll teach you. If they don't, you'll be destroyed on the spot." The Chief finished. Zuko looked incredibly worried. You were about to walk over to him when the sun warriors surrounded them and began to explain what they would have to do.
You noticed a rustling in the bushes a few yards away. You sighed, "you've got to be kidding me" you mumbled as Jet walked out of the bushes, "Seriously, this is the second time you've followed me here" you said in annoyance as he walked over to you.
Upon seeing Jet, Zuko rushed to your side defensively.
"I wanted to make sure you got here, alright," Jet said innocently. Then he turned to Zuko, "She was so upset when she found out that you left"
Zuko was about to speak when you covered his mouth preventing him, then you spoke, "Jet stop it, just because I was upset with Zuko doesn't mean I'm going to leave him, you need to stop it" you warned him.
Jet was not expecting that answer because he was speechless. After Zuko was satisfied that Jet would leave you alone he returned to Aang and the sun warriors. When they were about to leave you walked over to them.
"Aang, I know you'll do well, you've already learned so much" you told him.
"Thank you Sifu Kana" Aang said brightly.
You laughed, "you really don't have to call me that" then you turned to Zuko, "Zuko, relax, you'll do fine" you tried to reassure him.
"But what if they think I'm not worthy, you heard what the Chief said, they're going to judge me based on my ancestors too, they're the ones responsible for killing the dragons" Zuko rambled.
You leaned in and kissed him lightly on the lips, it only lasted a few seconds but when you pulled away Zuko was dumbfounded. "I believe in you," you said with a smile.
Zuko opened his eyes and smiled, "I won't let you down" he said quietly, "But I think I need another kiss" he added.
You laughed, "you can have one after you learn from the masters"
Zuko bit his lip and pouted. Thankfully the sun warriors called him to begin his journey, because if you had to look at his cute face for a few more seconds, you would have kissed him, he was just so irresistible to you.
As the sun rose Zuko and Aang were climbing the steps to meet the masters. When they reached the top you could have sworn you saw Aang's flame go out, but you dismissed the idea when the dragons Ran and Shao revealed themselves. You smiled. They did it.
Zuko and Aang practically ran down the steps in excitement. You and the Chief walked up to them with Jet following.
"Their fire was beautiful, I saw so many colors I've never imagined" Zuko said, his eyes full of wonder.
"Like firebending harmony" Aang added.
"Yes, they judged you and gave you visions of the meaning of firebending" The chief said.
"I can't believe that there are still living dragons" his voice was full of hope, "My Uncle said he faced and killed the last dragon"
"So your Uncle lied," Aang said.
"Actually, It wasn't a total lie. You Uncle was the last outsider before Kana to face the masters, they deemed him worthy and passed their secret to him" The chief said.
"He must have lied to protect them" Zuko realized, "So no one would hunt them"
"All this time, I thought firebending was destruction. Since I hurt Katara, I've been too afraid and hesitant. But now I know what it really is... it's energy, and life."
"Yeah. It's like the Sun, but inside of you. Do you guys realize this?" Zuko said as he extended his arms, you couldn't help but laugh sometimes he isn't the brightest.
"Well, our civilization is called the Sun Warriors... so yeah." The Chief said, then he turned to you, "He must have something else going for him, because smarts is definitely not one of them"
Zuko blushed in embarrassed, you giggled as you said, "Its obviously his good looks" Zuko gave you a sly smirk as he walked over to you, "and loving heart" Zuko put his arms around you and you smiled at him as you lightly kissed his cheek.
" So, that's why my firebending was so weak before. Because for so many years, hunting you" he turned to Aang, "was my drive... it was my purpose. So when I joined you, I lost sight of my inner fire. But now, I have a new drive. I have to help you defeat my father, restore balance to the world and most importantly" he looked at you, "I have to protect you"
You blushed, usually Zuko wasn't so public with affection, he smiled upon seeing your blush and kissed you.
"Now that you have learned the secrets, and you know about our tribe's existence, we have no choice but to imprison you here forever…. Just kidding. But seriously, don't tell anyone!"
(Daisuke's POV)
All of the kids had gone to sleep but everyone else was sitting around the fire. You realized yesterday morning that Jet went after Kana again. So you and Kaito had to explain where Aang, Zuko, Kana and Jet went.
"So all I had was my boomerang and hunting knife, and this huge fish comes out of nowhere…" Sokka was telling a story.
"He's leaving out that he was terrified" Katara added.
Suddenly you heard footsteps, Kaito and Toph heard them too, but no one else seemed to notice. At first you thought it was everyone returning but when you heard only one set of footsteps you dismissed the idea.
A man wearing fire nation clothes waving a small white flag walked into the common area, "Excuse me, but I'm looking for my daughter" he said
You and Kaito looked at each other and in that moment you could have sworn your heart skipped a few beats. By the look on Kaito's face you knew his did too.
Everyone got up, ready to fight.
"Stop he's telling the truth" Toph said as she stood up.
"Whose your daughter?" Haru asked.
The man stepped into the light from the fire, revealing his dull red hair. He was about to speak when you did, "Its Kana."
