Spatterson- yep i'll fix it, also for all of the parts you said that you didn't write, i wrote them, all of them stay really close to the movie, and obviously if you don't like something just let me know so i can change it.

Maypl Bougher- Love the enthusiasm!

Having your parents around made you feel like you were back home. The past few days have been great. Every morning you've been teaching Aang firebending with Zuko, once you're finished your mom has breakfast made, you really missed her cooking. You're parents and Sung get along really well. For some strange reason, Zuko, Jet and Domon have been getting along; it's been two days since they've glared at each other. It's either a miracle or the end of the world.

Your parents bought you a new set of duel swords. They even brought Kaito's Long sword and Daisuke's windmill shuriken.

The Western Air Temple was really starting to feel like home. You leaned against Zuko who wrapped his arms around you. You looked around; your dad was playing pai sho with Sung, your mom was playing with the kids, it kind of reminded you of when you Kaito and Daisuke were little. Everyone else was doing their own thing or just hanging out. It was pretty perfect.

"Kana!" Ike whined, drawing out each letter of your name.

"Yeah Kana!" Domon and Yahigo said, equally whiny.

Maybe a bit too much like home.

"I'm hungry," the three of them said in unison.

"So am I" Kaito whined.

You were rudely disturbed, right when you got comfortable.

"I am not dealing with this," you mumbled.

"You know they're going to keep whining" Zuko mumbled with his lips pressed against your neck.

"What if I ignore them?"

Right on cue, to answer your question, Daisuke whined, "Kana make us food"

You moaned in frustration, earning a laugh from Zuko.

"Hmm its like we never left home" Your dad called.

"Kana" Jet whined.

"Oh come on! You too!" you yelled as you sat up. "Is anyone else hungry?" you asked as you stood up. You looked around, All of the boys instantly raised their hands, followed by the girls timidly, then your mom, dad and Sung. You turned to look at Zuko, "you too?" you asked in defeat. He nodded a yes. You sighed, "All of you are so needy" you mumbled as you walked over to the fire pit.

Your mom walked over, "Here honey, I'll help"

"Just like at home" you said with a smile.

You and your mother cooked in a comfortable silence. She did most of the cooking; you just followed her directions and made tea for everyone.

"You look so different" your mom said suddenly, breaking the silence, you looked at her curiously, she smiled, "you look older, more mature, you lost all of the childhood chubbiness in your face and you carry yourself like a strong women"

"Oh mom, I'm not that different"

"But honey you are, it's a good thing" she said with a motherly smile. For the first time in almost a year you really looked at her. You remembered the day you left with Zuko; she was crying, the wrinkles on her face intensified, and her eyes were dull and hopeless. Now she looked a bit older, her hair graying and winkles still appeared but she looked different, she looked so proud. You couldn't help but smile.

"I'm so proud of you and your brothers" she pulled you into a hug, "you've all grown so much"

"Mom, you raised us well, I couldn't have asked for better parents."

Meals have become a bit of a ritual, for the most part everyone does their own thing all day, but everyone always comes together when its time to eat. Food really does bring people together. You and Zuko were sitting on the partially destroyed bench; your parents were sitting on the other side of the room.

"So Kana you never told us what happened after Ba-Sing-Se," your dad said. For the past few days, you, Kaito and Daisuke have been telling your parents about everything that's happened since you left home. "Come to think of it, Daisuke and Kaito haven't said anything about it either."

The three of you looked at each other, not knowing what to say, the last thing you told your parents was about when you were reunited in Ba-Sing-Se, you left out the part about Zuko betraying you, and being captured by the Dai Lee.

"What happened?" He asked again.

You and Daisuke stayed silent, but Kaito spoke up, "Nothing we hung out on Ember Island for a while, helped Aang with the invasion, and here we are" he lied.

"That's not what happened" Zuko said. You looked at Zuko, you could see the deep sadness that appears every so often.

"He's kidding" Daisuke said. He was covering for Zuko.

"No, they don't want to tell you because they're protecting me" Zuko said strongly.

"Zuko" you mumbled, but he didn't look at you. Zuko never broke eye contact with your parents. Now everyone was paying attention to Zuko and your parents.

"Then what happened?" your mom asked, she wasn't upset, only concerned.

"In Ba-Sing-Se, I betrayed Kana" he looked down ashamed, you glanced at your parents, your mom was shocked, your dad just looked angry. "I sided with my sister because she told me that I could go home, I couldn't ask Kana to come with me. I thought she would be able to escape but Azula knew, she had the Dai Lee waiting for them."

"We were captured, they took me and Daisuke to the imperial prison in the Fire Nation capital and they took Kana to the Boiling Rock Prison" Kaito said, he was upset that he lied before.

One by one, Team Avatar, Haru, Teo and the Duke left the room; they knew this wasn't a conversation they should be apart of. Sung, Ike, Yahigo, Ike, Jet, Longshot and Smellerbee remained.

You squeezed Zuko's hand as you waited for a response from your parents.

They didn't respond, so Daisuke spoke, "We were put in the highest security cells, but Zuko managed to visit us every night, he kept us updated on Kana and always tried to free us." Kaito nodded in agreement.

Your parents looked at you, which only made you wish you could disappear, your time at the Boiling Rock was not pleasant, and it's not something you want to talk about. You've never told Zuko everything that happened. Jet doesn't even know everything and he was there.

"Kana what happened?" Your mother asked, her eyes pleading for an answer.

You sighed, "I was put into a maximum security cell, no windows, no vents, no lights. Every day I would wake up eat nasty prison food, get harassed by the guards, then get interrogated by the Warden, I was..."

Zuko jumped up, "He interrogated you?" he asked, he knows that the Warden at the Boiling Rock is famous for his brutality.

"Were you hurt?" Your father asked seriously.

"Not physically, they try to break your spirit, but I wouldn't let them" you replied, you ignored Zuko's question. He gave you look, you'd have to talk to him later. "They allowed me to go in the yard for an hour once a day. One day Jet walked up to me and we had escape plans a week later. The night before we escaped the Warden woke me up, he told me that I would be executed in two days because Zuko asked his father for my freedom"

You and your brothers continued the story, leaving out the unnecessary and horrible details. The entire time Zuko looked ashamed, his expression held so much regret and remorse, you hated seeing him like this. Your mother was on the verge of tears; she never expected that you would run into all of this trouble. Your father looked emotionless, he listed to your story with a straight face, and you had no idea how he was feeling. You've never seen him like this before.

Once you finished the story, you looked to your parents, waiting for a reaction. A few moments past and Zuko looked like he was going break down. You squeezed his hand, in an attempt to calm him. A majority of what happened was his fault, but he never meant for it to happen, it was all Azula's plan and he fell for it. You knew Zuko would never willingly hurt you, even Kaito and Daisuke knew that.

"Prince Zuko, do you regret your actions?" Your Mom asked, her voice was trembling as tears streamed down her face.

Before Zuko could speak, your father did. "It doesn't matter if he regrets his actions of not, he put our children in danger, it's unforgiveable"

Just a note, my work and internship schedule is crazy busy so i might not be able to update until after the weekend
