I really appreciate the reviews! This one is a bit of filler, i promise the next one will be better

You and Zuko waited until you were sure that your brothers were gone. It was early afternoon when Zuko slipped out of your room and into his to get ready for the day. You dressed in a maroon halter-top and black uneven skirt. Once you were ready you walked into the main common area only to be verbally attacked.

"What the hell were you thinking, look at Aang" Katara yelled accusingly. You glanced at Aang; he was blushing and avoiding eye contact.

"I don't see what the big deal is," Toph argued. "We all know Kana and Zuko are dating"

"Its really not a big deal" Aang said softly.

"Katara are you really saying that I can't kiss my boyfriend?" you asked in amusement.

Katara looked like she was about to say something but didn't.

Shortly after Zuko walked in, and was immediately pulled to the side by Daisuke and Kaito. You thought nothing of it. You walked over to Toph.

"You slept late" Toph said with a sly smile as you approached.

You laughed, "You got me there" you paused, "Thanks for standing up for me"

"It was the right thing to do, you and Zuko can do whatever you want together" upon realizing what she said she added, "I don't wanna know"

You laughed again, "Fair enough"

Daisuke walked over to you, "Hey sis, why don't you go into town today" He said as he handed you some money.

You gave him a curious look, "Do we need supplies?" you asked.

He shook his head, "Zuko mentioned that you two are going on a date soon, I've been saving some money to send to mom and dad but seeing as they are off with their weird old people club, I want you to have it"

"Daisuke" you paused, "I couldn't, it's your money"

"And now its yours" he said.

You smiled at your brother, "Thank you Daisuke," he nodded a your welcome and walked back to Kaito and Zuko.

You turned to Toph, "Wanna go into town?" you asked.

"Why not" she replied, "It's something to do, besides all of us have been lazy lately."

"Hey speak for yourself," you laughed, you paused a moment, "You should invite Katara"

"Are you sure that's a good idea?"

"No, but the offer would be nice, who knows maybe we'll become friends" you replied. Toph nodded and went to find Katara as you went to go find Smellerbee.

After a short argument from Katara, the four of you walked to town. You, Smellerbee and Toph had a lively conversation but Katara stayed silent. Once you reached town Toph and Smellerbee ran ahead of you, leaving you and Katara alone.

You broke the silence.

"I know I'm not your favorite person" you said just loud enough to get her attention; she looked at you so you continued. "I just wanted to let you know that friendship is still an option."

Katara waited a moment before answering. "I don't know what you and Zuko are planning but if you slip up once…"

You cut her off, "Ok, I really don't have to deal with this" you said as you caught up with Toph and Smellerbee leaving a very shocked Katara behind.

You passed a few clothing shops but so far nothing has caught your eye.

"What about this one?" Smellerbee asked gesturing to a cute little shop run by an elderly women and younger women. "I don't really understand this girly stuff, I don't really like it," she added as the four of you walked in.

"Smellerbee we've had this conversation before, whatever you enjoy doing is girly, you're fine the way you are" you told her, Smellerbee just smiled.

"Yeah I was never too into shopping, the whole not being able to see thing kind of ruins it" Toph said to lighten the moment.

Smellerbee wandered around the store, she seemed torn between attempting to be 'girly' and being who she is. You walked over to her. "Smellerbee, you know if you want some new clothes, Daisuke gave me more than enough money," you offered. Timidly Smellerbee held up an earth kingdom V-neck shirt. "Go try it on, make sure it fits" you encouraged.

"Do you think it will be ok?" she asked, but she was actually asking, will I still look like myself?

"I think you'll look great it in" you said with a smile.

Smellerbee ran off to try on her shirt, while you continued to try to find the perfect outfit for you date.

Toph walked over to you as you were looking at a maroon uneven skirt that was pretty short in the front and long and flowing in the back.

"So what did you and Katara talk about before?" she asked with a hint of concern in her voice.

You sighed, "She doesn't trust me and Zuko, I offered to be friends but she thinks that we're going to betray Aang"

"She's so stubborn" Toph mumbled.

Smellerbee exited the dressing room wearing the shirt she looked adorable in it. Something about Smellerbee had changed, she seemed more confident, maybe shes finally seeing that it doesn't matter how you look, as long as you're happy with yourself.

You continued to look through all of the clothes until you found a black and gold corset style strapless top, a thin golden rope belt and the maroon skirt from earlier.

The walk to and from town was longer than the actual time spending in town. By the time you got back to the Western Air Temple it was almost time for dinner. You quickly kissed Zuko before heading to your room to drop off your new clothes.

When you returned Sokka was handing out food while, you joined the circle, leaving room for Zuko who had not sat down yet.

Zuko walked over carrying a tray with a kettle and teacups, "No one can make tea like Uncle, but hopefully I learned a thing or two from him." He said.

"Oh god Zuko made tea," you mumbled with your hand covering your face, Daisuke looked at you curiously but didn't say anything.

"Would you like to hear Uncle's favorite tea joke?" Zuko asked.

"Sure" Katara replied, you were kind of annoyed, she treated you horribly all day but she'll listen to Zuko's joke.

"I like jokes" Aang said.

"Bring it!" Top added.

"Okay. Well, I can't remember how it starts, but the punch line is "Leaf me alone, I'm bushed!" He paused but there was no response. "Well, it's funnier when Uncle tells it." He sighed as he continued to pass out the tea.

"Right… Maybe that's because he remembers the whole thing," Katara said, a few people laughed.

"Its nice to get a chance to relax once in a while, I hardly ever happens." Toph said changing the topic.

"Hey can I talk to you for a second?" Sokka asked Zuko, Zuko nodded and the two of them walked away. What was that about it?

(Zuko's POV)

"So what's up?" you asked when you were out of hearing range of everyone else.

"If someone was captured by the fire nation where would they be taken?" Sokka asked.

"What do you mean? Who was captured?"

"When the invasion plan failed, some of our troops were captured. I just want to know where they might be," Sokka explained.

"I can't tell you" you looked away.

"What? Why not?"

"Trust me. Knowing would just make you feel worse" you said, you tried to push the thoughts of Kana at the boiling rock away it must have been horrible. You were about to leave when Sokka stopped you.

"Its my dad." Sokka said. "He was captured too, I need to know what I put him through"

"Its not good Sokka" you sighed sympathetically.

"Please"

"My guess is they were taken to the boiling rock" you replied.

"What's that?" he asked, you were getting suspicious. What is he thinking?

"It's the highest security prison in the Fire Nation. It's in the middle of a boiling lake. They keep rouge firebenders and high ranking prisoners of war there." You said. "The only people who have ever escaped from there are Kana and Jet" you added.

"So where is this place?" Sokka asked.

"Why do you need to know? What are you planning?" you asked suspiciously.

"Nothing" Sokka said quickly, "You're paranoid"

"Its in the middle of a volcano between here and the fire nation" you sighed. "You actually passed it on your way here."

"Thanks Zuko" Sokka yawned, "Just knowing makes me feel better" he walked away.

You hung back for a second, "Yeah, I'm sure it does" you said sarcastically.

When you returned to everyone, Kana gave you a curiously look.

"Its not important," You replied, you didn't want Kana to worry about anything.

It didn't look like she believed that but she didn't say anything. You changed the topic. "So why aren't you drinking your tea?" you asked curiously, Kana loves tea.

"Oh um…" she mumbled and looked away, "I guess I have to tell you the truth." Then she turned back to you. "Zuko I love you and you're great at a lot of things, but you're horrible at making tea. Out of all the things you've learned from Iroh, this is not one of them" Kana explained.

You were shocked, "but you drink my tea all the time"

"Actually I pour it out when you're not looking… I learned that trick from Iroh"
