Sonic and Silver looked at the huge iceberg shifting away at the Ice Cap Zone as they turned to each other, their arms wrapped around the back of their heads.
"What's with that giant glacier?" Sonic asked as he pointed at it.
Silver shrugged as he wrapped his arms around the back of his head. "I don't know. It just popped up out of nowhere. I didn't think this place would have glaciers with how far this cap is from the lakes."
It was then that another glacier slid down the cap suddenly, flattening Sonic and Silver as it headed downhill towards the iceberg at the Ice Cap's base, both of the glaciers colliding with each other and exploding into tiny pieces of ice.
Shadow was coasting through the White Acropolis as he was destroying the various spotlights installed around the wintery zone, blasting the advanced badniks that were positioned there.
"Geeze, this place hasn't changed at all." Shadow remarked as he was approaching the metallic base. "This place is basically Shadow Mose Island, but on ice."
As Shadow took a moment to scan the area for any traps, Sonic zipped by as he panted, being chased by several angry flying badniks, all of them firing off their lasers at the blue hedgehog, several of which actually hit him.
"...Wow. That faker can't even handle a couple of lasers." Shadow laughed as he rolled his eyes, only to be hit by a bugged buggy as he was knocked down into a bottomless gorge, screaming as he went flailing about.
