Sorry that I haven't been updating this story, i've been crazy busy, but thank you to everyone who reads this! I will try my best to update soon

I revised chapters 1-49, all of the chapters have improved grammar and some have extra details and dialog. You don't need to reread any of the chapters because the basic story is still the same, i just added extra details and took out plot points i ended up not using.

Just when you thought that Zuko wasn't coming back you felt a rush of cold air as the tent opened and you felt Zuko's strong arms wrap around you. You rolled over to face him.

"I didn't mean to wake you" Zuko murmured.

"Its alright," you yawned, "I was starting to think you wouldn't come back," you smiled sleepily, you weren't upset you just missed him.

Zuko was silent for a moment; he frowned then said, "I'm sorry."

"It's fine" you yawned again, "Why were you gone so long?" you asked.

Zuko sighed, "I was trying to talk to Katara but she just got mad at me, I think I know which fleet killed her mother but she wouldn't listen"

"Well that's not surprising," you mumbled.

"But if we help her get closure about her mother she might trust us" Zuko replied.

"That would be nice, so how do we help her?" you asked.

"I'm not sure yet" Zuko yawned.

"Lets get some sleep," you said as you kissed his cheek. You cuddled into Zuko's chest as he kissed your forehead.

The next morning you woke up later than usual. You noticed that Zuko was already gone, probably something to do with getting Katara to trust you. You brushed your hair and straightened your clothes before exiting your tent. You saw Daisuke making food, so you walked over to him. For some reason you felt horrible.

"You don't look so good sis" kaito said as he walked up behind you.

"Maybe you should lay down, or go back to bed," Jet suggested.

You shook your head, "no I'd rather be up, maybe some breakfast will help me feel better" you said.

"Afternoon snack will be ready in a few minutes," Daisuke said, he put emphasis on the word afternoon. You nodded; you couldn't believe that you slept so late. You never sleep this late.

"Hey Kana! Do you wanna help me feed Appa?" Aang asked. You walked over and helped Aang feed Appa, which actually meant that Aang fed Appa while you scratched behind the sky bison's ears.

Suddenly you heard footsteps, you looked up to see Katara and Zuko, he had a sack slung over his back. Zuko smiled at you but you looked at him curiously. You coughed a few times, it was a dry cough and it hurt so much.

"I need to borrow Appa" Katara said.

Aang snickered, "Why? Is it your turn to take a little field trip with Zuko?" Aang asked jokingly.

"Yes it is" Katara said. Upon hearing this you looked at Zuko curiously but he was looking at Aang

"Oh? What's going on?" Aang asked a bit shocked.

"We're going to find the man that took my mother" Katara said darkly. Sokka stood up; he looked like he wanted to speak but didn't know what to say.

"Sokka told me the story of what happened, I know who did it and I know how to find him," Zuko said.

"Uh… what exactly do you think this will accomplish?" Aang asked as you jumped down from Appa's back, you nearly lost your balance. You put your hand on Appa to prevent yourself from falling.

Katara shook her head, "I knew you wouldn't understand," She said as she began to walk away.

Aang stopped her, "Wait! Stop! I do understand. You're feeling unbelievable pain and rage. How do think I felt about the sandbenders when they stole Appa? How do you think I felt about the Fire Nation when I found out what happened to my people?" Aang reasoned.

"She needs this Aang. Its about getting closure and justice" Zuko said.

"You mean revenge" you mumbled Zuko was the only one who heard you. You were starting to feel dizzy, but tried not to let it show.

"I don't think so. I think it's about getting revenge," Aang said thoughtfully.

"Fine, maybe it is!" Katara yelled. "Maybe its what I need! Maybe its what he deserves!"

"Katara you sound like Jet." Aang said.

"Hey I changed!" Jet yelled, he looked almost as offended as when the fire nation didn't care about him escaping from the Boiling Rock.

"It's not the same! Jet attacked the innocent. This man he's a monster"

"I'm still here!" Jet yelled, "Hello changed guy over here, feels really guilty about that"

"Don't worry Jet we know you changed" Kaito laughed.

"Katara she was my mother too, but I think Aang may be right" Sokka reasoned. You coughed again, but thought nothing of it.

"Then you didn't love her the way I did" Katara snapped.

"Katara" Sokka whispered he looked so hurt.

"That was uncalled for!" you yelled at her, "How could you say something so heartless"

"Stay out of this! You don't know what its like to lose your mother" Katara yelled at you.

"I'll never have a chance to meet mine," you said as you looked away. Zuko put a comforting hand on your shoulder. Since meeting your biological father and learning the fate of your mother, you couldn't help but wonder what she was like.

"The monks used to say that revenge is like a two-headed rat viper. While you watch your enemy go down, you're being poisoned yourself." Aang said.

"That's cute for air temple preschool, but this is the real world" Zuko said, you looked at him with a conflicted expression, but he didn't notice.

"Now that I know he's out there… Now that I know I can find him. I feel like I have no choice," Katara explained. You frowned, theirs always a choice and revenge is never the only option.

"Katara, you do have a choice. Forgiveness" Aang reasoned.

"That's the same as doing nothing," Zuko argued.

"Zuko!" you said in shock. "You're one to talk" you mumbled, out of everyone Zuko has been forgiven the most. Zuko was about to speak but after seeing the look on your face decided that it was best not to.

"No its not" Aang said, "Its easy to do nothing, its hard to forgive"

"It's not just hard, its impossible," Katara said as she walked away, with Zuko following.

You sighed in frustration. You're all for getting Katara to trust you and Zuko but helping with her revenge is not the way to do it. You started to feel a bit lightheaded again; maybe food will help, so you walked back over to where Daisuke is cooking.

You didn't see Zuko for the rest of the day, and you continued to feel horrible. Daisuke, Kaito and Jet kept trying to get you to lie down or at least take it easy. After a while you finally listened to them. You skipped dinner; instead you were curled up in your tent trying to regain enough strength to stand.

That night you finally had enough strength to go for a walk. You noticed Aang hiding behind a rock near Appa you walked over to him.

"Something on your mind?" you asked, Aang didn't hear you walk over so you startled him a bit. Once Aang regained his composure he nodded a yes. "I'm pretty good at listening" you offering to listen to whatever is troubling the young avatar.

Aang sighed, "its just that, usually Katara is so level-headed, I know she's upset but revenge? Its just not like her" Aang explained

"I don't understand the whole revenge thing, granted I want to punch Azula but I think that's more rational hatred than revenge" you tried to lighten the mood but failed, you were about to speak when you heard footsteps.

You and Aang walked out from behind the rock to see Zuko and Katara about to take Appa. You frowned.

"So you were just going to take Appa anyway," Aang said in disappointment.

"Yes" Katara said bluntly.

"Its ok, because I forgive you" Aang paused, "That give you any ideas?"

"Don't try to stop us," Katara said.

"I suppose you want us to hope you have fun on your little revenge trip" you said sarcastically as you began to feel dizzy again.

"Kana it's not like that" Zuko said.

"Then what is it?" you asked in frustration, Zuko stayed silent, proving your point.

"I wasn't planning to. This is a journey you need to take. You need to face this man. But when you do, please don't choose revenge. Let your anger out, and then let it go. Forgive him." Aang reasoned.

"Ok, we'll be sure to do that, guru goody goody" Zuko said to Aang as he walked over to you and wrapped his arms around you. You sighed in frustration but wrapped your arms around him.

"Zuko, I really don't agree with this," you mumbled so only he could hear.

"I know," he whispered, "But it's the only way I can think of to get her to trust us,"

You could feel the dizziness coming back; you closed your eyes tight and rested your head on Zuko's shoulder.

"Zuko are you coming or not" Katara demanded.

Zuko sighed, "Give me a minute" he said to her, then turned back to you. "Are you alright?" he asked.

"I'm fine" you replied even though you felt horrible. "Promise me you won't do anything you'll regret."

"I promise" Zuko said. The two of you kissed.

A few moments later you and Aang watched as Appa flew away. Aang turned to you and said, "Do you think they'll do the right thing."

You sighed; the dizziness is really getting to you. "I hope so…" you were about to speak when your vision started to become blurry. "Aang get Kaito" you managed to stutter before you blacked out.

(Zuko's POV)

As Appa flew, you and Katara sat in the awkward silence. You sighed wondering if you were really doing the right thing. You know that revenge is wrong but if it will make Katara trust you and Kana, does that make it worth it?

You thought about how Kana looked when you left, something was different. You remembered how she looked, her eyes weren't as bright as they usually are, and she seemed paler than usual. You hoped that Kana is all right.
