The next morning you woke up earlier than everyone else, you were still in a bit of pain but Kaito's healing was really helping. You were cuddled up in Zuko's arms; you softly kissed his cheek then slipped out of his arms, careful not to disturb him. You quickly changed into a short black skirt and a red halter-top. Before you left the tent you turned back to Zuko, he was on his side hugging a pillow, you couldn't help but think that he looked adorable. You giggled as you exited the tent.

The sun was rising, you love sunrise. You smiled as you walked outside and to the center of camp.

"It's good to see you out and about" Aang said from behind you.

You jumped a little, you weren't expecting to see anyone for a few more hours, but you regained your composure and smiled, "Yeah Kaito's healing really helped"

"Your brother is a great water healer" Aang commented.

You nodded in agreement, As you began to make some vanilla chai tea, "want some?" you asked. Aang nodded in agreement. The two of you sat in silence as the water began to boil.

"So Katara and Zuko's trip went well," Aang said awkwardly breaking the silence.

You nodded, "I'm hoping she'll treat Zuko a little better now."

Aang nodded, the young avatar looked troubled. You stayed silent, trying to find the right words to comfort him. Once the water boiled and you let the tea steep. "Something is troubling you" you stated unable to think of anything else so you decied to take the Iroh approach.

"Is it that obvious?" Aang asked, trying to joke about it. He wasn't very convincing.

You nodded, "If you think it will help, I'm here to listen, if not" you paused and thought for a moment, "I could tell you embarrassing stories about Kaito and Daisuke." After all there is so many embarrassing stories about yoru brothers.

Aang chuckled before returning to a serious expression. He sighed, "I just don't know what I'm going to do, I have to face the fire lord eventually and I don't think I have it in me to kill him, it's against everything I believe in"

You nodded thoughtfully. "Aang I can't imagine what it's like being the avatar but you have to do what you think is right, theirs other ways to defeat the fire lord"

"But everyone is expecting me to kill him" Aang said in a slight panic.

You frowned, no one should be pressuring anyone to kill anyone, and it only makes it worse that Aang is just a kid. "No one should expect that of you, you've said it before, violence is never the answer, there has to be a way to defeat the fire lord without killing him." The tea was ready so you poured two cups and passed one to Aang.

Aang sighed as he took the tea, "I hope you're right"

You heard a sound so you turned around to see Zuko, his hair was all messed up and he didn't bother changing out of yesterday's clothes. You smiled at the sight of him; he's so cute when he's sleepy.

"Hey Zuko" Aang said trying to ignore the worry and stress of your conversation.

Zuko simply waved to Aang and sat next to you. He yawned as he wrapped an arm around you.

"Morning sleepyhead" you giggled.

"Morning beautiful" Zuko replied as he yawned. He looked so tired.

"Maybe you should have slept a bit longer" you commented.

Zuko shook his head, as Jet and Longshot walked over. Zuko took this as an opportunity to whisper, "I couldn't sleep without you" so only you could hear.

You lightly blushed, "we'll sleep late tomorrow," you whispered back. Zuko smiled you blushed before turning your attention to Aang, Jet and Longshot.

"So where to now?" Jet asked. Longshot immediately shrugged and pulled out a map.

"Not sure, do you guys have any ideas?" Aang asked as Jet and Longshot looked over the map.

"We could go to Kana's island?" Jet suggested. "I'm sure their will be a lot of help for us, and we'll have a place to stay" he reasoned.

"Sound like a good place to me" Aang said.

You sighed, "As much as I would love to go home, it's not safe there, my island was raided all the time before Katara and Sokka found you, plus Ozai knows that's where I'm from, it would only be a matter of time before he finds us there"

Zuko nodded in agreement and added, "Besides we should stay close to the fire nation. The summer is almost over and my father plans to end the war with Sozin's comet."

Longshot pointed to a town on the map, Jet looked then said, "No way I'm not going there, It was cool to see, but the Sun Warriors Chief will just keep making fun of me"

You couldn't help but laugh, as Zuko said, "Yeah I know I made some bad choices I don't need the chief reminding me"

"Aw it wasn't that bad" you giggled. You seemed to be the only one that the sun warriors chief respected.

"Yeah for you" Jet mumbled.

"I know where we could go" Zuko said suddenly. Everyone looked at him curiously. "Ember Island, we could stay at my family's summer home, no one has gone there in years"

"Are you sure its safe there?" Aang asked.

"No one recognized me or Kana when we were hiding there" Jet added.

"But isn't it part of the fire nation?"

"It is" Zuko said.

"But everyone there seems a bit detached, I mean they didn't have any wanted posters and it was pretty relaxing there" you replied.

"Relaxing? Sound like a good place to me!" Aang agree.

Once everyone woke up, you left for Ember Island.
