Guess Dante wasn't as tough as he thought. I tried to tell him, but I knew he wouldn't learn until too late. I generally left them to their own devices after some initial advice. They both knew how they were going to win the Games. I let them do it.
District Seven POV
Does it make us terrible people to have sent two kids we knew wouldn't win? It gave better kids from other Districts a chance. Dahlia and Dante were just so insufferable. Panem was better off without them. At least, that's what we would tell ourselves.
