'Raan, Shala

You gave the Migrant Fleet a second chance, Shepard. A second chance to call ourselves "Quarian", and for it to mean something.

With the opening created by your personal intervention, we have been able to achieve a sense of unity not seen since before the Morning War.

Not just between ourselves, not just with the Geth, but with the entire galaxy.

No longer is our presence labelled as a bad omen, no longer are we shunned as thieves and miscreants.

Thanks to you, I can spend the rest of my years watching my people ascend to their deserved place, rather than spiral further into destruction and discord.

Already, we see our ascendant heroes. I must thank you for all you did for Tali'Zorah.

You must be so proud.

You deserve to be so proud. You certainly served her better in life than I did.

Than I should have done.

But now we all have the chance to make up.

A/N: I'm finally back and with what I consider a rather sub-par chapter. I'm truly sorry about that, but in all honesty this has actually been one of the hardest to phrase and commit to text.

I know I promised more regular updates - months ago - but a combination of personal freedom, copious alcohol and the beginning of my time at University very quickly put paid to that. In fact, I'm rather foggy at this very moment. Thank the lord for spell checker. (Watch as a multitude of type-os are identified.)

I really hope that this is satisfactory entry, I will try and get another out soon, really I will.

In addition, and as a way of making up for the delay between chapter 37 and this one, I'd love to hear from you guys. If there are any ideas that spring to mind - any one-shots or side angles you'd like to read, then I'd love hear them. Ideally something other than the epitaphs that I'm doing here - so be sure to let me know. (I reckon I have about every last character in my list of suggestions and planned chapters, so anything else would be amazing.)

I hope that you are all well, and look forwards to the future of this collection.
