A/N: Chapter summary. Rose and Bella talk.

Rosepov

After the meeting had ended and Bella's family had left I went up to my room with Bella following me. I knew we needed to talk but as soon as the door to my room closed I kissed her hard and with everything I had in me. I pulled away before she could do anything and she whimpered a little. I smiled at how adorable she could be sometimes and kissed her nose.

"How about we have that talk now?" I asked in a soothing tone.

"That's a good idea." She responded.

I made my way over to the bed and sat down with my back against the head board. Bella came over and sat in front of me with her knees pulled up to her chest and her chin resting on them. I could tell she was worried about how I would react to what she was going to tell me and I smiled reassuringly at her.

"You can tell me anything Bella. I won't get mad." She gave me a skeptical look and then I remembered how I reacted when I saw her shift. "I'm sorry about how I reacted when you shifted. It was just a shock to find out that my girlfriend of 2 years was a werecat and didn't tell me. I thought you trusted me." I finished a little sadly.

" I do trust you Rose. I just didn't trust myself." At my confused look she continued. "How much do you know about werecreatures and shifters?" She asked.

"I know of imprinting. I knew about it before Scarlette told us what exactly it was. I know that werecreatures absolutely have to shift on the full moon and that it isn't exactly pleasant. I know that shifters are basically just humans that have been given the ability to shapeshift into an animal. I also know that shifters and werecreatures live in packs to better their chances of survival. Oh and that werecreatures are immortal and shifters are too as long as they continue to shift." I told her.

"Well, you know more than I thought you would have. So that makes explaining a little easier. Physically I'm the same age as you. In reality I'm much older."

"I kind of figured you were older." I told her.

"How?" She asked

"Well you are Scarlette's family and part of her pride. It's not hard to figure out that you are at least the same age as her."

"I'm a year older than her actually. She was born in 1713 and me and Anabeth were born in 1712. I'm the second oldest in the pride."

"Who's the oldest in the pride and why aren't they the Alpha?"

"The oldest is Charlie he was born in 1683 and he's not Alpha because it wasn't in his bloodline. To be Alpha of a pack or pride is a birthright and you must be a descendant of an Alpha to be one. Charlie is not biologically related to Scarlette. He imprinted on her father's sister. The Alpha bloodline for our pride only runs through Scarlette and Skyler's blood. If Scarlette were to die then Skyler would become Alpha." I explained.

"You and Anabeth are twins right?"

"Yes, I'm older by 3 minutes. We're identical except for our eyes. Her hair is naturally the same color as mine but she doesn't like when people confuse for one another so she changes the color when ever she feels like it."

"One last thing."

"Anything Rose."

"Have you imprinted?"

"Yes, I have and before you ask. I imprinted on you."
