I awoke with a pounding headache and groaned. I tried to move but realized I couldn't. I opened my eyes and saw I was tied to a chair with gold rope. It had already burned my skin and I hissed in pain when I moved my hand. Soon I heard footsteps and closed my eyes pretending to be asleep. I felt fingernails dig into my shoulders and yelped in pain.

"We know your awake so there's no use pretending." A female voice says.

"There's no point in hurting her more than the rope already has." A second female voice said calmly.

The hand that was on my shoulder lifts and I hear a crack that I know to be a vampire being hit and the second female groans in pain.

"You know better then that Kennedy," says the first voice, "Now do not speak out of turn again."

I keep my eyes closed not wanting my captors to see that I'm a hybrid even though I'm super curious to see what they look like. I assume Kennedy leaves when I hear quick footsteps and the sound of a door closing. The first female puts her hand under my chin and lifts my head.

"Open your eyes hybrid. I want you to see my face before I let you go." She says.

My eyes snap open at that. Standing in front of me is a vampire that I have seen in my mothers memories.

"Jessika. Why are you doing this?" I ask.

After Skyler ran I looked at Faith. She couldn't have done what I think she did to my Sky. I get up and go over to her.

"Come on, we need to talk." I tell her.

She nods and stands up and I start walking to the beach. I hear her tell Seth that she'll be back soon before she starts following me. Once we're far enough away that I know no one will hear I turn to her.

"Tell me you didn't do what I think you did Faith. Tell me you didn't sleep with her just to betray her later." I say and hear my voice crack. She visibly winces at the sound and I know the answer.

"I can't tell you that Ange. I promised I wouldn't lie to you." she tells me.

"What was it that made you do it? Money? Power? A spell?"

"I did cause I owed someone."

"Faith we've had this discussion before!" I yell at her. "Last time you came to see me you promised you wouldn't do that anymore. You told me you would find someone to settle down with. I can't trust you."

"I'm sorry Ange. I'll do whatever I can to earn your trust back and I'll try to make things right with Skyler."

Before I could answer there was a loud growl over by everyone else. I start running back and see someone that wasn't there before and it seems like Scarlet knows them if the growling is anything to go by.

Scar Pov

I watch Angela walk off with Faith following her and it almost makes me feel bad for bad Faith. Almost. I would feel bad but she hurt my baby girl and that's not okay. I'm broken out of my thoughts by Alice slipping her hand in mine and I smile at her.

"What are you thinking about Scar?" she asks.

"Just that I almost feel bad for Faith." I answer. She raises an eyebrow but doesn't push which seems weird for her.

Before I can say anything more though I smell a familiar scent and growl loudly while moving in front of Alice. I sense that she wants to ask what's wrong but a figure in all red appears before she can. I growl louder and the figure looks at me and removes her hood I stop growling immediately and smirk.

"Hello Kennedy. Did Jessika kick you out?" I ask in a teasing tone.

"I fucking hate pretending to be her mate. This bond shit sucks and she's abusive. You better take her down soon." She says. I growl loudly.

"She hits you?" Kennedy nods, "That's it, you're done with this mission. I refuse to let you get hurt."
