We're going on a trip, in our favourite feels-ship! Shooting through the sky! Crying fangirls! XD

A/N: Hello everyone! I hope you liked my very lovely ~not~ tune, composed by moi! LOL. Just enjoy the story, guys.

Enjoy chapter 27!

I sat silently in the quinjet, awaiting further instructions from Cap and Stark. In reality, I was composing myself into my assassin mode, and therefore almost fell out of my seat when Bucky shuffled a bit.

Clearly, he noticed me sudden movement, and I felt ashamed that I'd get scared by him that easily. Godammit, Charlotte.

Suddenly, Steve had the nobility to barge in, and I glanced at him questioningly.

"We'll be landing in 30. Charlotte, Stark needs you."

I nodded keenly, getting to my feet and moving to the cockpit. Steve, on the other hand, sat down in my previous spot, turning to talk to Bucky in hushed murmurs.

"Hey, Blue," Stark said the exact second I stepped into the cockpit.

I smirked and replied with a quick 'hey' before he continued poking fun at me any further.

"So what did you need me for?" I asked, pondering what could be so important for me to show up.

"Well," Tony conceded. "For starters I didn't want to see you making out with RoboCop over there."

I almost fell over at his words. "What the- where the hell did that come from?!" I almost yelled it, my eyes narrowing considerably.

Tony, looking like he wanted to jump out of his skin, put his hands in the air. "I- I've seen the way he-he looks at you," he replied nervously. "It's a look of absolute adoration."

I closed my eyes for a minute, trying to calm down. He doesn't like me. He always ignores me or just straight up has the weirdest moods. He doesn't like you, Charlotte. Don't kid yourself.

"Tony, I'm sorry, but that's crazy."

"It's not! I've seen too many of these things happen. Personally."

He gave me a look which looked like he was having a father/daughter heart-to-heart with me. I stifled a groan.

Finally, he got back to business.

"Anyway, I wanted to make sure you were ready for this."

I rolled my eyes. "Been trained for it for half my life."

Tony gave a thoughtful nod. "You're gonna be great, kiddo."

I smiled at him. "Thanks." It's been a long time since anyone's actually given me a proper compliment. Huh.

"Is that all?"

"Actually, no," he continued, bringing up a holographic map. Then, he turned to face me again with his chocolate orbs boring into my crazy blue ones.

"I need intel they stole from S.H.I.E.L.D," he said. "And what better way to get it with an extremely skilled hacker by my side?"

I glanced at him, curiosity burning through my facade. "Just how much do you know about me, again?"

"Hey, I have a lot of spare time. Anyway, you're gonna need to retrieve intel. Level 5 should be the computer rooms." He paused, then handed me a USB. "Good luck."

I nodded dutifully, then headed out of the cockpit.

"Everyone ready?" I heard Steve whisper into my headset.

"All good on mainframe," Stark said, his suit making his voice sound tinny.

"Good on the guns," Bucky replied, and I wondered how many times he'd said that before.

"Ready," I whispered back into my headset.

We'd split up, with me at the back door, Rogers on the front, and Bucky on second level, sniper rifle at hand. Stark had taken the perimeter ground, currently settling on the roof. We were a really good team.

"Alright, on my command, Charlotte break in and Bucky get any agents around ground and 2nd level. Clear?"

I nodded, although I was 100% sure that they couldn't see me. I couldn't care less.

"Go Charlotte."

Suddenly, I wrapped my right hand around the back knob, crushing it in my grasp. Then, I kicked the door in, making my way inside.

It was almost as dark inside as it was outside. My clothes mingled well and therefore camouflaged me, and the hallways were empty so far. I snuck about, my heels making no noise on the dark tile floor.

I heard footsteps and hesitated. Two agents came around the corner, and before they could scream, two vibranium daggers had embedded themselves into their chests.

The next part was a bit tougher.

At least 10 agents rounded the corner, and began shooting at me. I deflected the bullets with a silver shield I put up on the last minute, and when my shield spiked, I threw it at two of the agents, getting each in the chest. 8 to go.

Three came charging at me, and I expertly dodged all their pathetically placed punches and kicks. I grabbed one of the guys' legs, spinning him so he would knock one of his companions over. Then, I swiftly roundhouse kicked the third in the chest with my heel, effectively impaling them.

Pulling vibranium spikes from the walls, I embedded the last 5 assholes in front of me, huffing with resignation as the last one dropped. Done.

Then, I heard a clang. I almost shrieked as

something flew towards me, but then caught it in my right arm. When I saw what my hand held, I breathed a sigh of relief.

Steve's shield.

Said person then jogged to me, but slowed to a walk when he recognised my face.

"Oh, hey," he said, glancing around. "You okay?"

I smirked, waving his shield in my hand. "Just fine. This belong to you?"

He grinned, and I handed him the shield.

"So where to next?" I asked.

"Well, considering that should be all the HYDRA agents around, we can go scavenge and then-"

His little conversation was interrupted by a loud crash, and several HYDRA goons suddenly came through the window. I flinched slightly, confused by all this.

"Steve, what the hell? I thought there were only around 20 agents," Bucky's voice shouted through our comms. Steve sighed. Then, I heard Tony's voice.

"Guys, you got a lot of incoming. It was a set-up."

"By whom?" I demanded, yelling through the speaker as another explosion went off.

There was a brief pause from the other end.

"Kingpin."

Yeah, I know. Kingpin is a Daredevil character, but he is HYDRA and fits the bill :)

Either way, follow, favourite and review because it's just getting better! :)
