A flash.
Some veterans froze at the sight of their comrades being decimated by a bright yellow flash.
The commander of the platoon watched in horror as his entire platoon was decimated in just a few short seconds. They hadn't even made it to the bridge yet, none of his men or women was left alive, and now, he was standing before what seemed to be God himself, purple ringed eyes staring back at him, a golden aura of flames surrounding the figures body as the rage the being was putting out was tantamount to a hundred Kage's killing intent.
Naruto Namikaze, the Godaime Hokage, stood before him, and he knew his life was over. He had been exited for this mission, a chance to prove he still had enough in the tank to be a head Jonin.
Now he could do nothing but watch as the glowing golden man walked toward him.
"You are the first enemy I have ever shown this to. The power granted to me by the Rinnegan, given by the Kyuubi no Kitsune, and perfected in secret. This is my god form..." Stated Naruto as he stood still and raised his hand. "Bow. Shinra Tensei."
The nameless Jonin folded in half at the waste, being repelled by the force of gravity itself. He never felt the impact of the ground, he was already dead.
"Wow. That was brutal. And why are you calling yourself god?" Questioned Sasuke as he looked over the devastation. "Oh right. Well, your still the Dobe in my book."
"Oh, shut the hell up Teme!" Stated Naruto as the chakra cloak receded and his eyes returned to their normal blue.
The two friends shared a laugh before they both adopted a serious look. Sasuke was the first to break the silence. "Are you really going to destroy Iwa?"
Naruto took a deep breath and looked to the sky. "I'm going to cripple their forces at the very least. I can't just sit back anymore. With kyuubi I can sense which ones are lost causes, anyone who isn't I'll give the chance to flee or fight." Naruto looked into Sasuke's eyes and smiled. "If this little plan of mine works..."
"Not everyone in Iwa is a bad ninja Sasuke. They deserve a chance too, and there is no one on this earth I trust more than you." Stated Naruto. "You are my partner Sasuke, through thick and thin, through my time as Hokage, you have had my back. I will need you to watch it again."
"Naruto..."
"Alright, don't get sappy, we have to get back to Jiraiya, there's a pretty good chance he's trying to grope one of the girls." Stated Naruto as he grabbed Sasuke's shoulder.
-Akatsuki hideout-
"Damnit! I'll show those mother fuckers! They will rue the day they laughed in my face!" Shouted Obito as he thrashed the room he was in. 'They just brushed me off! Sensei's bastard son outed me as on being Madara and they all just dismissed me like a common bug!'
Obito was so caught in his rage he didn't even see that the remaining members of Akatsuki, Bijuu included, were gathered around him until Kakazu spoke.
"Calm down. The last Bijuu has been sealed and we are ready. Shall I continue gaining bounties?" Questioned Kakazu.
"No." Obito said definitively. "You all need to get use to your Bijuu powers, I want you to find the most remote spots you can and prepare, in one weeks time, we launch our attack."
"I know of something that may help this battle you are planning. Would you mind if I retrieve it?"
-Kage summit-
Naruto and Sasuke flashed back into the room and retook their spots, surprising many of the occupants when they saw that neither had any blood on them.
"It is extremely rude to leave a meeting." Stated Mifune in disinterest.
"I am sorry Mifune-dono. There was a small problem I had to take care of." Stated Naruto with a smile.
"It seems you didn't brat. There isn't a mark on you, and I know my men did not flee." Stated Kitsuchi.
"Your right, they didn't flee." Stated Sasuke. "But you should have sent your best. Dobe cut through them like tissue paper."
"I find that hard to beleive. They were my best ninja. My jonin elite. Even your adorable little Branches would have fallen to them." Stated Kitsuchi arrogantly.
"May we continue the meeting Mifune-dono? I apologize for my absence." Stated Naruto before looking up at Jiraiya. "I hope the pervert didn't make too much of a fool of himself."
"Disrespectful Gaki." Muttered Jiraiya as he continued writing in his ever present note pad.
"Enough. I've had it with this farce. If all Iwa wants to do is puff their chest then Kumo has no reason to be here." Stated A with authority.
"I agree. Suna has no reason to stay either. It is clear that Iwa has no plans of joining our alliance and the other four major villages already are in full cooperation." Stated Gaara.
"I don't really see a reason for Konoha to be here. If what he says is true, then I just took out more than half his Jonin. They have nothing left to fight with." Stated Naruto.
"Fine! Then I as the yondaime Tsuchikage, declare war on konoha!" Shouted Kitsuchi.
"Ok." Stated Naruto simply before he got up and began to walk out the meeting room, Jiraiya and Sasuke following. Soon after the Kumo and Kiri groups followed.
Only the Iwa ninja and the departing Suna ninja remained when Gaara turned to Kitsuchi and spoke. "You have made a fatal mistake."
Kitsuchi just smiled. "I'll wipe his away like an insect."
-Taki-
"How pitiful. This village has fallen off completely since I left." Stated Kakazu as he threw a ninja away from himself. He walked towards his goal, beneath the great tree in the middle of the village sat a large reserve of water. Known as the Hero's Water. The Water was a by product of the tree that the Shodiame Hokage grew himself as a show of trust and respect.
However, what made the water special wasn't that it was blessed by the Shodaime. The water could unlock a persons dormant chakra, giving them nearly unparalleled strength. This has the drawback that once the chakra ran out, it would result in death.
The secret to the hero water, that only Kakazu and the first Nanabi Jinchurriki knew, was that the water was not meant for humans. It was meant for jinchuriki. Bijuu did not run out of chakra.
-Suna-
"My, sure has changed..." Stated Sasori as he moved through the halls of his hideout. He was impressed by the growth Suna had made under Gaara.
As he made it to a door, he paused, wondering if Chiyo had ever found this place. It was unlikely, after all, it was on hollowed grounds. Soon the world know the power of a thousand puppets. "And to think... I'll still be the weakest member."
-One week later-
"I don't like this Naruto, it feels wrong." Stated Sasuke as he scanned the village with his doujutsu. "It's too calm. There is no movement."
"He's right Gaki, Iwa has always rolled out when an attack is incoming, and even Kitsuchi isn't daft enough to think that you were bluffing." Stated Jiraiya seriously. "Send a shadow clone in, we can hightail it out of here if kitsuchi has a trick up his sleeve."
"Alright Pervy Sage." Stated Naruto as he summoned a shadow clone and sent it into the village.
The Naruto clone stood before the gates of Iwa, its creator ready to decimate the village as he had promised. But there was one problem. The village was empty.
The clone activated sage mode and began its trek into the center of the village, becoming more and more disturbed as he got closer to the kage tower, and still no signs of life. Pulsing his chakra he found that not only were there no people in the village. There was no chakra either. The clone felt its body freeze as the entire village began to glow blue, chakra pulsing around it as it rocketed into the air, trying to get a better idea of what was happening before it dispersed.
It was then that the clone spotted it. The kage tower began to glow red, the area around it glowing purple as the two forces met, and the clone dispersed.
Naruto's eyes widened as he gained the clones memories. Naruto looked to Jiraiya before he felt his world bluring. "It's a Reverse Summoning Seal! It latched on to my chakra and its pulling at my conscious. Go to uzu and find it in the vault, It was done by My great-Grandfa-"
And Naruto was gone, His chakra signature fading from existence.
(From this point on This story will run parallel to Naruto: Before the Before. At some point in the future, the stories will re-merge and it will be a continuation of UTU at that point in the story line. I Assume that this will be hated by most and i plan to have Naruto back in this fic in less that three chapters.)
(Side point, If BTB is super popular, i will most likely split the stories and they with both continue uninterrupted of each other.)
