I want to be a marine

Request from Rankochi: So sweet all of it! Thank you for the many updates :D How about one where one of the kids actually decides to become a marine?

Umiko sighed running her hands through her blonde hair, she had to speak to her parents they had always said to both of them that no matter what they wanted to do they did not care as long as they are happy. Edward smiled down at his little sister and ruffled her hair, "It will be fine," He stated.

"Yeah but I'm not like you I don't want to be a pirate and take after mum and dads," Umiko argued, "I want to be a marine and beat the bad pirates."

"You can do that as a pirate, you know what our parents and Uncle Luffy do or a revolutionary… Wait no Uncle Sabo goes after bad marines and are trying to stop the government…" Edward contemplated.

"But I don't want to take down the Government," She argued, "I want to save people and…"

"Alright, alright," Edward chuckled grinning at his younger sister kissing her head, "Go talk to our parents."

Umiko grinned widely at her brother walking out of his room and towards the Captains office she knocked on the door and heard her mothers voice first, "Enter."

"This is still my office, yoi," Her Papa snapped.

Umiko pushed the door open, "Umi hunny how can we help," Her mother questioned smiling brightly at her daughter.

"You know how you and Papa…. Well the entire family actually always says that no matter what we do or what to become you will support us?" Umiko questioned.

"Of course sweetheart," Megumi smiled softly.

"Well… I…." Umiko breathed deeply, "I want to become a marine!"

"If that's what you want," Her mother shrugged as she placed another pin into the map on the back wall.

"Wait… what?" Umiko questioned, "You aren't going to…"

"Well of course not, yoi," Marco chuckled smiling at his daughter.

"We have always told you and Edward no matter what you want to do we will stand behind you," Megumi stepped towards her daughter kissing her temple softly stroking back the blonde locks, "We know that you won't tell them any secrets of the Whitebeard Pirates, because I know that your family is important to you."

Umiko was honestly stunned not expecting her mother or Papa to take it so easily, "Hey… what's with the strange look hun?" Her daddy asked stepping into the room.

"Umiko has told us she wants to become a marine, yoi," Marco stated.

"Oh cool, Take after your Grandpa Garp he was an amazing Marine," Ace chuckled patting her back leaning forward and kissing her mother on the cheek.

"Wait… what?"

"What you are expecting me to go oh no you can't do that," Ace laughed, "I'm not going to tell you what you can and can not do Umiko, I'm not that type of parent."

"Whatever you want to do sweetheart," Marco stated, "We support you."

"I think you will make an amazing marine," Her mother grinned.

Umiko had come to the completely conclusion, that her parents and brother was werid… but family was family.

AN: I am surprised how much I have got out recently, I am trying to get to the point where I am not at like ten request when I get back from the office lol. Not that I'm complaining you are all amazing.
