Training with Grandpa Garp

Request from Rankochi: How sweet they are! How about seeing a training session between the kids and Garp? Knowing how he was with Luffy. xD

Umiko loved her parents dearly but she was annoyed when they told her and her brother that they were going to leave them with their grandfather Garp. Uncle Luffy was nearing the end of the new world and rumours had it Marines and Teach where waiting for him.

"They will be fine my dear," Garp chuckled giving their mother a kiss on the cheek.

"Anything happens to them Garp will be your head I will be coming after," Their mother warned as she kissed them both on the cheek, "Now be good for Grandpa Garp, we shouldn't be too long."

"Go," Garp chuckled shooing the woman out of his home and down the path, "I took care of Ace and Luffy when they were kids don't worry I will train them to be strong."

Megumi did not like the sound of that and would of argued with the Marine Hero but she really needed to get going with a quick wave to the Kids, both Edward and Umiko watched as the Moby Dick sailed away.

Garp turned and grinned at his great grandkids, "Ready For some training."

This would be the only time in her entire life Umiko will admit that she actually hated her parents, Great Grandpa or Gramps Garp because the first one was too long for the six year old to say lived at the side of a forest which was the forest her daddy, Uncle Luffy and Uncle Sabo played in all the time. The mountain was filled with bandits and dangerous creatures, her daddy and uncles had told her the stories of Gramps Garps training methods and she was not looking forward to it.

"Alright it's bed time," Garp took the children out to the mountain.

"But bed time is for when you get into beds," Umiko whined looking around at the dark forest.

"You can have your beds when you have got your way back to the house, this is a team building exercise," Garp grinned at his great grandchildren and then he was off.

"Eddie…" Umiko looked up at her older brother relaising he didn't know the exact route home.

"Yes Umi," Edward asked his younger sister. noticing the girl was shivering from the cold, he pulled his younger sister into a hug, "Let's get back yeah."

"Please Eddie… I don't like the dark," Umiko whispered clutching the back of her brothers shirt as they decided to follow the pull towards the ground.

It was four months before they saw their parents again and Umiko was starting to hate her Great Grandpa throwing them to wide creatures, down dark pits, into the rivers leaving them alone in the dark to get their own food. She swore there was some child protection laws against these things.

"UMI!" Her mother yelled scooping the girl up into her arms picking up the leaves, "What on earth happened to you?"

Umiko pointed at Garp, "He left me in a tall tree and told me to climb down."

"GARP!" Megumi yelled.

Ace chuckled as he watched Megumi chase after the Marine Hero threatening to kill him.

AN: Megumi would kill Garp if he put the kids through that type of training I think, note Edward is about ten in my head when Luffy becomes king. Yes Mittens I know I have a request for you but my order got muddled up some how I don't know how but yours is next promise.
