Eddies in a coma

Request from Kaguya: Can ya do one were Eddie winds up in a coma and umi doesnt know what to do and calls her parents

Umiko was in a muddle she didn't know what to do as Daisy said that her brother was in a coma, oh god mum was going to kill her if she found out. Mum was protective over both of them even now when they are twenty two and eighteen their mother still worries over every small little thing.

"Umiko," Francis stood next to his younger cousin pulling the girl into a hug kissing her temple, "You have to tell Aunt Megumi."

"She will kill me," Umiko cried out.

"If your mum doesn't find out viva you she will find out some other way, we both know that," Francis tried to reason with his cousin.

Umiko nodded her head knowing that Francis was right her cousin was smart, she sighed and went into her brothers room, she didn't know what to do Eddie always lead the crew and now they don't have him Daisy said they will just have to wait for Edward. When he was ready he will wake up, she sat at her brothers desk looking at the maps across it the letters from their parents and newspaper articles along with the crews bounty posters across the wall.

She looked at the sleeping den den that sat on her brothers desk before picking it up and dialling a number she had memorized since she was five, the snail started to ring and all Umiko could do was wait.

The snail at the other end was picked up after the third ring and Umiko felt fear rush up her spine, "Hello?"

"Mum…?" Umiko questioned.

"Oh Umi darling how are you?" Her mothers cheerful voice sounded at the other end of the line.

"Ok Mum, you?" Umiko replied softly.

"Sweetheart what is wrong?" Her mother asked.

Umiko smiled even though they were millions of miles away from each other her mother could always tell when something was wrong, "We were in a fight… with some of Teach's old crew members and…"

"You all are ok?" Her mothers concerned voice filled her ears.

"No Mumma," Umiko whispered, "Eddie got knocked round the head with something I didn't see… I wasn't there and… Mummy… He's in a Coma."

"Oh my days," Her mothers surprised voice filled her ears, "The rest of you…?"

"We are ok…. Few cuts and bruises you know the normal," Umiko answered.

"Thank god," Megumi sighed.

"BUT MUM EDWARD!" Umiko yelled.

"Eddie is a strong boy Umi," Her mother smiled, "He will be fine just resting."

"I don't know what to do Mumma," Umiko cried finally for the first time since her brother was in the coma she cried, "I'm scared Mumma."

"You be strong, with the Captain out of working order it goes down to the first mate to be the leader until the Captain is well," Her mother instructed her.

"But… I can't lead," Umiko argued.

Her mothers musical laughter filled her ears, "I thought the exact same thing love, but you are my daughter you can lead if you pushed your mind to it. Now wipe away those tears, and be brave because Eddie and the crew needs you to be brave."

"Thanks mum."

"Anytime sweetheart."

AN: Aw the mother and daughter relationship is strong, yes Dark Marco is amazing lol. I just went with Megumi well she did call the parents den den so maybe the boys were in the background.
