Kids meet Law
Request from Roxie14: Do one where the kids meet trafalgar law
Law had been sailing alongside the Strawhat Pirates for a few years now, he knew of Strawhats Luffy nephew but he never knew that the man had a niece as well. Law sighed as he listened to Luffy cheer loudly along with his niece and nephew running around the Thousand Sunny.
The youngest was Portgas D. Umiko the daughter of Marco The Phoenix, he sighed watching as the girl screech with laughter as Chopper nudged her with his nose in his reindeer form. She seemed bright and lively as her mother was, but she had the calculating look in her eye that he saw her father have.
Law sighed as he watched Umiko crash into the ground, her eyes watered slightly before she burst out crying. The Strawhat's were left on babysitting duties on the two children, Law pushed himself up and stood walking over towards the three year old kneeling down he picked up the three year old. She sniffled and snuggled into the feathers of his hoodie, Law could already tell that the girl was feeling better already must have been used to snuggling up against her father in his Phoenix form.
Luffy looked wide eyed at his niece as she continued to snuggle into the Death Surgeons neck, she was silent her face was still bright red from tears but she had stopped crying which was the best thing, "Wow…. Umiko rarely lets anyone hold her…."
"Doesn't Umiko-ya live on a large ship with a large crew?" Law questioned.
"Yeah… but she kicks and bites," Luffy chuckled, "She is kicked Usopp because she didn't want him to touch her crayons."
Usopp grumbled something under his breath, "Stupid Kid."
Edward who had been quite throughout the entire situation stepped up towards Law and tugged on his trousers, "I like the smiley face…" He pointed at the jolly roger on Laws hoodie.
Throughout the rest of the day the kids seemed glued to Law both wanting to know everything about him, Law preferred the peace and quiet but just like their uncle these children had no idea what silence was actually was. Edward was loud constantly shouting everything he said whilst Umiko was constantly asking question.
Law didn't get peace until it was bed time for both the children, though he did have to sit down and read them the story about the great Pirate Emperor Whitebeard and his many fights between Sengoku. Nami later on explained to him that Megumi had never told them the conventional bed time stories and always told them the adventures of famous pirates. Such as Shiki, Roger, Whitebeard and many others.
Law would admit that he was impressed with these children, they were amazing children he watched them from the doorway as the siblings hugged each other in their sleep. He might find children annoying, but he does have a soft spot for children.
Nami watched Law from the other side of the Thousand Sunny, a mischievous grin across her lips a camera in her hand oh she had the perfect blackmail on him now.
