Sabo sat in the living room watching the tv, he heard the door slam open and he flinched as he heard angry muttering from the front. He whimpered pulling the pillow towards him, remembering he didn't clean up the mess he made when he came in.

"Sabo... Sweetheart?" He looked up seeing his mum leaning over him, "What's wrong?"

Sabo launched himself at the woman wrapping his arms around her waist sobbing into her stomach, "I'm sorry," he whaled into her stomach.

"What for?" She questioned stroking her hands through his blonde hair, noticing he was the only one downstairs she knew Ace and Luffy would be napping upstairs.

"I DIDNT CLEAN UP THE MESS!"

Megumi smiled weakly knowing his past well all these kids, parents dead, vanished or left them. Then been in horrible homes before they came to her and Marco.

"Sabo," She whispered softly as she knelt down in front of him, "I'm not mad at you, you can go do it know," She smiled widely at him and kissed his cheek.

Sabo grinned widely and ran off to clean up his toys, "Marco," Megumi called to the man as she walked into the kitchen.

"What is it love, yoi?"Marco asked her.

"Marco... I think Sabo thought I was..." She whispered.

"Oh love," Marco left the soup and moved towards her, "They are still settling in love..."

Megumi wrapped her arms around Marco nuzzling her face into his shoulder, "I would never raise my hand to anyone... And.."

"Oh love..." Marco whispered softly stroking back her hair, "I know love. I know, yoi."

"Mum..." A soft voice came from the doorway, Megumi turned her head seeing Luffy standing in the doorway Ace and Sabo standing behind him all three looked confused.

"Yes Luffy?" Marco asked his youngest.

"Why is mummy crying?"Ace asked, actually know comfortable calling both people his parents they were nothing like his last set of adopted parents.

"Just bad day at work boys that's all," She replied not actually realising she had been crying originally.

"LIAR!" Sabo shouted at her.

"Sabo," Marco warned him, shouting was not allowed in this house... Excluding when Mummy was on the phone.

"No I saw how hurt mummy was when I thought I was going to get told off," Sabo stated.

Marco smiled slightly glad he was observant over everything that happened, "Mummy is worried about you all... That's all, yoi."

"Why?" Luffy asked tilting his head in curiosty.

Megumi turned towards the boys and knelt down in front of them, weak gentle smile across her lips, "Remember the bad people that you went to before you came to me and Marco?" They all nodded their heads silently, "I'm scared that you think I might hurt you… I never want to hurt you… any of you because you mean so much to me."

"We don't want you to feel scared in our home, yoi," Marco knelt down next to her, being eye level with the children was key in their books.

"I'm sorry," Sabo mumbled.

Marco hugged the boy whilst Megumi stroked his hair softly, "Never be sorry to us," Marco whispered to the boy.

AN: …. I sort of brush over the subject, but simply for those who didn't get it. In a previous home the boys were abused by their adopted parents, I don't like child abuse I know people who have been hit and such by parents and its not a good thing and even know when me and my friends are in our late teens twentys it still effects them.
