Request from insainty122: Could you make one where Umiko has a decease, but there is no cure ?

Umiko twirled her blonde hair around her fingers waiting for Daisy to come back with the results, she hadn't been feeling well for a long time sore muscles a general hot sweat all the time. She thought it was heat stroke from the last summer island they were on mainly because she spent a lot of time out in the sun when she knew she shouldn't of been. But it had been three weeks know and it was getting to the point where it was effecting her, all she wanted to do was sleep and not move.

Daisy was the only one she trusted to tell this too, yes she grew up with Edward but Daisy she connected with. Though she was a slight coward and everything seemed to scare her easily, they were best friends always be best friends until they die.

She heard the door creak open and she dropped her hair, looking over the room to see Daisy arguing with herself in her mind of what to do. "Daisy… everything alright?" She asked, looking at her friend worry in her silver eyes.

Blue eyes locked with silver as Daisy finally looked away from the clipboard and Umiko noticed they were watering, "I'm so sorry," She whispered softly, Umiko was surprised she actually caught what the girl said.

"What you on about Daisy," Umiko tried to laugh but it hurt too much.

"I can't do anything about it…" She whispered again.

"Daisy you are a fantastic doctor, as good as your mum and uncle Chopper of course you can," Umiko cheered her friend on.

Black hair flew around her as she shook her head quickly, "I can't even mumma and Uncle Chopper can't it… JUST CANT BE DONE!" She wailed loudly as she slipped onto the floor hugging the clipboard to her chest rocking back and forth.

Umiko softly slipped over off the bed and moved over slowly to her best friend, lowering herself to the floor next to her, "What's wrong with me then Doc?" She asked gently.

"It's a virus… I don't understand how you got it…. It was meant to be wiped out centuries ago but it's called mortem. It's basically your cells are dying, it starts with muscle and brain tissue, you will lose functions in your brain and your muscles will stop moving, then it will move to your bones so your body becomes weaker and then… vital organs like the heart, stomach and lungs," Daisy explained to her not looking at her.

"So that explains it then," Umiko murmured softly.

"I don't know how long, some cases were slow over many years whilst some well… they died in a matter of days after the symptoms you show basically," Daisy stated.

"I don't hate you," Umiko smiled weakly, "You didn't give me this did you."

"WHY I NEVER!" Daisy shouted at her.

"See… I don't want you to be upset over it," Umiko told her, "We live through this, we are the Phoenix Pirates nothing bring us down."

AN: Umiko takes a lot after Ace, nothing bothers them and they expect what has been laid out for them. Though Umiko gets her brains from her actual father and is quite smart.
