Meet Makino
Request from Ann T: Could you write one where Marco and Megumi meet Makino?
Marco watched Ace from the corner of his eye as the younger man seem to dance across the deck, Megumi tucked herself into Marcos side yawning. "What is he so excited about?" She asked rubbing the sleep from her eye, it was obvious that Ace had woken her from her sleep. But the woman didn't seem bothered more curious to why her partner was dancing around the deck at stupid o'clock in the morning.
Marco pointed over to the island that was coming into view, the Goa Kingdom it was where him and his brothers grew up well Sabo in the Goa Kingdom, Ace in the forest and Luffy for most part the of his childhood in the Windmill Village. "Come on," Ace grabbed both of their hands and pulled them down onto the dock, "I want you to meet some one."
Megumi has never seen Ace so excited for them to meet someone in her entire time on the Whitebeard Pirate Crew it was a lovely quite little village, not as grand as many islands on the Grandline or holding the air of mystery like her home did. But it was lovely and simple, "MAKINO!" Ace yelled out as he slammed the doors open of a pub.
Megumi was about to scold the man when he was suddenly tackled by a crying green haired woman, "YOU ARE OK!" She hugged him tightly Megumi and Marco both looked at eachother guessing this was Makino that Ace just called out about, then they watched her smack him upside of the head, "HOW COULD YOU MAKE US WORRY SO MUCH!"
Ace chuckled rubbing the bump on the back of his head, "Yeah sorry about that."
"YOU KNOW YOUR GRANDFATHER AND DANDAN HAVE BEEN WORRIED SICK OVER YOU AND LUFFY AND…." She paused her eyes catching the long pink hair woman and tall blonde hair man behind standing behind him, "Ace these are…."
"Makino I want you to meet my partners," Ace grinned, "This is Marco Phoenix, New Captain of the Whitebeard Pirates and this is Akiyama Megumi, new second division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. Guys this is Makino she helped Dandan raise me and Luffy when we were younger."
"Lovely to meet you, yoi," Marco smiled holding out his hand which the woman shook.
"Pleasure to meet you," Megumi smiled shaking her hand.
Makinos eyes welled up in tears again before she threw herself at them both hugging them tightly muttering thank you over and over again, the two looked at each other in confusion before she pulled back and smiled at them, "For saving Ace and Luffy during the war."
"They are family, we always protect our family," Megumi stated smiling softly at the woman.
Makino was stunned at the two in front of her, both of them held such power behind their names but just seemed happy knowing that their family is safe, "I know," Makino smiled clapping her hands, "Dinner on me, I'll contact Dandan and the bandits and we will have a family dinner."
