Three weeks, three weeks had gone by and Marco was growing concerned the wife of an admiral was sitting in his bedroom at the moment. Nothing from the World Government or the marines, for the only heir to one island they don't seem to care about her.

"I told you," She scoffed that afternoon, "They don't care."

"A wife of marine Admiral and the only daughter to the Sparkling Enclave Islands, they have to care you are there family?" Ace questioned her sitting on Marcos bed talking to her.

She had refused to changed out of her dress over the three weeks, she had washed and had Izo wash the dress a few times for her. She still looked as clean as she was when she first stepped onto this ship.

Megumi scoffed and leant back in her prison chains still attached to her wrist, she wasn't stupid she knew that there was no way in hell she will be able to take on any of the Whitebeard Pirates, " I don't think you get it Mr Portagas," Megumi hissed, "I am not anything to them, I am a way for Akainu to keep in the good books with the World Government same as my parents."

"I don't understand?" Ace cocked his head.

She could of strangled him, "What she is saying is that neither cares if she dies, they have been searching for her but not big enough of an effort to actually find us or demand her back. They know who took her, the entire world does, yoi," Marco stepped in seeing the woman getting more wound up.

"THEN WHAT WAS THE POINT IN TAKING HER!" Ace yelled at Marco.

Megumi blinked a few times as the room fell silent, remembering the one and only time she shouted at Akainu he had actually hit her in the middle of Marineford. Not a soul who saw that happen mentioned it to scared of what Akainu might do to them.

"I am just a pawn in a large game of chess to them," She sighed bringing her knees up to her chest, "They do not care."

"I don't get it," Ace tilted his head.

"OF COURSE YOU DON'T!" She screamed at him eyes shinning with tears, "YOU KNOW NOTHING OF CELESTIAL DRAGONS, YOU ALL THINK WE ARE PRETTY PEOPLE SITTING ON ARE HIGH THRONES! WE AREN'T….."

She tugged hard at the chains slipping down on the bed, letting tears leak from her eyes and she sobbed, "Just drop me off on an island, let me die… I'm no use to no one…."

Ace moved before Marco could blink suddenly gathering her up in his arms, "Hey I'm sorry…." He whispered to her.

"Please don't…" She whispered, "Leave me alone."

Marco sighed crossing his arms as he leant against the door frame, "You can stay, yoi." Both of them looked up at him slightly confused, "If your family won't take you back… we will add you into oue family."

AN: Poor Megumi, stupid marines and world government.

Also for people who are on about the new chapter for whitebeard siren I am not going to start the new chapter until the next chapter of one piece is out trying to figure out a few things on it.
