Request from kaguyakirilov :hmm I was wondering if you could do one where ace gets hurt and has to b e intisive care or something but he recovers after megumi and marco and eddie talk to him whiele he is asleep

Darkness that's all Ace could see was darkness, he remembered fighting against Blackbeards men that was the last thing he remembered and now he was floating in a silent void. It was like he was swaddled in a dark blanket, then he caught it the faint sound of crying and the faint pressure on the top of his arm.

"I'm so sorry…"

Megumi?

"Megumi it wasn't your fault, yoi."

Marco?

"Papa why is Mummy crying?"

Eddie?

I am awake guys… I can hear you.

"If I didn't go after Catrina Burgess wouldn't of surprised him," Megumi murmured.

"Mumma… Daddy knows you didn't hurt him…"

"Megumi, Ace wouldn't want you to be like this."

Catrina, Burgess… what had exactly happened out there. He remembered Megumi running off and… Catrina …. She had threatened Eddie, the worst thing to do to Megumi was threaten either of her children.

He felt the soft gentle pressure on his cheek, it felt like fingers trailing across his cheek brushing his hair out of his face, "I shouldn't of gone…" Megumi whispered, her voice was a lot closer than before.

He then felt another pressure against his hip, then a tiny weight lay on his chest, "Daddy is gonna be ok…. Right Mummy?"

Of course I am going to be ok Eddie.

"Of course Daddy will be alright, Eddie your mummy is just worried over him, yoi," Marco stated.

How on earth did that woman even get the one up on him, he had watched Megumi take down that woman with ease on multiple occasions. He remembered going after Megumi when Catrina had threatened the lives of their children.

Then Burgess, "This is my fault I should of seen Burgess."

"Mumma…" Eddie stated.

"I want your daddy to be safe Baby."

Burgess that bastard had smashed what felt like a house made of seastone over his head, no, Ace started to argue with himself he can't be laying down like this he wanted revenge on that man after working with Teach and also his role in Dressarosa.

He felt a large hand running through his hair and a tiny hand patting his cheek, "Come on Daddy you can't be sleeping… you said there is bad pirates out there that you need to take care of… you can't be sleeping when you need to sort the bad men out…."

"Eddie," Megumi's soft voice filled his ears, "Your daddy must be very tired we should let him sleep."

NO! Ace yelled in his mind wanting to reach out towards them, wrap his arms around them and say that he was sorry.

"Megumi why don't you go take this little monster to bed I can keep an eye on flame brain, yoi," Marco chuckled.

"Not flame brain…" Ace muttered cracking an eye open before mumbling, "Stupid Pineapple."

"ACE!"

"DADDY!"

Two weights landed on Aces chest winding the poor fire user, "Hey I'm alright," he laughed wrapping his arms around Megumi and Edward, "Just listening helped to you helped me wae up."
