A/N: In which Jellal and Erza had been planning to do stuff for Valentine's Day the night before in bed, but the next day they get the chocolate they hid in various places and just sit at home eating it
This wasn't exactly how the intended on spending their day.
"Do you think Natsu finally proposed?" She asked airily, popping another piece of chocolate into her mouth. The small ball of holy goodness melted in her mouth, covering her tongue in the sweet, brown substance. Her partner glanced down at her, frowning in thought.
"I'd assume so," Jellal guessed, pulling Erza closer into his side using the arm he had wrapped around her. She obliged, pressing her head against the curve of his shoulder and feeding him another piece of chocolate, too. "But on the other hand, I would also assume he'd burn down half the city in his excitement. And since all the buildings are still standing…"
"Do you regret not going out for dinner?" She suppressed a yawn, gazing out the window at the full moon that hung in the air. It was late; despite the couple waking up early to spend the day out and about, they had, in the end, pulled out all the chocolate they'd hidden from their spots and proceeded to curl up in bed and do absolutely nothing but eat chocolate. The ultramarine was mildly surprised that neither of them had gotten tired of the treats yet, or the fact that they hadn't eaten a meal yet. But did he regret the change in plans? Not at all. Cuddling with his Scarlet was much better than strolling around the busy streets of Magnolia in the frigid, February air.
"I think I much prefer having you all to myself," he chuckled, smiling widely as she swatted him with her free hand. As she turned to him, amber eyes twinkling brightly in the candlelight, he noticed a dark smear on the corner of her lips.
Without so much as a second thought, he leaned forward and kissed away the chocolate stain, relishing her little gasp of shock.
He grinned. "I much prefer having you all to myself."
