It was some time later. I was sitting at a table in the bar coffee in front of me. I was drinking it. It wasn't great but it warmed me up.
"oh there he is," kaitlin said.
"who?" I asked having forgotten for a moment who I was waiting for.
Then: " ."
his smell reached me before he did the smell of smoker guy.
"hey sorry about that sorry it took so long. Um I brought my friend's coats for you to wear there are only 2. going to have a beer," he told me.
I stood up put the coffee down and put the 2 coats on.
"thank you," I said sitting back down.
"yeah sure."
"what can I get you?" kaitlin asked.
"uh a beer please."
"ok."
she took his order and left.
