Remus looked up from his book. He was so comfortable in his chair by the fire and didn't feel at all to go and spend his night in the shrieking shack. But he had learned not to moan about it. There was nothing he could do about it anyway... This was his 144th time to transform (yes, he keeps counting) so he should be used to it by now.

So at 11 pm he made his way down to meet with Madam Pomfrey.

The waking up and getting dressed progress was difficult and took time. But he always enjoyed it and felt relived at that point. That was the time furthest away from his next transformation. But just as he was finished and about to leave the shack...

"What? You again!" barked Remus. His head was throbbing and his limbs would't let him stand up for too long so he sat down on the cracked floor again.

"Yeah, thought I'd say hi." Blacks charming face was grinning down at Remus. And without minding Remus' nausea, he sat down as well, just as if they'd met in a park. "I wanted to wait outside until I was sure you wouldn't rip me apart," he laughed.

Remus had a really hard time to understand how Sirius could take things so easy and careless. He didn't seem to have any prejudices at all sometimes. Though he knew that that wasn't true since Siri- Black, had bullied him for years.

"What are you doing here again?" Remus sighed and brought his hand up to his hot forehead.

Black just shrugged and looked at Remus with a small smile on his lips. Remus was tired and wanted to go to his bed. He was also tired of Blacks games that had kept going on for weeks now and he couldn't understand any of it. So, he gave a sigh and gathered his courage to just ask straight out.

"Look, I don't understand what you want from me. Why have you started acting so strange and why not just leave me alone? Please, I'm really tired of this." said Remus and kept his hand on his forehead, feeling it pulsing and having to shut his eyes in pain.

Sirius didn't reply and stayed quiet which surprised Remus. He had expected to get a witty and flirty reply back, not just silence. So he turned to look at Sirius after the pained had eased for a moment. Just as he did, Black was reaching out to Remus' forehead causing Remus to flinch.

"Stay still," said Black in a soft voice that Remus never heard him use. He then pressed a damp cloth of some kind to Remus' forehead.

"Ouch!" cried Remus and was about to pull away when Black held the back of his head.

"Still! You're bleeding quite a lot," said Black and gently pressed the cloth to Remus' head. Remus hadn't even noticed him bleeding, so when he looked down at his hand he found it smeared with his own blood. His head was spinning and couldn't really tell if Sirius was still speaking or not. And when his vision got blurry he felt Sirius slowly moving him to lay down on the floor. He was staring up at Sirius above him, feeling the pressure of from his hand on his forehead. The faint taste of blood in his mouth made him feel sick and shut his eyes.

I just need to breath...It will pass. Thought Remus and took some quick breaths. He had experienced this before. He rarely fainted, it usually stops after a while so he wasn't too worried. Besides, Sirius was here now...

"Remus? Remus, can you hear me?"

Remus heard Sirius as if from a distance and slowly opened his eyes again, giving a low moan in reply.

"It's alright. It should be fine," said Black as Remus vision got back to normal. His head throbbing dully.

"Mm..." mumbled Remus. He knew that he would soon be able to sit up again, but he just wanted to lay here for a little longer... Feeling Sirius' hand on his head.

When Remus felt strong enough to sit, Black helped Remus' heal the wound. It didn't turn out very well. To be honest, Remus could have done the spell better on himself but Black was very keen to help out. He also realized that the "cloth" Black had used to pat his forehead with, was in fact a Slytherin scarf. Black had used his own scarf to wipe the blood away from Remus' head. The realization made Remus' blush and go quiet.

"You didn't answer my question," mumbled Remus after a while of silence.

"What?"

Remus sighed impatiently. "Why can't you let me be?"

It felt rough to ask now after Sirius just had saved him from fainting and healed his wound. But he still needed to know.

"Because I want you," Sirius shrugged nonchalantly. Remus found that a bit rough. So Sirius hadn't changed his behavior of kindness. Just simply because he wanted him in that way... The whole idea of that made Remus cringe on his spot.

"Why don't you like me?" asked Sirius and watched Remus closely, almost accusingly because Remus didn't have feelings for him and chased him like all the girls did.

Remus looked up in Sirius eyes to find him looking completely solemnly with the question. Did he really have to ask that?

"Well, you've been bullying me and beaten me since our start on this school. You humiliate me in front of your friends and you kissed me without my permission. -"

"I don't believe that you didn't want that-"

"-And not just that," Remus continued, ignoring Sirius' stupid reply. "Because of your father, mine is about to loose his job. I have a rough life as it is," Remus waved his arms. Motioning to the shack they where in. "I don't need someone who makes my life more difficult."

"Why are you getting so worked up? I was just helping!"

"No. Helping someone is not stalking them and forcing yourself onto them," snapped Remus. Getting more upset for every second now.

"It's not like I want to marry you! I just wanted to be with you and you know-" Sirius started before Remus interrupted.

"But I don't want you! I don't do those stuff. I'm not that easy," said Remus loudly. Feeling slightly awkward about the subject. But he was too upset to stop the words from coming out. "I'm not like that. So just...leave me alone."

With some difficulty, Remus heaved himself up from the floor and made his way out. Walking the tunnel back to the school as fast as he could.
