The red head who had accosted him was the first to disappear beyond the cross dimensional tare with Kagome cradled in his arms followed shortly by the two silver haired figures. Koenma lingered a little longer, looking anxious as he studied him. "She'll live Shinobu. I promise."

"Where are you taking my daughter?" Nodoku finally managed to sob out forcing the spirit prince's attention to her.

"They're taking her to Spirit World ma'am she'll receive the best treatments available, and we will provide you with an escort should you wish to visit her."

The elder Higurashi's eyes widened exponentially at the mention of Spirit World and then narrowed in suspicion. "And why would Spirit World only just now take notice of my granddaughter?"

But Shinobu cared little for what answer the prince would give. "She better live Koenma…" Finally finding the strength to stand Shinobu pushed himself up brushing past Koenma and heading toward the tare pausing to issue one final threat. "You know the price if she does not."
