It was a couple weeks later after the baby shower and seeing their family and friends, they were getting ready for moving day. Jane had started putting stuff in boxes while Lisbon worked on light packing while sitting down. She wanted to contribute to the packing, so Jane would grab a box and bring some items to pack while she could sit down on the knew that Jane was having Cho and Wylie, along with Tork help move the large items such as furniture. The nursery was already done; he had brought the crib and bassinet a week before the baby shower. They would be coming soon to the house and she was getting more and more nervous.

She was nervous about moving a third time in a just a few years and each time it was all because of Jane. She had moved to Washington after the CBI was closed down, then a couple years later, she moved to Austin and nearly to D.C. and back to Austin. But this time it was different, this time she was moving into a home. It was a move to a house she would really begin a home with her family- Jane and their child. In a way her houses in both Washington and Austin, were never really homes, just houses she lived in. She felt that the house that Jane built felt like a real home. Before, Jane found the house, the Airstream felt more of a home than her previous house, because Jane was there and so she spent more time there when they were dating than the house. With her pregnancy, it was easier to stay in her house, but now she and Jane would move into their real home.

She heard a knock on the door and Jane walking towards. "Hey, Jane, you ready for us?" She heard Wylie.

"Of course, we are. Right now, we are going to take all the furniture except for the couch right now. Lisbon's using it." Jane said indicating with his hand where Lisbon was sitting. She hoped they wouldn't take the couch with her still on it. She saw Wylie, Cho, and Tork coming in to take the furniture from the house. During the time, Jane had brought boxes from her room and one box definitely caught her eye. Her medium sized box she knew was the box where she stored Jane's letters from the island. These were letters she read countless of times while she was in Washington. She smiled at the thought. She pulled out of the box, the one she knew was the first letter and opened it up.

Dear Lisbon:

I can't tell you where I am as you very well know, the FBI is after me. I want to let you know I'm safe where I am. I can tell you it's by the beach someplace nice. Since I settled here, I found an apartment and it's a good home. You would definitely see it as better than the CBI attic. I haven't quite gotten to know people, though I'm not sure I'll understand them or they understand me all the time. I hope you are well wherever life has brought you now. I miss you and the team. I hope they are well with their life as well. This is going to be a short letter as I am still navigating around here myself. I promise to write. I wish you could write back, but that will be too dangerous and I've already put you in enough danger. Until next time.

Regards,

U Know Who

It helped her get by during those long two years without Jane. She appreciated the letters so much and she in them and read them over the two years. Lisbon smiled as she put the letter back in the box. At that time she read them, she didn't know she would see Jane ever again, so cherished the letters even more. Now here they were, married and making a life and a home for themselves.

The guys loaded the furniture up in Tork's truck he offered for them to , Wylie and Tork traveled in the truck while Jane and Lisbon took some boxes in their car. They noticed it was 5:00, and so they decided to order some pizza for the guys for helping. They came back to the cabin and Lisbon directed the guys where to put everything and after finished Jane and Lisbon left to get the pizza.

Jane and Lisbon came at the entrance of the cabin and opened the door and saw the three guys, Tork, Wylie and Cho at the table. Jane was carrying three large pizza boxes. "Moving Finished pizza for a job well done. This way you can be part of our first meal at our house." Jane set the boxes in the middle of the table. Cho immediately opened the top box. "Okay, who ordered pineapple?" Cho asked with a disgusted look looking at the beef and pineapple pizza.

"I did." Lisbon said carefully sat down. Jane sat down beside her passing out the paper plates to everyone. Lisbon took a slice of pineapple. "There's regular beef too." She reassured Cho. Cho grabbed the other box with the beef and took a piece out.

"Pregnant women and their weird cravings." Cho teased.

Jane grinned. "She's had weirder cravings than pineapple and I've had to get them." Jane admitted.

"It's not a craving. I've always loved pineapple on pizza." Lisbon grinned.

"It was you who ordered it? I always thought it was VanPelt." Cho said.

"Yes." Lisbon said taking a bite of her slice. "Mmm."

"I don't understand how anybody could put fruit on pizza?" Cho questioned looking at Lisbon enjoying the slice.

The group grabbed their own slices of either beef or pepperoni and put them on their place and started eating.

"This house really does look nice. Good job, Jane." Cho looked around the house. Wylie and Tork nodded in agreement with their mouths full of pizza.

"I had help. Lisbon's brothers and other guys I hired. We couldn't have done all this moving without all of you guys. So, thank you." Jane grinned and then took a bite of his beef slice.

"It was no problem, Jane. We liked helping." Wylie said.

"That's right." Tork said. "I never brought this up since I started working in Austin, but you were the one sent those platform shoes, Jane." Tork said looking at Jane.

"Yes, I was." Jane admitted looking at Tork sheepishly. "Sorry."

"Jane gave you a gift too, Tork?" Wylie asked.

"Sort of." Tork admitted.

"Last year he gave us all gifts. I got a Tamagotchi and still have it on my desk." Wylie admitted.

"I figured, Jane. Now that I think about it, it was pretty funny. At the time it wasn't because Niskin kepting teasing me. All this time I was blaming Niskin. I'm not quite as sensitive about my height anymore." Tork explained giving a little smile.

"At the time, I wanted my team back and Lisbon back as boss." Jane admitted and looked at Cho and then his wife. "I like you now, Tork. I'm glad we get to work together. I apologize for that time." Jane grinned.

"I forgive you, Jane." Tork said.

It was a week later after moving. At first she wasn't sure if it was a good idea to move then, but then she thought it was better than moving when they had a small baby to get to used to caring for and handle. Everything at their new house was ready, though some things were still in boxes that didn't have to be taken out right away. They would slowly unpack those a little at a time. Generally, most of the items they moved were hers, since Jane didn't have a lot with the exception of some books and socks and some of his clothes and most of it was in the Airstream. They were both sitting on the couch relaxing. "I just can't believe this is our house." Lisbon said admiring the living room. "This is so nice. I didn't expect you to do so well. I love it, it's our home."

"Teresa, you didn't have faith in me?" Jane said concerned.

"Well, it's just that I've never seen you build anything, so I didn't know what to expect." Lisbon confessed. "You always surprise me. This time it was a good surprise and it's absolutely beautiful." Lisbon smiled getting teary eyed.

"I'm glad you love it. I amazed myself, to be honest. I couldn't have done it without the help of your brothers and some other help. There were times I didn't think I could do it. Now, we have a home to raise our child." Jane said smiling. Lisbon was pleased and happy. They were at their home and their child would be part of it, but she was still nervous about parenthood. What if she failed? What if she did something wrong? Jane knew how to be with children, she didn't as much.

"I'm going to be a terrible mother." Lisbon worried. Even though Grace reassured her the time she was here, she still felt nervous and inadequate about caring for a child. Maybe it was the fact the baby was so close to coming. During her pregnancy, she had gone through so many emotions and symptoms, they were hard to keep track.

"No, you're not. You finished raising your brothers. They turned out alright. In a way you sort of raised me from being lost to what I am now." Jane said putting his hand on her shoulder.

"Yeah, I'm still raising you." Lisbon teased and paused "You saw how I forgot Stan's son's name when we went to Chicago." She worried.

"That could've happened to anybody." Jane reassured.

"It showed me how much I missed in my brothers' lives. But you're so effortless with kids and I'm awkward." Lisbon said remembering him playing with Stan's kids at the shower and Paul's Christianing party. He had always been a natural with kids, she remembered also all the kids from the cases he talked to or played with. She knew he was great with her little niece at the zoo a couple weeks ago.

"You'll be fine, Teresa. your child's going to love you. You're feeling nervous because the baby is coming in a few weeks. You're bound to be nervous. I'm nervous too." Jane explained.

"I'm not familiar with caring for babies. Alex mentioned she was taking a class for baby care." Lisbon remembered the conversation with the girl a few weeks ago. It had a been a week since she last talked to her. She wondered how she was doing? She seemed to be doing good with her new foster family.

"Do you want to take a class?" Jane asked. "I probably need some brush up too."

"Maybe I should, I don't want to mess up." Lisbon worried.

"That's the part of parenthood. You don't know what you're doing half the time. I certainly didn't know everything first becoming a parent and I still don't know." Jane explained. " I never got to raise a child past six. I'm not exactly dad of the year." Jane said sadly.

"It wasn't your fault." Lisbon said. "Thomas McAllister took that from you."

"I know. I'm realizing it now but I still shouldn't have said what I said about Red John."

"You'll be a great father. We also need to decide about childcare because we'll have to get back to work eventually for sure." Lisbon realized.

"When you go back to work, I want to be home with the baby." Jane said seriously.

"You can't do that all the time. We need to find alternate childcare options too. I do know that." Lisbon said realizing it was a step they needed to do with a baby. They weren't going to always able to care for the child. They needed care for the child when she would go back to work in a couple months. Jane couldn't do it all the time and he would need a break himself.

"I suppose it would work to find a sitter for nights out for a couple hours." Jane said.

"So, you're not planning to go back to work at all. You're just going to be a stay at home dad?" Lisbon asked realizing that Jane might be fearful of leaving the child and be too protective like he did her.

"No, I don't plan to go back to work. If you absolutely need help, you could call. I'm not ready for daycare." Jane said worriedly.

"But we need to look into it." Lisbon grew frustrated. "We don't need to decide right away, but we'll have to decide at some point."

Jane noticed her concern and frustration. "I'm sorry, Teresa, I should want to do it. Charlotte had daycare but I'm scared of something happening. It's better with you because I can't make you quit your job and also because you won't put yourself into as much danger, right?"

"I promise, no unnecessary danger when I go back to work. I'll have our child to think about, but you can't be so overprotective all the time." Lisbon stated sternly. "We can talk about this later." She relented not wanting to argue about it. She knew that taking a child to daycare was normal for most parents when they had a full time job.

This had been their really first serious disagreement since the pregnancy or even since they got married. Sure, they had small disagreements that weren't really any issue. She didn't know what to do about his worry. She supposed when he became fearful over the sniper case, she should've taken him more seriously. She tried to reassure him, but it was just light affirmation. Maybe if she just let him really go into his fears, he might have not took her out at the hotel. Maybe it wouldn't have made a difference, she didn't know. She knew Vega's death affected him deeply, and she should've realized if she had been the one in the coffin, it would be just as traumatic for him as Angela and Charlotte's death or possibly more. He had been better, more relaxed since they married, but at work she hadn't been doing anything dangerous because of the pregnancy, so of course he was relaxed. She didn't know how he would react when she came back to work doing field work again. She would have to wait and find out.

Feedback is appreciated. I don't know who ordered the pineapple pizza at the CBI when Cho complained before. For my story it was Lisbon. Beef and pineapple is my favorite pizza.I imagine that Jane would be worried for his child and would do everything he could to protect his child. I think that would be something he would do to try make up for.
