Chapter 26
I just want to say, I've been really overwhelmed with the amount of followers this story has amounted to with the story being a story outside the FBI of Jane and Lisbon's life. Over 70! I never thought I would have this many with this story. I want to say that I do this story for fun and for the enjoyment of writing and using my imagination. I've updated X Marks the Spot which has a case if you're interested in a case. I've updated Potential Pocket Rocket as well.

Waiting in the priest's office of the church building, Jane should've realized he and Teresa would have to meet with Father James beforehand. He wasn't going to try to be critical of the Catholic religion for Teresa's sake, although he would have to honest about his unbelief. Jane read the Bible just because he was curious at times. He knew many verses by memory which came to be useful in a few cases. When he read the Holy Book, he looked at it as literature, a story. He saw some useful lines and ideas but yet he found it hard to believe people put faith in an unseen God. He always thought life was what it was and there was nothing more after someone died. Part of the reason he hardly visited Angela and Charlotte's graves was because they weren't really there. Only concrete and dirt were visible to him. When he found Lisbon praying, comfort filled him and knew her faith was strong. He wanted her to be happy, so he put all his reservations of faith and God aside and decided to partake in the ceremony and focus on celebrating his daughter. He tapped his fingers nervously on the chair arm.
Teresa noticed his nervousness, which she was surprised considering his usual calm front in all situations in which he usually had to calm her. This time, she realized Jane was out of his comfort zone. "So, are you sure you want to really go through with this? We don't have to do this because my brother and sister in law expect us too." Lisbon said looking down at the baby in the car seat soundly sleeping wearing a light pink onesie.
Jane looked at his wife closely, "As I recall you were happy I agreed to do it. Even falling tearfully in my arms." Jane reminded giving her a small smile.
"Yes, I am. I was very surprised you were willing to do it without an argument." Lisbon admitted.
"If it's important to you I'm going to be involved. We're celebrating our child's life." Jane responded.
Father James walked into his office around to his desk and taking a seat in the chair across from the couple. "Hello, Teresa, Patrick. We're here to discuss your daughter's Christening."
"Yes, Father." Lisbon said.
"Before we discuss the proceedings of the Christening, I like to get to know the parents. When I met you it was said that Teresa you're a Catholic." Father James looked towards Teresa.
"Yes, I am. My mother brought me up in the faith. My faith has always been important though my job has prevented my church attendance through the years." Lisbon admitted. Every so often she'd get a chance to attend.
"And what is your occupation?" Father James asked.
"I'm a cop. Now I'm an FBI agent though I've been on maternity leave a couple months." Lisbon admitted.
"Very honorable job. And you Patrick what did you mean by exploring?" Father James asked.
"Well, I never grew up with a religious background and so I never fully grasped the idea of a higher power. I find it hard to believe." Jane admitted with the best explanation without appearing too cynical.
"And what do you do for a occupation?" Father James asked.
"I'm the FBI's consultant. I've worked with Teresa for years consulting in California as well at the CBI." Jane admitted.
"Typically for me both parents are usually believers. I've never had a situation where the couple is unequally yoked." Father James confessed.
"No offense, Father but did you compare Teresa and I to cattle?" Jane questioned raising his eyebrow.
"It's what we call in Christianity when a believer and nonbeliever are married. So, Patrick, you're willing to participate in a ceremony for your daughter you don't necessarily believe in?" Father James looked at Jane carefully.
"If it makes Teresa happy, yes. I got to thinking it's a celebration of our child's life. We went to her, well, also my nephew's Christening and that's what I saw out of it. All these people gathered together to celebrate the birth of a child." Jane admitted.
"Surprisingly, Patrick was the one who wanted to take me to church that night and decided on having the Christening." Lisbon admitted.
"Yes, that's very true, so I agree wholeheartedly. You are aware it's also for the child's spiritual growth as a child of God." Father James said.
"Yes, I noticed that too." Jane said.
"I have to disagree on the yoke thing. True, I'm a nonbeliever and Teresa's the believer, but we are yoked together in more ways than you think. We've been through a lot together. Pretty much hell and back through the years. I haven't been perfect but we've stuck together." Jane admitted looking at his wife.
"Yes, we have." Teresa smiled.
"I don't doubt you. May I ask how you two met, not the whole story. A brief idea." Father James asked.
"Well, Teresa and I met under less than pleasant circumstances. My previous wife and daughter were murdered and she was the head agent at the time in charge of the case." Jane shakily said not really wanting to discuss Red John.
"That's certainly a good reason for your unbelief. People have come to me after a tragedy and asked "Where was God?" You don't have to divulge into anymore. I can see it's a painful topic."
Father James said.
Father James continued explaining the proceedings of how the Christening would go. "Let's see the beautiful baby."
Jane decided to take the baby and find himself a cup of tea in a coffee and tea shop nearby, and Teresa decided to start planning for the ceremony and look at the baby store for Christening dresses after the priest's visit. A Christening was happening. She didn't even need to convince her husband. He readily agreed on the ceremony. Through her life she never spent time imagining having the perfect life, at least not after her mother died. Sure, she had some thoughts on it but the thought stayed in the back of her mind. She concentrated on being the caretaker to her brothers and spending time thinking about getting through another day. Then her father decided to beat her and her brothers and then later she focused her time on work and watching over Jane when he came. Now, she, Jane and their daughter were a family and her thoughts changed. She picked a tiny white dress from the rack and couldn't help but go back to a happy memory of her mother.
"Do we have to go to church? It's so boring." Little Stanley Lisbon complained slamming the door to the car as Anne Lisbon parked the car in the St. Patrick's Catholic church's parking lot. "The priest doesn't speak English sometimes." Stan continued complaining. Today the Lisbon family would celebrate the Christening of James Lisbon. Following Stan, Teresa in her white dress and Tommy in his suit.
"It's very important for you to have faith, Stan, you never know when you need it to get through hard times." Anne said. "Stop complaining, appreciate that you can go to church. Some children can't. For once, please be good for me."
The children followed their mother into the building and immediately were greeted by the members. Twelve year old Teresa Lisbon was ready for church; she was excited for the special time she had with her mother. Generally, most of the time her mother kept busy at the hospital and hardly had time to have quality time with her, but she always made sure she could go to church. Teresa looked forward to dress up at church, which was the only time. Normally she hated wearing dresses, but she felt proud when she dressed up at church, for God and for her mother.
Getting seated in the pew Teresa's mother sat down and the two boys crowded by Teresa. "All of you children were baptized here." Anne Lisbon said holding onto baby James in the white Christening gown.
"He pushed me." Tommy pointed to Stan and looked towards his mother.
"No, I didn't. He pushed me first." Little Stanley said.
Teresa rolled her eyes at the sight of her little brothers who fought constantly everywhere. When she married, she hoped for a nice little girl, instead of a gaggle of boys her mother unfortunately had to control.
"Boys, we're in church, you need to behave." Anne Lisbon said.
The boys tried to untighten their ties of their suits. Jimmy squirmed in his mother's arms not wanting to sit still at six months.
"Quit messing with your ties." Teresa said trying to discipline her brothers. She took them and straightened their ties. "Sit Still or I'll tie you up tonight."
"Teresa, my little caregiver." Anne Lisbon smiled.
Looking at the empty place by her mother, she missed her father. He hadn't been a big church goer everytime. He didn't even decide to come on the most important day of the baptism of his youngest. "I wish Dad had come." Teresa told her mother.
Her mother unclasped the hook on the back of her cross after carefully setting Jimmy in the car seat. "Here you go, Teresa. Think of me and know I'll always be watching and will be there for you no matter what happens in the future." Anne Lisbon said. "I want you to remember me and wear this on your child's baptism. I realize it's early to think about your future this far ahead." She carefully placed the cross around Teresa's neck.
"Don't worry, Mom, I won't take it off." Teresa said taking the cross in her hands and then placing a big hug around her mother.
Teresa came out of her memory of the day her mother gave the cross to her. As she thought about one of the last memories of her mother before her death, she realized her mother's words seemed to be a premonition because the next week her mother was killed. Coming home from work one night, a drunk driver crashed his car into her mother's car causing her to die instantly. Teresa's promise to her mother remained true as she continued to wear the cross. She took it in her hands and examined it. Now her mother's memory shared a place with Angela and Charlotte Jane. She looked at her husband's previous gold ring with her mother's cross.
She remembered Jane's proposal and his explanation of how his previous ring meant more than just his devotion to Angela. He indicated it meant a great deal to him because it represented also when he met her and the beginning of his time with her. It's what connected him to her in a way. When he gave her the gold ring, at first she didn't know what to do with it, but that day looking at her mother's cross, her mother's memory was preserved with wearing it. Even though Jane's ring had an additional different meaning, it still represented his memories of Angela and Charlotte, and what a perfect place to put it with her mother's memory. Sure, to most people wearing her husband's ring from another marriage seemed strange, to her it was more than that. Preserving the memories of three important people who lost their lives too early was the meaning.
Cho paid for his coffee at the cafe in Barnes and Noble and sat down at a small table. He took out his purchased book from the bag and started to read. It was a quiet week. In fact it had been a quiet few months ever since Jane decided to so-call "retire" from the FBI as well as Lisbon going on maternity leave. Sure, he had enough help with Wylie and Tork and of course Sanders. But he missed his former boss, Lisbon whom he sometimes had a hard time of not seeing her as his boss. Now he was the boss to her. He even missed Jane. Jane and Lisbon adjusting to parenthood was a whole new thing. He never imagined his former boss tough as nails could handle being away from her job but now a mother. And Jane, a reckless vagabond settled in utter domesticity and planning on being a stay at home father.
He could have shot Jane when the ex-consultant attempted to set him up with his vet, Lily Kim. He was sure Lisbon thought about the many times the amount of trouble he caused. A couple of weeks had passed but still why he was so concerned? True, it had been years since he dated seriously. Sure, he had a few dates here and there but nothing serious not since he was with Summer. He loved her, but she needed to be somewhere else and she found that. Since then, he hadn't had too much interest in getting in the dating scene. He focused on his job. Jane was right. He had a tinge of jealously when seeing the Rigsbys and the new wouldn't worry about it. He was content with his job.
"Is it okay if I join you?" A familiar voice sounded. Cho looked up seeing Lily Kim the Vet. She held a cup and a bag in her hands. "There's not any other available table." She noted the full cafe.
"Go ahead." Cho responded.
Lily took a seat. "How's the FBI?" She asked taking a sip of her coffee and placing it on the table.
"Still solving murders. "How's being a vet?" Cho asked taking a sip of his coffee.
"Good. Still treating animals. I delivered a colt this morning. You've seen your friend lately?" Lily asked.
"Not lately. He's busy with his baby." Cho said. "And his cat."
"I recall you don't like cats." Lily said.
"Yes. He named me Godfather to his daughter."
"It sounds like a big job. My sister named me Godmother to her son." Lily said then taking out her purchased book, a collection of Sherlock Holmes stories.
"You like mysteries." Cho noticed.
"Oh, not typically, but I thought this would be a good one to start." Lily said.
"I read classics. I get too many of those with my job. And we already have strange Holmes character working with us. Jane is basically him." Cho admitted.
"So, you compare Mr. Jane to Sherlock Holmes." Lily questioned.
"Not completely. He's not quite as eccentric. He's a good guy, I like him." Cho admitted. Originally when he started working with him, he didn't know what to think, over the years he got used to Jane's ways and admired his perceptiveness.
He watched Lily Kim give a smile. "He seems like a good person, Kimball."
Cho suddenly got a twinkle in his eye and mind and thought he might as well take the chance. He liked her fine. "Do you like Italian?" Cho asked finally asked.
"Yes, I do." Lily said giving a small smile.
"How about Friday night at 7:00pm at Bonicelli's?" Cho stated.
"That's when I'm done with the animals." Lily said.
"That's when I'm done with murders." Cho said.
"You're asking me out on a date?" Lily asked.
"I guess so." Cho said.
"I'll see you then." Lily finished.
The day of the Christening a couple weeks later was a beautiful day. Jane and Lisbon invited her brothers, the Rigsbys and just close family and friends. They weren't sure everybody could come since many came to the baby shower. Lisbon heard Tommy and Annie were planning to make an appearance because Annie raved about seeing her baby girl cousin finally and Stan and his family were making another trip which surprised her because he had already made several trips to Austin. She hadn't heard from anybody else. Jane decided to have a little gathering at their cabin. He even planned and prepared food for guests. Jane planned to fix spaghetti and he already prepared his spaghetti sauce, however he would have to cook the pasta later. Lisbon put together cut up vegetables and put them on a tray. Jane also prepared a cheese plate and fruit plate for appetizers. He made cannollis and bought ice cream for the kids for dessert. They had gotten to know a lady at the church who was planning to bake cookies in the shape of doves and crosses. She didn't know how many would show up. He only said, "Meh, don't worry, dear, it'll get eaten somehow."
"You cooked enough food to feed an army." Lisbon said looking at the dishes she was preparing to go in the refrigerator.
"As I recall your brothers and their family ate enough to feed an army." Jane reminded chuckling.
Getting ready for the church service, which started at 5:00, Lisbon dressed in a white dress she picked out to match the baby's white Christening gown. Fifteen minutes later before getting ready to leave, carrying the baby in her fresh white clean dress, Lisbon felt her bottom. "Really, honey? You're doing this now." Lisbon quickly rushed to the changing table and started to lift up the skirt, grabbed a clean diaper and remembered her own primping. "Oh, I need to curl my hair! Patrick!"
"Yes,dear." Jane said going in the nursery. "I'll finish for you while you get pretty! This is a surprise you worrying about your hair."
"I don't know, it just felt right to do something different." Lisbon said. She had to admit she wanted to look especially nice for her daughter's ceremony. Her mother would've told her to make sure she looked her best. She left to go to the bathroom.
He continued with the changing of the baby and finally finished. He held her on his shoulder and then heard the little cough noise and instantly saw white on his new jacket of his new suit, that Lisbon insisted on getting for him for this particular day. "Oh, no!" He said at first. "It's okay, sweetie. We can wash it." Lisbon saw it happened as she came out of the bathroom and with a washcloth she had doused in soap and water. She rubbed it in his jacket and cleaned up.
"Jane, do we have a bottle?" Lisbon remembered.
"I put it in the bag. Does she smell to your approval?" Jane said to Lisbon putting the baby close to his wife.
"I think she's fine." Lisbon answered said turning her nose.
They finally entered the car and placed the baby in the car seat ready for their trip to the church for the service. Lisbon's phone rang, she answered. "Hello."
"Hi, Aunt Teresa, we're in Austin but Dad and I need directions to the church." Annie answered. Tommy and Annie this time decided to rent a car instead of being required to be picked up.
A loud wail sounded. Lisbon looked at the scene in the back, her daughter calling for attention while she was trying to speak on the phone. She attempted to tell the directions but Annie only responded with a "What!" Jane took notice and hopped out of the car and into the back seat retrieving the pacifier and stuck it in the baby's mouth. Finally, calming sucking, the baby looked around for a little bit and finally fell asleep.
"Sorry about that, your little cousin needed her pacifier." Lisbon said looking over the seat at the sleeping baby.
"That's okay."
Lisbon gave the directions and finally finished the phone call and noticed Jane in the driver's seat.
"You ready? Then he said. Is the cat in? "
"Yes. I'm pretty sure she's in." Lisbon answered, however Jane went back and checked and came back out.
"I'm ready now, dear." Jane said as they prepared for the 20 minute drive. This morning was a fast morning of events and Lisbon realized mundane life is all about loving your daughter and husband. It's not mundane, but very important.
Arriving at the church at the front door, they were met by Wylie and Cho who decided to share the job of Godbrothers with them being the closest friends.
"Hey, you two. It was an honor for me you considered me for such an important job." Wylie said.
"Well, we trust you, Wylie." Lisbon said.
"Jane, people aren't going to get the wrong idea of me and Cho?" Wylie asked.
"Ah, don't worry, I'll explain it." Jane answered.
Going in they were greeted by Rosanna, the church secretary, who they had seen them before they met with Father James. Today's the day your baby girl will be baptized. I am delighted that you two are doing it." She looked down at the baby sleeping contently in the car seat.
The crowd roamed into the church and took their places. Finally, they were met by Stan, Karen and their children. "Uncle Patrick!" Annie Lou excitedly said rushing to hug her Patrick.
"Hi, Annie Lou." Jane said.
"How's Pumpkin?" Annie Lou asked.
"She's fine. She's growing like your cousin." Jane said.
Tommy and Annie eventually came with a woman followed by Jimmy and a woman.
"Hey, T, this is Julie." Jimmy introduced a black haired girl with blue streaked hair. Great, another winner. Lisbon thought.
"Hi, I'm a ESL teacher. I teach English to immigrants. "I've heard so much about you, Teresa. You're his superhero sister, FBI agent." Julie said. Teresa shouldn't worry about Jimmy's girlfriend. Who was she to judge? She was married to a former conman, fake psychic and carnie who spent 10 years of his life chasing a serial killer to avenge his first family's murder and who had tended to break nearly every rule in the cop's book.
"Oh, yes, she's definitely a superhero, cape and all." Jane grinned.
"I heard about you too. My mom was client of yours as a psychic." Julie admitted. Lisbon looked at her husband. It was always awkward when he saw former psychic clients or children of his former clients. Either they wanted him to do a reading to find their child like Beth or the children went after him for deceiving their ruining their parents lives. Jane looked at her like it was okay. He knew he would be bound to run into clients once in a while.
"I don't do that anymore." Jane admitted.
"Jimmy mentioned it too." Julie said.
"Oh, Reese, this is Tara. Tara, my sister Teresa and hur husband, Patrick." Tommy introduced a mid length brunette.
"Hi, congratulations on your new baby." Tara said.
Getting seated, the service began with announcements, Lisbon heard in the pew behind her, Karen and Annie Lou. "Mommy, when's baby Lisby going to get a bath like Paul did?"
"Soon, honey." Karen said whispering to her daughter. "We need to be quiet like in our church."
Teresa smiled at the conversation behind her and looked down at Lisby Michelle who started to wake cooing and she looked up at her mother. A couple of hymns played. She heard Stan's kids make noise and some parishioners looked. She didn't mind at all. She felt blessed to have her family and friends and the fact her husband wanted to partake in the special ceremony.
Finally, after a couple of prayers, Father James spoke, "We have a celebration of life today, a precious new child we will introduce into the family of God. May I ask Teresa and Patrick Jane and their sponsors to come forward?"
Teresa noticed Patrick carefully picking up the baby and put her up to his shoulder. She slept calmly on her father's shoulder. Throughout the years, she noticed Jane's obsession with Red John bringing him fear and discord and now watching him and their daughter brought him peace and light. Cho, Wylie, Stan and Karen followed them up to the front of the church.
"Hey, Cho, what are we supposed to do?" Wylie whispered.
"Stand here." Cho said.
"We are here to celebrate the life and introduce Lisby Michelle Jane to the Kingdom of God."Father James stated.
Patrick handed the baby to Teresa carefully in her arms. Her daughter, their miracle, she'd never thought she'd have. Her mother would be proud of where she was today, a strong woman with a family and celebrating the birth of her child. She knew her mother watched over her, she always believed it.
She heard Father James read the verse, one of her mother's favorite verses regarding Baptism. Father James turned and asked questions involving dedication. When Cho told her, her mother would be proud of her getting married, it meant a lot to her that she was finally in this place becoming a wife and now a mother. Not everything was about work. Her old self focused on it. Her brothers along with Patrick made her realize family meant the world. Her makeshift family of her team made her realize she needed to not take for granted the life she was given now. Like Patrick realized, precious memories could be taken away with an incident. During the years she knew Patrick began to appreciate little things, and now she knew he appreciated every second he spent with her and their daughter.
Father James asked the question of dedicating the child to God. She knew she wanted her child to grow with faith like herself and Patrick accepted it. She looked at her husband when he was asked the question. He answered positively even with his doubt Cho and Wylie answered the questions.
When the time came for the baptism, Father James walked to the Baptismal font and dipped a clam shell in the Holy Water. She held her daughter with her head towards the font. The priest held the clamshell up. "I baptize you in the name of the Father." Father James poured the vessel over the baby's head. She flinched a little at the wetness, but relaxed in her mother's arms.
"And the Son." He said as he poured water again.
"And the Holy Spirit." He poured the last time.
Watching the priest cleanse their daughter's head made her think that each dipping of the watering represented her and Patrick life. It represented cleansing of the past and bringing new life of her. She herself, lived in the pain of a troubled past as well as Patrick. She knew his life was renewed, realized with a peace he had to overcome of his torment.
"There's our baby cousin." A little voice echoed the church walls. Teresa looked up and noticed her nephew, Jason giving a big grin and pointing to Lisby Michelle in her arms.
"She's so cute!" Annie Lou announced and pointing loudly not realizing her disturbance of the ceremony. Some people laughed at the little girl's outburst. Others grumbled at her outburst. The priest gave a small smile.
Stan, with a look of embarrassement said. "Those aren't my kids." Karen gave a small grin.
Teresa looked and gave a grin not caring about the small disturbance of her niece and nephew. She noticed Patrick grinning at the sight.
After the water immersion Father James took Lisby Michelle and carried her around the aisles introducing her as a Child of God. Teresa and Patrick lit the candle along with Stan,Karen, Cho and Wylie.
After the ceremony, the Lisbon clan along with the FBI team and the old CBI team headed out to the cabin for the reception and dinner. Jane brought in the cheese plate with slices of a variety of cheese. "Here's some cheese. There's lots of it. Swiss, provalone, American, Pepper Jack, and Colby jack." Teresa followed with the fruit and vegetable tray for the appetizer before the meal and set them on the table where her husband placed the cheese tray. Patrick instantly went back in the kitchen to start cooking the pasta. Lisby Michelle enjoyed the company of her cousin Annie holding her and talking to her. "It's so nice to finally meet you, sweetie." Annie said.
Annie Lou and Jason excitedly played with Pumpkin while Stan and Karen visited with his brothers and their girlfriends. They seemed to be getting along well considering they hadn't talked for years.
Getting seated at the table of the meal with everybody gathered for the delicious meal her husband prepared, Lisbon thought about the wonderful feeling of family once again. She couldn't say it enough. Her mother would be happy. She spent too long avoiding her brothers because she felt guilty. Just like Jane said, they missed her. Now realizing after spending time with them, she missed them too. She needed to be involved with their lives and now them with hers. She realized her mother would want her to be there for brothers and them for her.
Later after a few people had gone home, Stan and his family remained. Sitting at the kitchen table, she and Jane sat along with Stan while Karen watched the children.
"Thanks Stan for coming yet again. You didn't have to travel again. I'm sure it's a big expense to travel with your family." Lisbon said.
"What can I say? I miss you, Sis. And the monetary help you and Patrick's given me was more than I needed. I'll pay it back." Stan said referring to his loan shark debt.
"Well, I had a little extra from my psychic days just sitting there." Jane said underestimating his wealth. Jane made a transfer from his Malibu bank to their bank in Austin. She never bothered to ask how much he made per reading or how much exactly he had, but it certainly was more than anybody needed. When he offered to share some of the load of Stan's debt she refused at first, but he insisted to contribute some. He ended up giving more than what Stan needed.
"Thank you, Patrick." Stan said.
"Stan, we really should come to Chicago next time with all the miles you've gone. You've been here four times since we married!" Lisbon said to her brother.
"I knew it would be difficult for you travel with a newborn. Now Paul's an expert traveler. Well, since you offered, come for Christmas. I take it Patrick's never experienced cold winters." Stan said.
"I think I can handle it. I look forward to it. I'm sure we can handle coming with the baby. She's her mother's daughter." Jane grinned.
Sitting on the porch after everyone left, she and Patrick were sitting on the porch gazing at the mass of , she started thinking him as Patrick more often instead of just Jane. Patrick was reserved at moments like these and was comfortable with him. She looked at him with loving eyes as he smiled contentedly.
"She's sound asleep." Jane stated.
"I'm so happy. Thank you once again for doing this today." Lisbon said. "My mother wanted this so much."
"Anything for you, Teresa. It's my pleasure, my dear. So, you're enjoying smaltzy Jane lately." Jane grinned.
"You're calling yourself smaltzy?" Lisbon eyed him.
"As opposed to annoying Jane." Jane grinned sneakily.
"I do sometimes miss annoying Jane." Lisbon admitted.
"I certainly can bring him out. However, being married to you brings out the cheesiness in me." Jane said.
Lisbon rolled her eyes at the comment then couldn't help but smile and turned to looking at the sky with the vast amount of stars and the moon. " The sky's so beautiful tonight. Even though we've seen it so many times the few months we've lived here, I do admit I love living out in the middle of nowhere with you and all these stars."
"It's not the middle of nowhere. We're ten minutes from town." Jane reminded. "City girl. The stars are amazing. There are a billion of them."
"God created them." Lisbon said.
No matter what whoever created this mass universe, they did a good job. " Jane said.
"He created the whole world in seven days. Remember the sermon." Lisbon admitted.
"That's something I couldn't understand. It didn't take me seven days to build this house." Jane said.
"We're not meant to understand it. I'm happy with our life now. We need to focus on the present. I've spent too much time thinking of the past." Lisbon stated.
"I've really dwelled on the past. I agree with living in the present and thinking about the future." Jane said. He looked up at the twinkling stars. "Whether or not we believe the same, we are all part of this universe. One in a billion of those stars." Jane finished.
"Yes, we are. And we have a precious little star." Lisbon said thinking of their baby daughter.
I may not be completely accurate involving the Christening part as I'm not Catholic though I am familiar with what happens in Lutheran Baptism. I'm not sure exactly which brother is the oldest, but I'm guessing it's Stan. I know for sure Jimmy is the baby of the family. I'm guessing Lisbon's mother was name Anne because of the fact both Stan and Tommy have daughters named Annie. It makes sense they would name them after their mother.
