Sitting smoking feeling high

In this moment it feels so right

A warm April breeze blew lazily through the trees shaking the new leaves slightly. It was safe to say that it was officially spring the last of the frost leaving a month ago as the new blossoms started spotting the ground. Not to mention the new baby animals coming out of hiding. That had been what Shikamaru had been watching as he leaned lazily against a tree watching as a fawn still shaky on it's feet follow its mother around.

He always liked the constant predictability of nature. Spring would come & bring the whole world back to life soon followed by the hot sunny days of summer. Then fall would come to destroy all that spring had made in preparation for the cold harsh winter. Then next spring it'd start over again without fail.

Now if only life could be that predictable, but no life could be a crazy bitch when it wanted to. One moment you think you know a person only to find out in the next that you have no idea who they even were in the first place. But later you might find out you have been wrong about everything all along. It just made no fucking sense sometimes.

Not that this was always a bad thing.

If only he knew last spring what he knew now. Hell he probably wouldn't even believe it himself.

These were the things he was thinking about when a voice interrupted his thoughts.

"Thought you got lost out here."

A smile crossed his face as he turned around. Temari walked over to him with a cup of tea in her hand offering it to him.

"No. Just thinking I guess." He said with a shrug taking the tea from her.

"About what?" She asked curiously he stayed quiet for a moment.

"It's nothing really." He said with a smile as his hand reached out touching her slightly swollen stomach. It wasn't something everyone would notice but it was something he noticed more & more everyday.

Yeah life really could be a crazy bitch. But if it got him to where he was now he really wouldn't of had it any other way.
