A/N: I know you all were waiting for a long time, wondering when the story was going to be updated, especially all of you new readers. Older readers may understand that my updates usually occur during the breaks but for newer readers, I hope you guys understand I have schoolwork to focus on more than writing. I hope you all understand and thank you all for waiting patiently for the new update.

Percy POV

"SHIT!" I screamed as I fell, arms flapping as if I was a bird. The cold dark embrace of the abyss rose to embrace me. Its shivering tendrils of darkness licked my body, causing for goosebumps to form on my skin. On the inside of my body it felt as if spikes were forming and tearing my insides to shreds. I felt as if this entire situation lasted for hours before everything stopped. The pain disappeared, my body halted in its descent. And from the darkness of the abyss a man stepped out.

I frowned, this was no ordinary shade as this shade was purple yet faceless. No physical traits appeared on this abnormal apparition. There were neither clothes on its body nor any bodily features. Its entire body and face were completely blank; it only had the figure of a human male.

"Hi," I greeted only to hear Spi face palm in my head. "Oh now you do something," I said to Spi as she lounged around in my mind.

"Well, I have to say, watching you struggle and squirm around in this black hole was slightly entertaining." I could almost hear the smirk forming on her face. "Besides, you're a big boy now aren't you? You can take it!" An image of her waving a giant form finger saying "Go Percy!" as well as a shirt with my face on it with confetti falling down around her suddenly appeared in my mind. "I'm rooting for you!"

"I have to say, your little compatriot is highly amusing." The deep voice seemed to echo off throughout the abyss as I quickly searched for the source of the voice before my eyes landed on the purple entity.

"Come, we have much to discuss." I watched as the purple entity began to drift away. I tried to follow but only ended up during a summersault in midair. "What the Hades… how the hell am I supposed to move?" All my motion and efforts to follow the entity just caused me to flip and spin everywhere.

"You know this abyss is really dark… I don't suppose you need me telling you about how that can help you move," Spi told me before a flicker of darkness smacked me in the cheek. I stared at the dark abyss around me as the purple shade continued to drift away.

"You got to be kidding me…." I grumbled to myself in realization as I willed for the shadows in the abyss to harden beneath me, allowing for me to jog towards the shade. By the time I caught up with him I could picture Spi's large smirk forming in my mind.

"Took you long enough," The entity told me, amused. "Perseus, even here in this abyss, we hear whispers of your name, the champion of Nyx, the broken maidenhood, a light-bringer. We will see the destruction of those ignorant gods and you will be capable of this!"

"Kronos…?" I asked confused only to receive laughter in return.

"You believe me to be Kronos? That boy cannot even measure up to the greatest beings of this world." He gestured all around him and that's when I noticed a ring of eight more purple shades walking towards us. "The titan has no place on the world, we seek for the recreation of the world above and Kronos seeks for destruction. No only you can bring around a new era to rid the world of its diseases and pestilence and ensure the peace of the era."

I frowned, "I am not opposed to what you are saying but I am only doing this for one reason…"

"Yes, yes, we know, you are doing this because of your… the silver goddess." The spectral corrected. "But why should you stop with her? Don't you understand how many people go through what happened to you? Some many gods and goddesses love to play with the mortals and leave their children alone to struggle in a monster infested world, not giving them a damn. Mortal parents would hate these children or completely avoid them as they serve as a constant reminder of those whom these mortals cannot have again."

The purple entity waved his hand and a bright white light flew from his fingers and formed a screen showing a girl being berated by a woman before being slapped in the face.

"This is Piper McLean, daughter of Aphrodite. After Aphrodite gave birth to his child and dissolved all contact with the baby's father, the father of this child left her to his assistant to raise. Granted, it's not a severe case like yours but she was abused and ignored for most of her life. She does try the occasional stunt to garner her father's attention but only receives the one of his assistant."

I continued to watch the screen as the girl was slapped again by the assistant before she pointed to a brochure to which the girl's eyes widened. The assistant was holding a brochure with the words Wilderness School on the front.

"These Olympians seek to play with the mortals however they wish yet when they create offspring, they are left to fight alone in this world with their parents only recognizing them when they require their assistance. It's disheartening to watch and not able to help."

My hate began to grow, not towards these purple shades but towards the gods for lazy, selfish nature.

He turned towards me and pointed a finger at my chest. "But you can, you need to help these demigods, you can bring a demigod uprising to strike against the gods. Apollo's children already side with you with their father. At least Apollo actually watches over his children…"

"Is this the reason why Lady Nyx sent me down here…?" I asked. If these faceless shades could smile then that's what I could see them doing right now.

"Not necessarily… Lady Nyx told you of the pain you would have to go through yes?" A female voice echoed through my mind.

A shade stepped forward and grabbed my hand, this time the shade had a womanly figure. She guided me away from the screen with the shades behind, following.

"You see, when Lady Nyx sent you down here, she wished to seek for the consent of her former champions. We know of her intentions for you and we agreed. You are worthy of this honor." She laid a finger to where my heart was beating. "Your purpose is pure, your ideals are loved, your devotion is clear. Perseus, we accept Nyx's decision."

A swirl of silver rose from my body only to be attacked by the purple tendrils of power emitted from the purple shades. The purple tendrils overwhelmed the silver and wiped it from existence, before slowly swirling around my arms and into my mouth. I could feel myself struggling violent, fighting for air as the power I was absorbed felt like acid running throughout my body. My eyes began to emit a bright purple, illuminating the darkness around me, two shades stepped forwards and held me in place as my body began to react more violently.

Cracks began to appear on my body where my scars from the hunt appeared. The purple tendrils of power made its way through these cracks and helping to illuminate the darkness with my glowing eyes. I could almost hear voices crying out towards me in despair, the friends I made when I joined Nyx, Moros, Lyssa, Apollo, surprisingly even the goddess that saved Artemis from my torture. I screamed as I felt something ripped from my body to only faintly see Spi undergoing the same treatment as myself. Three more shades rushed forward to restrain her as Spi attempted to attack the entities causing us the pain.

I could start to feel my mind go faint with the lack of oxygen, slowly letting my head fall. My vision began to fade to darkness right before I heard someone scream "Perseus!" before everything went black.

Line Break

A sudden jolt of electricity whipped me out of my unconscious state as I jolt forwards. I could see the nine purple entities facing me in only what I can assume was amusement. "Rise, son of Nyx," I slowly sat up and looked down only to see Spi laying on the ground besides me with purple wisps floating odd her body. Her skin glowing a bright red.

"I don't understand… what the Hades did you all do to me?" I asked. "I thought she was supposed to actually tell me she was going to adopt me, not this crazy light show which almost killed me."

Laughter was emitted from the shades before one spoke out, "What you went through was a honorary stage which could only be accomplished by a chosen few. You are now immortal with all benefits and no restrictions. You can even describe yourself as a god not bounded by the ancient laws."

"I don't think it was necessary for it to almost kill me though…" I grumbled which resulted in an assortment of laughs.

"Don't whine Perseus, it's not befitting for a prince of night. You received the blessings from us, the nine champions of Nyx, the lease you can do for us is to ensure the world above returns to a proper state-and don't worry." The shade said, cutting me off when I was about to speak. "We will be there to guide you through your journey."

At that moment Spi began to rise with her eyes glowing purple with anger. "Alright, where the hell are those cocksuckers who thought it was funny to fuck with me?" She whirled around until she saw the champions of Nyx staring at her in amusement.

I watched as she attempted to slice and dice the transparent beings into tiny ribbons only for her to end up unsuccessful as her blade would only pass straight through them.

"Spi… you do realize they blessed us right?" I yelled out, attempting to break her out of her frenzied state. She turned towards me before observing her own body.

"Huh, I think they made me even sexier than before." I stared at her with my eyebrow raised in question.

"That's all? You don't feel any different, maybe feeling any more powerful than before?" She turned towards me and flicked her hand causing for me to get smacked in the ass by a tendril of darkness, launching me forward fifteen feet away onto my stomach.

"Huh, I guess I do feel more powerful, look out world here comes the new me!" I groaned and glared at her.

"As amusing as this is, you understand what we want you to do first?" One of the shades asked. I nodded and smiled as they slowly dissolved into a purple wisp before being absorbed into my body. Spi sighed before she too merged with my body.

"I swear to god if they start taking up any of my space in your head, I will literally explode." Spi grumbled before I felt myself whisked away from the abyss.

When I reappeared in my bedroom in Nyx's palace, I saw Nyx standing there smiling at me, "Welcome home son." She opened her arms and I rushed into her embrace, filling the empty space devoid of a motherly figure.

"You suck…" I grumbled to which I could hear her laughter.

"I'm sure that my champions told you of what you must do?" She asked.

I smirked, "Don't worry mother, I know exactly what to do, besides, they merged with me so I would have their guidance to fulfill my assignments."

I stepped back and disappeared in a cocoon of shadow.

Piper POV

"Understand this, your father doesn't even want you here with your disorderly conduct! Animals such as yourself deserve to be sent to this Wilderness School to be educated on proper etiquette. When you come back, I hope you would have at least learned something so your lifestyle wouldn't be so pitiful." Jane spat.

I shrunk away to the corner of my room, rubbing the forming bruises on my cheeks. I hated feeling neglected and weak. Jane seemed to always be everywhere to strike me down. I let out a quiet sob as she continued to rant towards me, throwing my books and messing up papers lying all around my room.

"When your father hears about how you managed to steal a BMW, I assure you… he would not be able to stand the sight of you for at least a year. You are already destroying his social life and the least you could do with all the benefits he has given you is to be responsible."

Jane huffed before heading towards the door, right as her fingers began to close onto the doorknob, the door exploded forward, my father slamming into the my bedroom wall. Blood flowed down his nose as well as what looked like several punches to his face. From the dust and bits of plastered that flowed in the air from the destroyed door, I could make out a tall figure with purple glowing eyes that seemed to encase the whole room in purple.

Jane screamed as his hand shot out and grasped her throat. "Please… stop!" Jane managed to squeak out which only caused for his hand to tighten. The figure raised his fist and punched her in the face hard enough to smash her through the floor where she laid unmoving.

"Mr. McLean!" A voice yelled as footsteps could be heard thundering up the staircase. The figure turned and outstretched his hand. I watched in shock as the shadows in my room seemed to flow towards him before shooting out towards the staircase where screams and the impacts of bodies hitting the ground could be heard. I scurried and hid in my closet behind my sleeping bag and clothes.

Everything was silent, only my father making a sound as he struggled for air in his unconscious state. I listened carefully as I heard a phone being dialed before the police answered. The figure then smashed the phone before I heard footsteps coming towards my direction.

"Well Piper, do you wish to stay here until the police arrive or escape?"
